[0017] Gemäss Fig. 1 und 2 weist eine Vorrichtung 1 zum Bohren von Löchern 3 in eine Glasplatte gemäss dieser Ausführungsform folgende Teile auf: einen Bohrkopf (Locherzeugungskopf) 4 zum Ausarbeiten von Durchgangslöchern 3, die in Fig. 3 und 4 gezeigt sind, an den Stellen P1 und P2 einer Glasplatte 2; einen Arbeitstisch 9 mit einer Trägerfläche 5, die eine Form aufweist, welche gleichzeitig benachbarte Bereiche der Stellen P1 und P2 der Glasplatte 2 unterstützt, bei denen Durchgangslöcher 3 vom Bohrkopf 4 erzeugt werden sollen;
und Verschwenkmittel 6 zum Verschwenken der Trägerfläche 5 in einer Richtung R bezüglich des Bohrkopfes 4, so dass die Stelle P2 der Glasplatte 2 in eine Stellung gelangt, in der die Bildung des Durchgangsloches 3 durch den Bohrkopf 4 ermöglicht wird. Die Vorrichtung 1 zum Bohren von Löchern in eine Glasplatte weist weiterhin Bewegungsmittel 7 auf, die eine Relativbewegung des Bohrkopfes 4 in X-Richtung parallel zur oberen Fläche 2a der Glasplatte 2 und in einer Richtung Y senkrecht zur X-Richtung bezüglich der Glasplatte 2 auf der Trägerfläche 5 gestatten;
[0018] Der Bohrkopf 4 weist eine erste Einrichtung 12 zur Bildung einer Vertiefung auf, die in der Lage ist, in der oberen Fläche 2a der Glasplatte 2 eine Vertiefung 11 anzubringen, die in Fig. 5 gezeigt ist; eine zweite Einrichtung zur Bildung einer Vertiefung, die eine Vertiefung 13 in der unteren Fläche 2b der Glasplatte 2 anbringen kann, wie in Fig. 5 gezeigt ist;
[0020] Die Einrichtung 23 zur Bewegung des Vertiefungsbohrers, die gleich wie die Einrichtung 33 zur Bewegung des Abschrägungsbohrers konstruiert ist, welche weiter unten beschrieben wird, weist einen Elektromotor 25 auf, der an einem beweglichen Träger 76 befestigt ist; weiterhin zwei Führungsschienen 26, die am beweglichen Träger 76 derart angebracht sind, dass sie sich in Z-Richtung und parallel zueinander erstrecken; eine (nicht gezeigte) Gewindespindel, die drehbar am beweglichen Träger 76 angebracht ist und an einem Ende mit dem Elektromotor 25 verbunden ist und sich in Z-Richtung erstreckt; eine (nicht dargestellte) Mutter, die auf diese Gewindespindel aufgeschraubt ist;
[0026] Der Arbeitstisch 9 enthält eine Trägerplatte 44 zum Unterstützen der Glasplatte 2, indem er gegen deren untere Fläche 2b drückt; eine zylindrische Säule 45, die auf einer Grundplatte 43 montiert ist und sich in der Richtung R mit Hilfe der Verschwenkmittel 6 schwenken lassen kann, wobei ein etwa mittiger Bereich der Trägerplatte 44 am oberen Ende der zylindrischen Säule 45 befestigt ist;
[0030] Die Einrichtung 61 zur Bewegung in X-Richtung weist einen Elektromotor 65 auf, welcher an einem Rahmen 64 befestigt ist; zwei Führungsschienen 66, die an einer unteren Fläche des Rahmens 64 angebracht sind und sich in X-Richtung sowie parallel zueinander erstrecken; einen beweglichen Träger 67, der auf den Führungsschienen 66 gleitet und in X-Richtung bewegbar ist; eine Mutter 68, die an einer oberen Fläche des beweglichen Trägers 67 angebracht ist;
[0031] Die Einrichtung 62 zur Bewegung in Y-Richtung enthält einen Elektromotor 73; eine Gewindespindel 74, deren eines Ende an einer Abtriebswelle des Elektromotors 73 befestigt ist und die sich in Y-Richtung erstreckt; eine Mutter 75, die auf die Gewindespindel 74 aufgeschraubt ist und an der Unterfläche des beweglichen Trägers 67 befestigt ist; den beweglichen Träger 76, auf dem die Gewindespindel 74 drehbar gelagert ist und auf dem der Elektromotor 73 angebracht ist;
[0032] Die Transporteinrichtung 8 besitzt einen Zufuhrtisch 100 zur Unterstützung der Glasplatte 2, die auf den Unterstützungstisch zu überführen ist und in welcher Durchgangslöcher 3 anzubringen sind; sowie einen Ablagetisch 101 zum Unterstützen der Glasplatte 2, die vom Arbeitstisch 9 abzunehmen ist und in welcher die Durchgangslöcher 3 angebracht worden sind; zwei Hubeinrichtungen 81 zum Anheben der Glasplatte 2;
