The present invention relates to a mechanical clockwork comprising at least one motor member, time indicator means, a winding mechanism and time setting capable of cooperating, through a first gear setting time, with the time indicating means and, through a second winding gear with an element of the drive member, the movement being provided with a mechanism for indicating the reserve of walking comprising at least one indicator member of the power reserve.
In known watch movements provided with an indication of the power reserve, the latter generally cooperates with the cylinder or the wheel of high average or with a finishing train.
When the movement still comprises other modules, the power reserve indication is geometrically remote from the barrel, which requires a large gear train through areas occupied by other elements of the movement. There is therefore an impossibility of providing a mechanism for indicating a traditional power reserve for reasons of space.
The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages and it is characterized for this purpose by the fact that the movement comprises a first gear train connecting one of the mobiles of the first time setting wheel with one of movers of the power reserve indicating mechanism and the interruption means, arranged so as to interrupt the first gear train and stop at least said indicator member during the time setting of the time indicator means .
With these features, it is possible to obtain a power reserve indication, even in the presence of a highly complicated movement with other modules and a large overall size. It is also possible to reduce the number of components constituting the power reserve indication mechanism.
[0006] Favorably, the interruption means comprise a mobile of the first gear train constituted by a wheel and a pinion assembled by means of a shaft and a hollow shaft coaxial engaged one into the other with a grease fitting, the pinion or the wheel being capable of being blocked by the action of a blocker whose movement is controlled by the actuation of a winding stem of the winding and setting mechanism .
These characteristics make it possible to obtain a reliable interruption of the kinematic chain of the first gear train during the time setting of the movement, and this with a reduced number of components.
According to a favorable embodiment, the power reserve indication mechanism comprises a differential whose first input is connected to said first gear train, a second input of which is connected by a second gear train. to one of the mobile of the second winding train, and an output cooperates via a third gear train with said power reserve indicator member.
This provides a simple and reliable construction and a small footprint.
Advantageously, the first gear train comprises a first power reserve wheel meshing with a time-setting reference part of said first time-setting wheel meshing with a timer wheel, this first power reserve wheel being connected via the interruption means to a gear engaged with a ring of the differential constituting said first input.
With these characteristics, we obtain a particularly compact connection between the timer wheel and the power reserve differential, so a very advantageous and reliable construction.
[0012] Favorably, the second gear train comprises a pinion of first winding wheel engaged with a ratchet crown forming part of said second winding gear and secured to a first winding wheel which is engaged with a second winding gear. arming wheel constituting said second differential input.
The armature of the power reserve is thus achieved by a very compact connection between the ratchet and the differential of the power reserve.
Other advantages emerge from the features expressed in the dependent claims and the description of the following exposing the invention in more detail with the aid of drawings which show schematically and by way of example an embodiment.

[0015] With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, the watch movement comprises a drive member in the form of a barrel 10 with a box 11 provided with a toothing 12 and a barrel shaft 14. A barrel spring, not shown, contained in the box 11 has an end secured to the shaft 14 and another end secured to the box 11.
The toothing 12 of the latter is connected in known manner to a roadway 15 (fig.1) by means of cogs, not shown, having a wheel of the center.
The floor 15 carries the minute hand 16 and meshes with the timer wheel 17 integral with the timer pinion 18.
The movement is provided with a mechanism for indicating the power reserve 20 having an indicator member 21 of the power reserve of the cylinder connected, on the one hand, by a first gear train 22 (Fig. 1) to the timer wheel 17 and secondly by a second gear train 23 (Fig. 2) to the barrel shaft 14.
This mechanism for indicating the power reserve 20 has with reference to FIGS. 4, 8 and 9 a differential 25 having a first input 26 for the first gear train 22, a second input 27 for the second gear train 23 and an output 28 connected to a third gear train 30 leading to the indicator organ 21.
The first gear train 22 comprises (FIGS. 1 and 4), connected to a time-setting return 32 engaged with the timer wheel 17, a first power reserve wheel 33, which is in axial connection with a first gear 34 of power reserve meshing with a gear 35 in engagement with a ring gear 36 of the differential 25 constituting said first input 26 of this differential.
The second gear train 23 comprises (FIG 2 and 3), connected to a ratchet 40 wedged on the shaft 14 and meshing with an intermediate ratchet 41 engaged with a ratchet ring 42, a pinion 43 of the first arming wheel secured to the first winding wheel 44 which is engaged with a second winding wheel 45 forming said second input 27 of the differential 25.
The third gear train 30 leading to the indicator member 21 is shown in FIG. 7 and comprises a first indication wheel 50 engaged with an output wheel 51 of the differential and secured to a pinion 52 of the first indication wheel which meshes with a second indication wheel 53 whose pinion 54 cooperates with a third indication wheel 55 integral with a pinion 56 of third indication wheel. The latter drives a fourth indicator wheel 57 mounted freely rotatable on an axis 60 and connected by a friction coupling 58 to a cam 59. This cam is integral with the axis 60 and cooperates with a stop 61. The coupling to friction 58 is constituted by a spring blade 62 inserted between the fourth indicator wheel 57 and the cam 59. The axis 60 is integral with the indicator member 21 here constituted by a needle 63.
The cam 59 is arranged so that the needle 63 indicating the power reserve travels an angular sector of 70 [deg.] At the maximum. A balance spring 66 is mounted on the axis 60 and compensates for any play in the gears.
