Road vehicle equipped with driving wheel and sled runners. The present invention aims to use road vehicles which have at least one front wheel and one rear wheel acting as a drive wheel, such as automobiles and bicycles, also for sled operation. The front wheel of such vehicles is placed on a sled runner and attached to it, while the rear wheel built as a drive wheel is used in conjunction with a sled runner for locomotion.
The drawing relates to two exemplary embodiments of the invention, namely: Fig. 1 shows a rear Velorad in connec tion with an upstream slide runner, Fig. 2 is one of two rear, designed as drive wheels automobile wheels with a perforated slide runner.
The not shown front wheel of the bike is stuck on a runner. The bike is supported at the rear on the compensation lever 3 (Fig. 1). The lever is rotatably mounted in the axle fork 2 by means of bolts 6. The equal lever 3 takes the drive wheel 4 of the bike with one arm and the sled runner 5 with the other arm. The height of the wheel 4 and the runner 5 adjust automatically, depending on the condition of the sledge. There is a pressure equalization between the drive wheel 4 and carriage runner 5 by the compensation lever 3. To prevent sliding of the drive wheel 4 on the roadway, the drive wheel is equipped with grip teeth.
The rear part of the automobile 9 (FIG. 2) is supported in each case; the rear wheel acts as a drive wheel on the two compensating levers 12 and 13, which are connected on the one hand to the slide runner 14 and on the other hand to the suspension spring 11. The front wheels of the automobile are placed on runners and attached to them. Each carriage runner l4 carries a cutout 15, in wel chem the wheel 10 reaches through to move the vehicle.
By the two compensation levers 12 and 13, the relevant part of the weight of the automobile 9 is on the slide runner 14 and the spring 11 respectively. the drive wheel 10 is distributed so that pressure equalization takes place between the carriage runner 14 and the drive wheel 10.