[0037] Die Einrichtung 82 zum Bewegen der Glasplatte weist einen Elektromotor 91 auf, der an einem Rahmen 90 angebracht ist; zwei Führungsschienen 92, die am Rahmen 90 derart befestigt sind, dass sie sich in X-Richtung sowie parallel zueinander erstrecken; einen beweglichen Träger 93, der in den Führungsschienen 92 in X-Richtung beweglich ist; eine Mutter 94, welche am beweglichen Träger 93 befestigt ist;
Background of the invention
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to a device for drilling holes in a glass plate, in particular for producing a plurality of holes (including recesses and through holes) in a glass plate for use, for example, in a window of a motor vehicle.
Description of the Prior Art
In this type of device for producing holes in glass plates, a narrow area is supported approximately in the center of a glass plate to provide a large area of the glass plate in which holes can be drilled. The vicinity of a predetermined location where the supported glass plate is to be drilled is locally tautened and held (clamped).
Then, a hole is drilled at the aforementioned location of this glass plate using a boring tool (see JP-A-2-88109).
Since in the apparatus just described for drilling holes in a glass plate, only a narrow range of the glass plate is supported by the drilling table, it is necessary to provide separate clamping devices, such as those described above, to a bending of the glass plate avoid which occurs when drilling with the drilling tool. Therefore, the structure of the drilling apparatus for drilling holes in a glass plate becomes complicated.
In addition, it is difficult to reduce the manufacturing cost of the device for drilling holes in a glass plate, and the periodic maintenance of the device may also lead to difficulties.
In addition, the number of individual steps for drilling holes in the glass plate increases in the above-described apparatus for drilling holes in a glass plate, since the glass plate is stressed by the clamping means and held before the holes by means of the drilling device in the Glass plate can be drilled.
Accordingly, it is difficult to carry out the drilling of the holes in the glass plate in a short time by reducing the steps required to drill the holes in the glass plate.
Summary of the invention
The present invention has been developed in consideration of the above-described aspects, and its object is to provide a device for producing holes in a glass plate, which make it possible to drill holes accurately, without the glass plate can bend , and which make it possible to reduce the manufacturing costs by a simple construction, to simplify maintenance and to carry out the drilling of holes in a short time.
The inventive device for drilling holes in a glass plate according to a first aspect of the invention comprises the following components:
a hole producing head for forming depressions and / or through holes in a glass plate; a support surface for concurrently supporting adjacent portions of a plurality of locations of the glass plate where the recesses and / or through holes are to be created; and pivoting means for pivoting said support surface such that the locations of the glass plate are brought into positions enabling the production of the recesses and / or through-holes through the hole-forming head.
The device for drilling holes in a glass plate according to the invention, since the arrangement described above is provided, allows accurate drilling of holes (i.e.
the formation of the recesses and / or through-holes) without bending the glass sheet by concurrently supporting adjacent portions of a plurality of locations of the glass sheet by the support surface. The device itself may be of simple construction and it is no longer necessary to provide separate means for locating the adjacent areas of the locations where the glass plate is drilled. The manufacturing costs can therefore be reduced, and the periodic maintenance is facilitated.
