Description
Liquid level indicator. The fluid level indicator forming the subject matter of the present invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments in the accompanying drawing.
The embodiment of Fig. 1 has a tubular inspection vessel 1, which is closed at the top with a lid 2 with air hole 3 and is 1.-shaped at the bottom and is pivotable on a bolt provided with a longitudinal bore 11 and a collar <5 4 sits. The bolt 4 is screwed into the BeWäl- terwa.nd 7 at one end through the threaded part 6 and protrudes into the interior of the viewing vessel 1 at the other end; at the latter end it has a transverse bore 8 opening into the longitudinal bore.
The viewing vessel 1 is pressed against the collar 5 by means of a screw 9 screwed into the part of the longitudinal bore of the bolt 4 provided with the transverse bores, with gaskets 10 in between, and thus held in place. After loosening the screw 9, the vessel 1 can be pivoted downwards around the bolt 4 so that the liquid can flow out of the container 7 through the same and a special drainage opening on the container is not necessary.
If the vessel 1 breaks, after the latter has been removed, the screw 9 can be screwed into the bolt 4 so far that the transverse bores 8 are covered, whereby the connecting channel 11 can be closed off from the outside. The openings in the viewing vessel below can be designed differently from one another.
At the in rig. 2 and 3 embodiment shown in longitudinal section and top view, the pivotable standing vessel 13 has a rectangular cross section. Near the lower, closed end it has a hole 14 in each of the opposite walls, through which holes the screw 9 and the bolt 14 protrude. The upper end of the tube 1.3 can also sit round cross-section be.
