Description

The invention relates to antenna arrangements of writing readers, with which contactless transponder can be described and / or read within a certain distance.
Transponder here is a data carrier with an electrically insulating body, preferably with a plastic body understood, which contains at least one chip, which is electrically connected to at least one coil or an antenna.
Preferred applications for this purpose are contactless smart cards, contactless labels and contactless coin-shaped data carriers.
The location or the course of the read-write distance limit is dependent on the Transponderantennenausführung. With small antennas only short read distances can be achieved.
To increase the read-write distance, the use of large antennas is required, which leads to undesirable sizes of the transponder.
In the prior art, it is known to arrange additional coils to increase the read-write distance on the transponder.
In DE 19 703 029 an arrangement is described in which a transponder device has a semiconductor chip with a connected antenna coil and a transponder additionally arranged coupling coil, wherein the coupling coil of a coupling element, d. H. a coil portion communicating with the antenna coil and a larger antenna coupling coil.
A disadvantage of this arrangement is that the transponder assembly is expensive and the transponder volume is increased compared to transponders with only one antenna coil.
A further disadvantage is that depending on the size and design of the antenna coil write reading distance is smaller for transponders with coupling element and second antenna coil because of the transmission losses between the transponder and coupling element as in transponders with chip and in terms of area of the second antenna coil of the same size antenna coil.
DE 4 423 066 A1 discloses an arrangement in which a module which can be plugged onto the processor and memory unit of the data carrier and which realizes the read / write contact with the stationary read / write unit receives the data and the energy and passes over plug contacts, close capacitive or inductive coupling to the correspondingly designed processor and memory unit of the data carrier.
The disadvantage is that this intermediate module always has to be in close coupling with the actual transponder, since the production of the module is expensive and in the module itself energy of the read / write station is consumed.
Furthermore, from DE 19 542 900 Al an arrangement for increasing the read / write range of a contactless data carrier is known in which at least one open auxiliary coil is mounted on the disk parallel to the plane of the antenna coil. A disadvantage of this arrangement is that the additional coil is the same size or only slightly larger than the data carrier coil and is fixed to her and that the auxiliary coil is not tuned to the resonant frequency of the read / write.
Thus, only a small read / write range increase compared to the actual contactless data carrier can be achieved by this arrangement.
The invention has for its object to provide an antenna arrangement of the type mentioned, with the increased the read-write distance and the dependence of the write-reading distance can be reduced by the angular position between transponder antennas and the antenna of the read-only reader.
According to the invention, the solution of the problem with the characterizing features of claim 1 succeeds.
Advantageous embodiments of the inventive arrangement of the inventive method are given in the dependent claims.
With the inventive arrangement in particular the following advantages are achieved:
1. :
An increase in the read-write range with the same structure and the same performance of the read-write device and the read-write antenna.
2.: An enlargement of the area of the writing reading field.
3. The change in the area of the write-read antenna array or the creation of multiple directions of the read-write antenna array
It is therefore well suited for use in control or passage devices as well as in sorting device for persons or vehicles, goods and goods whose transponder identified and / or described their transponder memory contents, or devalued or otherwise changed.
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment.
In the accompanying drawings show:
1a: the side view of a read-write antenna and two arranged in the same plane blind antennas,
FIG. 1b shows the antennas according to FIG. 1a in plan view, FIG.
Fig. 2: a parallel read-write and a blind antenna in side view and
3 shows the side view of an arrangement with a read-write antenna and two dummy antennas arranged in an isosceles triangle.
In the arrangement shown in Fig. 1a, the read-write antenna 1 is connected via the antenna line 2 to the read-write station 3. The writing reading station 3 has at least one transmitting and receiving unit. It is also connected to not shown here power supply and evaluation or control units.
In addition to the read-write antenna 1 there are two blind antennas 4, which are arranged in the same plane and in the example shown have the same size and dimension as the read-write antenna 1. The dummy antennas 4 are coupled to the read-write antenna 1 via the electromagnetic field and in turn form electromagnetic fields, whereby the write-reading distance limit 5 of the read-write antenna 1 is considerably widened toward both sides. In this case, the dummy antenna 4 consists of the antenna winding 9 and capacitor elements 8 connected in parallel and / or in series with it.
As can be seen from Fig. 1 b, the dummy antennas 4 need not be arranged exclusively linearly to the read-write antenna 1, but may be depending on the application target in any arrangement around the read-write antenna 1 around.
In the example shown, the antennas 1 and 4 are each on an antenna support 7, the actual antenna consists of an antenna winding 9 and in series and / or parallel capacitors 8. It is required, the antennas 1 and 4 to the same or approximately to set the same resonant frequencies. Antenna support 7 for a read-write antenna 1 may be, for example, a wall or a support surface used in a wall slot, as an antenna support 7 for a blind antenna 4 may, for. B. serve a glass.
In Fig. 2, read-write antenna 1 and dummy antenna 4 are arranged in parallel with each other. Overall, the antenna fields span a greater read-write distance between the antennas 1 and 4 than the one that would result if only the read-write antenna 1 were used.
The distance limit 5 originally set by the read-write antenna 1 is thereby considerably shifted behind the dummy antenna 4. Both between and on both sides of the antennas 1 and 4 transponder 6 can be read or written.
This makes it possible that a transponder 6 or a person wearing a transponder 6 is to be reliably identified even in relatively wide passages without a second write-reading antenna 1 must be connected and operated with the first write-reading antenna 1 in the multiplex method.
The dummy antenna 4 can also be attached to transportable objects, containers or devices, wherein the dummy antenna 4 is parallel to the read / write antenna 1 even in the case of the intended read / write operation or in an angle permissible for the read / write operation.
Within the area spanned by the dummy antenna 1, the transponder 6 can be located at least temporarily.
For this purpose, for example, the container wall made of electrically non-conductive materials (plastic, paper, cardboard, stone, ceramic) and carry the blind antenna 4. The transponder 6 is mounted in the container use case within the blind antenna 4.
Further, it is possible that the dummy antenna 4 is located on a car window.
The driver holds the transponder 6 to the blind antenna 4 and thus increases the read / write distance to the access system, a terminal with a read-write antenna 1.
In contrast, in conventional arrangements, in particular in the vicinity of the read-write distance limit 5, the transponders 6 can only be read or written safely if the surface normals of the transponders 6 (or the antenna of the transponder 6) are directed in the direction of the center of the read-write antenna 1.
In the antenna arrangement shown in Fig. 3, two dummy antennas 4 and a read-write antenna 1 are arranged in the form of an isosceles triangle, whereby a strong penetration of the antenna fields of all antennas is achieved.
Transponder 6, which are located inside the triangle spanned by the antennas 1 and 4, can take any position without the risk of unreadability or the Nichtbeschreibbarkeit.
Due to the convenient arrangement of a plurality of sizes in relation to the read-write antenna 1 small blind antennas 4, which are arranged areally, it is possible, for example, by simple means to provide completely provided with contactless labels goods in shopping carts or transponder 6 generally to read or . to describe.
In this case, the dummy antennas 4 may be mounted in different positions and angles to the read-write antenna 1.