It is possible to omit the step of locating the adjacent portions of those locations of the glass plate where it is to be drilled, so that drilling of the holes in the glass plate can be performed in a short time.
According to another aspect of the invention, in the apparatus for drilling holes in a glass plate, the shape of the peripheral edges of the support surface is similar to that of the peripheral edges of the glass plate.
According to another aspect of the invention, in the device for drilling holes in a glass plate, the peripheral edges of the support surface are shaped
that they run at a predetermined distance from the peripheral edges of the glass plate.
According to a further aspect of the invention of the device for drilling holes in a glass plate, the peripheral edges of the support surface have a shape that continuously supports, after the layer, the edge regions of the glass plate and their adjacent regions along the peripheral edge of the glass plate.
According to another aspect of the invention, the apparatus for drilling holes in a glass plate further comprises moving means for moving the drill head in a direction parallel to a surface of the glass plate opposite to the glass plate lying on the support surface.
According to a further aspect of the device for drilling holes in a glass plate, the drill head has a first device for forming a depression in one
Surface of the glass plate and a second means for forming a second recess in the other surface of the glass plate, said latter recess is in communication with the recess of the first surface of the glass plate.
According to another aspect of the invention of the device for drilling holes in a glass plate, the drill head has a first edge breaking device for chamfering an edge of an opening of the recess, which has been cut in a surface of the glass plate, and a second means for Breaking edges for chamfering an edge of an opening of the recess cut into the other surface of the glass plate.
According to the invention, a device for drilling holes in a glass plate has been created, which makes it possible to drill the holes with precision,
without the glass plate being able to sag and allowing the manufacturing cost to be reduced due to a simple construction, the maintenance work being facilitated and the holes drilled in a short time.
In the following, a detailed description of an example for carrying out the invention is given, reference being made to a preferred embodiment, which is illustrated in the drawings. It should be emphasized that the invention is not limited to such an embodiment.

The first means 12 for generating the recess comprises a drill 21 for forming the recess 11, which operates against the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2; a spindle motor 22 for rotationally driving the drill 21 and means 23 for moving the recess drill 21 in the Z direction perpendicular to the X direction and to the Y direction relative to the glass plate 2 located on the support surface 5. The recess drill 21 is fixed to one end of the salient output shaft of the spindle motor 22.
It should be noted that the recess drill 21 is arranged so as to oppose a recess drill 21a of the recess-forming means 14 in the Z direction.
The means for moving the recessed drill, which is constructed the same as the device for moving the chamfering drill, which will be described below, has an electric motor 25 which is fixed to a movable support 76; a pair of guide rails 26 attached to the movable support 76 so as to extend in the Z direction and in parallel with each other; a threaded spindle (not shown) rotatably mounted on the movable support 76 and connected at one end to the electric motor 25 and extending in the Z direction; a (not shown) nut which is screwed onto this threaded spindle;
and a movable bracket 27 to which this nut is fixed and slides on the guide rails 26. The spindle motor 22 is fixed to the movable carrier 27.

The means 12 for forming the recess is thereby made to produce the recess 11 in the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2 by means of the recessed drill 21, with such a depth that a crack, breakage or similar defects in the lower Surface 2b of the glass plate 2 can not occur.
It should be emphasized that the through hole 3 consists of the recess 11 obtained from the means for forming the recess 12 and the recess 13 which is formed by the means 14 for forming the recess such that this recess with the Well 11 communicates.
The third chamfering means 17 disposed adjacent to the first chamfering means 12 has a chamfering drill 31 for chamfering the edge 16 of the opening 15 of the recess 11 in the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2 and means 33 for moving the bevel drill in the Z direction.
It is to be emphasized that the bevel drill 31 is arranged so as to face in the Z direction a bevel drill 31 a of the fourth chamfering device 20.
