Dabei zeigt:
<tb>Fig. 1:<sep>einen Ausschnitt aus der erfindungsgemässen Brennkraftmaschine im Bereich einer Leitschaufel eines Verdichterleitapparats eines Abgasturboladers;

The invention relates to an internal combustion engine according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
To increase the efficiency of internal combustion engines, it is already known from the prior art to equip internal combustion engines with a turbocharger. In exhaust charging or turbocharging, exhaust gas derived from an engine is expanded in a turbine, the turbine driving a compressor in which combustion air to be supplied to the engine is compressed. Between the compressor and the engine, a charge air cooler is connected to cool the compressed combustion air to a defined temperature. About such exhaust charging or turbocharging the efficiency of internal combustion engines can be increased.
The compressor of an exhaust gas turbocharger has a compressor rotor or a compressor wheel and via a downstream of the compressor rotor positioned Verdichterleitapparat. The Verdichterleitapparat has several fixed vanes, which serve the flow deflection of compressed air in the compressor combustion air. Starting from the Verdichterleitapparat the compressed combustion air flow is usually first passed through a spiral housing and then fed to the intercooler. In the area of the compressor nozzle, the compressed combustion air flow has a temperature which is of the order of about 220 ° C.
In the intercooler, the compressed combustion air is cooled to a temperature of the order of about 45 ° C, but due to flow losses, the combustion air pressure between the compressor nozzle and the intercooler decreases.
The ruling in the field of Verdichterleitapparats high temperatures favor the formation of contaminants. In particular, in the case of compression of oily air can cause pollution of the Verdichterleitapparats due to coking. From practice it is known to clean the Verdichterleitapparat example with water. However, this has the disadvantage that a separate medium is required for cleaning.
On this basis, the present invention has the object to provide a novel internal combustion engine.
This problem is solved by an internal combustion engine according to claim 1. According to the invention, bores are integrated in at least some of the guide vanes of the compressor guide device, whereby bleed-off and cooled charge air can be returned or introduced into the uncooled air flow in the region of the compressor guide apparatus through the bores downstream of the charge air cooler.
For the purposes of the present invention, it is proposed to integrate for cooling the Verdichterleitapparats in the vanes of the same holes and branched off through these holes downstream of the charge air cooler and therefore cooled down charge air in the uncooled air flow in the field of Verdichterleitapparats or initiate in the same. In this way, a cooling of the Verdichterleitapparats an exhaust gas turbocharger of an internal combustion engine is realized, which does not require a separate cooling medium and further subject by the cooling no further or no additional risk of contamination. With the present invention, therefore, a particularly effective cooling of the Verdichterleitapparats an exhaust gas turbocharger is possible.
Preferred embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims and the description below. An embodiment of the invention will be described, without being limited thereto, with reference to the drawing. Showing:
<Tb> FIG. 1: <sep> a section of the inventive internal combustion engine in the region of a guide vane of a compressor guide apparatus of an exhaust gas turbocharger;
<Tb> FIG. 2: <sep> a cross section through the guide vane of the Verdichterleitapparats in the cutting direction II-II of FIG. 1st
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to Figs. 1 and 2 in more detail.
Fig. 1 shows a section of an exhaust gas turbocharger of an inventive internal combustion engine in the region of a guide vane 10 of Verdichterleitapparats 11. The Verdichterleitapparat 11 is positioned downstream of a compressor rotor or compressor wheel of the exhaust gas turbocharger and upstream of a so-called volute casing of the exhaust gas turbocharger and downstream of a charge air cooler.
The compressor of the exhaust gas turbocharger is designed as a radial compressor, so that flow inlet edges 12 and flow outlet edges 13 of the guide vanes 10 of the Verdichterleitapparats 11 extend in the axial direction of the compressor. Between the flow inlet edge 12 and the flow outlet edge 13 of each guide blade 10, a so-called pressure side 14 is formed on one side thereof and a so-called suction side 15 is formed on the opposite side thereof. The Verdichterleitapparat 11 is thus flowed through in the radial direction or in the tangential direction.
Can be removed, the guide vanes 10 of the Verdichterleitapparats 11 are attached to a housing 16 of the Verdichterleitapparats 11.
The compressed in the region of the compressor of the exhaust gas turbocharger of the inventive internal combustion engine combustion air has a temperature which is of the order of about 220 ° C. For cooling the Verdichterleitapparats 11 is proposed in the context of the present invention, in the guide vanes 10 of the Verdichterleitapparats 11 to integrate holes, which is branched off through the bores downstream of the charge air cooler and therefore cooled down combustion air is returned or introduced into the uncooled combustion air flow in the region of the Verdichterleitapparats 11. As a result, a particularly effective cooling of the Verdichterleitapparats 11 is possible without there is a risk of contamination for the Verdichterleitapparat 11.
As can be seen in FIG. 1, for this purpose, a supply bore 17 extending in the axial direction of the compressor or the compressor nozzle is integrated into each guide vane 10 of the compressor nozzle 11. Starting from this supply bore 17, a plurality of bores 18 branch off, the outlet openings 19 of which are positioned downstream as well as adjacent to the flow inlet edge 12 of the respective guide blade 10. The bores 18 branching off from the supply bore 17 extend essentially in the radial direction or tangential direction. As can be seen in FIG. 1, a plurality of bores 18 are arranged one behind the other in the axial direction of the guide blade 10, all of which branch off from the supply bore 17.
According to FIG. 2, two bores 18 each branch off the supply bore 17 at an axial position, wherein one of the bores 18 has an outlet opening 19 in the region of the pressure side 14 and a second bore 18 has an outlet opening 19 in the region of the suction side 15 of the guide vane 10 each downstream of the flow inlet edge 12 adjacent to the same.
Can be removed, the supply bore 17 also extends through the housing 16, wherein the housing 16, a line 20 attacks, which branches off the downstream of the intercooler and cooled charge air supply holes 17 and thus the Verdichterleitapparat 11.
The supply holes 17 are integrated according to FIG. 2 in the section or region of the guide vanes 10 of the Verdichterleitapparats 11, in which the cross-sectional profile of the vanes 10 has the greatest thickness, in which therefore the distance between the pressure side 14 and suction side 15 is maximum ,
As already mentioned, the outlet openings 19 are positioned adjacent to the flow inlet edge 12 of the respective guide blade 10 downstream of the flow inlet edge 12. In this way it can be ensured that in the region of the outlet openings 19 of the bores 18, the full dynamic pressure prevails and thus the pressure gradient between the pressure prevailing downstream of the charge air cooler pressure and the wall pressure at the outlet openings is sufficient to the combustion air branched off downstream of the charge air cooler via the outlet holes 19th into the combustion air stream.
