Abstract
Esta solicitud de invención esta relacionada a la obtención de bioactivos a partir de biomasa de microorganismos. Esta solicitud reivindica un procedimiento para la obtención de carotenoides (ejemplificado con astaxantina) a partir de un sustrato de microalgas que se provee como polvo (ejemplificado con el alga Haematococcus pluvialis), el que se comprime para formar pellets, los cuales son sometidos a extracción por dioxido de carbono (CO2) supercrítico.