The chamfering drill means 33 comprises an electric motor 35 fixed to the movable support 76; two guide rails 36 attached to the movable support 76 so as to extend in the Z direction and in parallel with each other; a threaded spindle (not shown) rotatably supported on the movable carrier 76, connected to one end on the electric motor 35 and extending in the Z direction; a nut (not shown) screwed onto this threaded spindle; and a movable bracket 37 to which this nut is fixed and slides on the guide rails 36.
The spindle motor 32 is fixedly connected to the movable carrier 37.
While the chamfering drill 31 of the third means 17 for chamfering is rotated by the rotation of the output shaft of the spindle motor 32, the movable support 37, the movable carrier mounted spindle motor 32 and the chamfering drill 31 move with one end of the Output shaft of the spindle motor 32 is connected, in the Z direction due to the rotation of the output shaft of the electric motor 35th
The chamfering device 17 is adapted to bevel by means of the chamfering drill 31 the edge 16 of the opening 15 of the recess 11, which was generated by the recess drill 21.
The recess drill 21 and the bevel drill 31 are preferably made of hollow or compact drill bits or similar parts, which are equipped with abrasive grains of diamond.
The work table 9 includes a support plate 44 for supporting the glass plate 2 by pressing against the lower surface 2b thereof; a cylindrical column 45 which is mounted on a base plate 43 and can pivot in the direction R by means of the pivoting means 6, wherein an approximately central portion of the support plate 44 is fixed to the upper end of the cylindrical column 45;
and a vacuum unit, not shown, with which the lower surface 2b of the glass plate 2 can be firmly sucked to the support plate 44. The arrangement made is such that this vacuum unit sucks in its operation, the lower surface 2b of the glass plate 2 against the support plate 44 under a vacuum such that the glass plate 2 firmly rests against the support plate 44.
The support plate 44 has a plate-shaped main body 41, wherein a suction pad 42 is located on the upper surface of the plate-shaped main body 41 and adapted to suck the lower surface 2b of the glass plate 2 on the above-mentioned support surface 5, and a suction opening in the suction pad 42. The carrier plate 44 is pivotally mounted relative to the base plate 43 in the direction R, by means of the column 45 and the pivoting means. 6
The shape of the peripheral edges of the plate-shaped main body 41 and the suction pad 42 is adapted to the shape of the circumference of the glass plate 2 so that the entire periphery on the periphery of the support surface 5 continuously supports the adjacent portions of the entire peripheral edge of the glass plate 2 along the entire peripheral edges of the glass plate 2 , The peripheral edges of the suction pad 42 are shaped to be a predetermined distance away from the peripheral edges of the glass plate 2.
It is to be noted that the locations P1 and P2 are closer to the peripheral edges of the glass plate 2 than the peripheral edges of the plate-shaped main body 41 and the suction pad 42.
The pivot means 6 comprise an electric motor accommodated in a housing 51 and a rotary transmission gear for transmitting the rotation of an output shaft of the electric motor to the column 45.

The threaded spindle 74 is rotated by the rotation of an output shaft of the electric motor 73 in rotation. This rotation causes the threaded spindle 74 to move relative to the nut 75 in the Y direction, this nut 75 being screwed onto the threaded spindle 74 and the movable support 67 being fixedly connected to the nut.
At the same time, the movable support 76, on which the threaded spindle 74 is rotatably mounted, is displaced in the Y direction, while being guided by the guide rails 77.
The transport device 8 has a feed table 100 for supporting the glass plate 2 to be transferred to the support table and in which through holes 3 are to be mounted; and a tray table 101 for supporting the glass plate 2 to be removed from the work table 9 and in which the through holes 3 have been mounted; two lifting devices 81 for lifting the glass plate 2;

which was previously saved.