The differential 25 illustrated more particularly in FIGS. 8 and 9 comprises a central shaft 70 on which are mounted the different elements of the differential. These elements include:
- The second winding wheel 45 forming the second input 27 for the second gear train 23 in engagement with the ratchet 40. This second winding wheel 45 is integral with the pinion 71 of the second winding wheel.
- The ring 36 of the differential constituting the first input 26 for the first gear train 22. It is secured to a satellite support 72 and the central shaft 70. A satellite mobile 73 is rotatably mounted on the support of satellite 72 through a satellite bridge 74 screwed onto the satellite support 72.
The satellite mobile 73 comprises a satellite wheel 75 meshing with the pinion 71 of the second winding wheel and a satellite pinion 76 integral with the satellite wheel 75 and meshing with an output pinion 77 which is secured to the wheel output 51 of the differential 25, the pinion and the output wheel 77 and 51 form an output mobile 78 mounted freely rotating on the central shaft 70.
Thus, the rotation of the barrel 10, respectively of the barrel shaft 14, are reflected on the ring 36, respectively on the second winding wheel 45, and then differentially transmitted to the output mobile 78 and from there on the power reserve indication needle 63 through the third gear train 30.
The movement is further provided with a winding mechanism and time setting 80 (Figures 1and 5).
This mechanism 80 comprises a winding stem 81 carrying a winding pinion 82 and a sliding pinion 83. A pull tab 84 is pivotally mounted about a pivot 85. One end 86 is inserted into a notch of the rod 81, while its other end 87 cooperates with a rocker 88 pivotally mounted about a pivot 89 and subjected to the action of a return spring.
The latch 88 is arranged in a recess of the sliding pinion 83 and cooperates at its free end with a pin 91 of a power reserve blocker 90.
With reference to FIGS. 1 and 10, this blocker 90 is constituted by a lever pivoted about a pivot 92 and comprises a first arm 93 carrying the pin 91 and a second arm 94 provided with a locking tooth 95 intended to cooperate with the teeth of the first power reserve pinion 34 to lock this pinion when setting the time of movement.
The blocker 90 further has a projection 96 serving as a support for a leaf spring 97 for biasing the blocker 90 in its locking position of the first pinion 34 power reserve.
For this first pinion 34 can be blocked, while the first wheel 33 power reserve can turn when setting the time of movement, the first wheel 33 comprises a tube 100 (Fig.11) engaged on a shaft 101 secured to the first pinion 34. The tube 100 is provided with a lantern 102 for obtaining a friction fit of the tube 100 on the shaft 101. The power reserve and its indicator member 21 can thus be blocked during the setting of the movement time so that the power reserve indication is not distorted during this operation. The blocker with its tooth 95 and the lantern 102 thus form means for interrupting the kinematic chain of the first gear train 22.
In the winding position (FIG 1, 2) the winding rod 81 is in a first internal position, the sliding pinion 83 occupies an outer position in which it meshes with the winding pinion 82, the latter is engaged with a crown ratchet gear 105 integral with the crown ratchet 42 for driving the barrel shaft 14 via the intermediate ratchet 41 and the ratchet 40.
In this position, the latch 88 (FIG 1) is in a first retracted position in the direction of the winding pinion 82. Its free end is supported on the pin 91 of the power reserve block 90 to clear the tooth 95 of the latter of the toothing of the power reserve gear 34.
In this winding position, the winding pinion 82, the crown ratchet gear 105, the crown ratchet 42, the intermediate ratchet 41 and the ratchet 40 form a winding gear 110.
The second setting position is illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6. In this position the winding stem 81 is in a second outer position. The pull tab 84 has rotated counterclockwise around pivot 85 and pushes latch 88 to the left in FIG. 5. The latter then urges the sliding pinion 83 to the left in FIG. 5 to engage with a small return 106, the latter meshes with a time setting gear 107 which is integral with the time setting back 32 to perform the time setting by the intermediate of the timer wheel 17.
The small reference 106, the idler gear 107, the time setting reference 32 and the timer wheel 17 form a time setting wheel 111.
In this second position, the blocker 90 is turned in a counterclockwise direction (FIG 5) under the effect of the leaf spring 97 and its tooth 95 cooperates with the toothing of the first power reserve pinion 34 so as to block the power reserve when setting the time of movement (Fig. 10).
To avoid possible play in the gears of the power reserve mechanism, in particular the second gear train 23, the latter is provided with a jumper 108 whose spout cooperates with the toothing of the second wheel winding 45 (Fig. 1).
The other elements of the movement, such as the regulator, the exhaust, the finishing gear, the cage and any additional modules, are known and are not shown in the figures of the drawing.
It is understood that the embodiment described above is not limiting and that it can receive any desirable modifications within the frame as defined by claim 1. In particular, the movement may be equipped with more than one barrel. Indicators of the power reserve could be of another type, for example one or two rotating discs with or without differential inserted. The differential could have another construction, such as two lateral wheels acting on a rotating central portion integral with an output shaft. The interruption means could be constituted differently, for example by means of a gear that can be moved laterally or axially.
The interruption could be arranged at another location between the time setting wheel and the power reserve hand. The workings of the first, second and third gear trains can be designed differently. The first gear train could be engaged with another mobile of the time setting wheel.