When drilling is performed on the glass plate 2 by the hole drilling apparatus 1 in a glass plate according to this embodiment, the glass plate 2 placed on the feed table 100 and in which the through holes 3 are to be bored is firstly prepared , lifted by the lifting device 81. The raised glass plate 2 is moved by the movement device 82 in the X direction and brought over the work table 9, and then the glass plate 2 is lowered by the lifting device and placed on the support surface 5 of the suction pad 42. The lower surface 2b of the stored glass plate 2 is sucked via the suction port by operation of the vacuum suction unit and held on the suction pad 42, whereby the glass plate 2 is supported.
Then, the drill head 4 is displaced in the X direction and Y direction relative to the glass plate 2 above the support surface 5 by means of the moving means 7 such that the recess drill 21 rotated by the spindle motor projects above the point P1 in the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2, and the recess drill 21a, which is rotated by the spindle motor 22a, is located below the point P1 in the lower surface 2b of the glass plate 2. The indentation drill 21 is then lowered by the auger movement means 23 and impinges on the location P1 in the top surface 2a of the glass plate 2 and works out the recess 11 with such depth that no crack or breakage or similar damage occurs the lower surface 2b enters.
Then, the recessed drill 21 is lifted by the recessed drill moving means 23 and exits the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2. Now, the recessed drill 21a is lifted by the recessed drill moving means 23a and abuts against the lower surface 2b of the glass plate 2 at the Position P1, and the drill works out the recess 13, which communicates with the recess 11 in connection.
Subsequently, the recess drill 21 is lowered by the means 23a for movement of the recessed drill and moves away from the lower surface 2b of the glass plate. 2
Then, the recess forming means 12 and 14 and the chamfering means 17 and 20 are simultaneously moved by the moving means 7 such that the recess drill 21 contacts the recess 11 at the position P1 and the recess drill 21a from the recess 13 the point P1, and that the chamfering drill 31 above the recess 11 at the point P1 and the chamfering drill 31a are located below the recess 13 at the point P1. Now the chamfering drill 31, which is above the recess 11, lowered by the device 33 for movement of the chamfering drill and strikes the edge 16 of the opening 15 of the recess 11 at the point P1 of the glass plate 2 and beveled from this edge 16.

Then, the chamfering drill 31a is lifted by the chamfering device moving means 33a and hits the edge 19 of the opening 18 of the recess 13 at the position P1 of the glass plate 2, and the drill bit chops the rim 19. *** "
Then, the chamfering drill 31a is lowered by the chamfering device moving means 33a and moves away from the edge 19 of the glass plate 2.
Having thus prepared the through-hole 3 at the location P1, the moving means 7 displace the drill head 4 to another location P1, if any, to provide the cavity drills 21 and 21a above and below the other location P1 bring, and the above-described operation is carried out in a similar manner, whereby at the other point P1 also a through hole 3 is made.
Then, the support surface of the suction pad 42, which carries the glass plate 2, together with the glass plate in which the through hole 3 was generated, which is formed by the recesses 11 and 13 and the edges 16 and 19 were bevelled,
pivoted from the point P1 by a desired angle in the direction R together with the column 45 by means of the mechanism for transmitting the rotation by the operation of the electric motor of the pivoting means 6, so that the state shown in Fig. 3 assumes that shown in Fig. 4 is shown. At the same time, the recessed drills 21 and 21a are displaced in the X and Y directions by the moving means 7 to move the indentation drill above the position P2 in the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2 and the recessed drill 21a below the position P2 in the lower surface 2b of FIG To bring glass plate 2.
The indentation drill 21 is then lowered by the auger movement means 23 and abuts against the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2 at the point P2 until the indentation 11 is formed with a depth at which a crack, breakage or the like occurs Damage to the side of the lower surface 2b can not occur. Subsequently, the recessed drill 21 is lifted from the auger moving device 23 and moves away from the upper surface 2a of the glass plate 2. Thereafter, the recessed drill 21a is lifted by the recessed drill moving device 23a and hits the lower surface at the position P2 2b of the glass plate 2 until the recess 13 is worked out, which is in communication with the recess 11.
Subsequently, the recessed drill 21a is lowered by the recessed drill moving means 23a, and moves away from the lower surface 2b of the glass plate 2. Then, the recesses forming means 12 and 14 and the chamfering means 17 and 20 are moved by the moving means 7 at the same time moves so that the recess drill 21 are removed at the point P2 above the recess 11 and the recessed drill 21a at the point P2 from the recess 13, and that the chamfering drill 31 above the recess 11 at the point P2 and the bevel drill 31a are below the recess 13 at the point P2.
The chamfering drill 31, which is located above the depression 11, is lowered by the chamfering device 33 and strikes the edge 16 of the opening 15 of the depression 11 at the point P2 of the glass plate 2 and obliges this edge 16. Then, the chamfering drill 31 is lifted by the chamfering device 33 and moves away from the edge 16 of the glass plate 2. Then, the chamfering drill 31a is lifted by the chamfering device 33a and hits the edge 19 of the opening 18 of the recess 13. *** " at the point P2 of the glass plate 2 and beveled from this edge 19.
Then, the chamfering drill 31a is lowered by the chamfering device moving means 33a and moves away from the edge 19 of the glass plate 2.
Now, the operation of the vacuum suction device of the work table 9 is stopped, so that the support surface 5 no longer holds the glass plate in which the through holes 3 have been attached at the positions P1 and P2. The released glass plate 2, which is still on the support surface 5, is lifted by the lifting device 81, and the raised glass plate 2 is moved in the X direction by the means 82 for moving the glass plate and stored on the storage table 101. For this purpose, the glass plate 2 is lowered by the lifting device 81 and placed on the storage table 101. In this way, the glass plate 2 with the through holes 3 formed therein is moved away from the support surface 5.
It should be added that the bevels of the edges 16 and 19 of the chamfering devices 17 and 20 can be performed simultaneously. By using the above-described apparatus 1 for drilling holes in a glass plate, there is provided a support surface 5 whose size is such as to simultaneously support the adjacent portions of the locations P1 and P2 of the glass plate 2. By the support of the glass plate 2 by the support surface 5, it is possible to make a precise hole drilling (the formation of the recesses 11 and 13 and / or the through-holes 3) without the glass plate 2 bending.
The apparatus 1 for drilling holes in a glass plate, in turn, can be easily constructed by eliminating the need to provide means for locating the glass plate 2 (staples or the like) locally, previously required in addition to the work table 9 for the glass plate 2. The manufacturing cost of the device 1 for drilling holes in a glass plate can thereby be greatly reduced, and the periodic maintenance can be carried out more easily. The step of locally locating the adjacent portions of the locations P1 or P2 in the glass plate 2 in addition to supporting the glass plate 2 from the work table 9 may be omitted, so that holes can be bored in the glass plate in a shorter time.
In addition, a pivoting means 6 is provided, whereby the support surface 5 together with the glass plate 2, which is located on the support surface 5 and in which the through holes 3 were mounted at the point P1 from the drill head 4, is pivoted in the direction R with respect to the drill head 4, such that the position P2 of the glass plate 2 is brought into a position which allows the through-hole 3 to be generated by the drill head 4.
It is therefore possible to eliminate the mutual interference of the work table 9, the lifting device 81 and similar parts by the drill head 4, and you can drill holes in desired locations anywhere on the peripheral edges of the glass plate 2, by only once the transport of the glass plate 2 through the means of transport 8 is required.
It should be noted that the movement means 7 may be formed so that each means 12 for forming the depression and each means 17 for chamfering the edges and also the means 14 for forming the depression and the means 20 for chamfering the edges with X-direction movement means and Y-direction movement means which are equivalent to X-direction movement means 61 and Y-direction movement means 62,
such that the depression-forming means 12 and the edge-chamfering means 17 on the upper surface 2a and also the depression-forming means 14 and the chamfering means 20 on the lower surface 2b are individually in the X-direction and Y direction can be moved.
