State of the art
The invention is based on a handheld power tool of the type defined in the preamble of claim 1.
In the case of such a hand-held power tool, the tool can be changed very quickly and with one-hand operation. If the quick-action chuck is tool-free, the tool ejector ensures that the quick-action chuck is kept open automatically, so that a new tool can be inserted without any previous handling of the quick-action chuck and without the use of tools. By inserting the tool shank into the quick-action chuck, the tool ejector is moved against the force of an ejection spring and thus releases the quick-action chuck for automatically locking the tool. As soon as the tool ejector has been moved out of its locked position, the tensioned torsion spring rotates the clamping sleeve with the clamping disc, and the tool is clamped between the drive member and the clamping disc.
If the tool is to be changed again, the adapter sleeve must be turned by hand against the force of the torsion spring. This releases the tool, and the tool ejector loaded by the ejection spring pushes the tool out of the chuck and finally returns to its locking position, in which the quick-action chuck is kept open.
In order to implement such a quick-action chuck for a hand-held jigsaw, it has already been proposed to fix the tensioning disk provided with a slot opening to a cap which is rotatably held on an annular flange at the free end of a hollow cylindrical lifting rod which forms the drive member. The assembly of cap and tensioning disc is enclosed by a collar and connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner. The torsion spring engages the collar on the one hand and the lifting rod on the other. The tension disc has two ramps on the disc side facing the end of the lifting rod, which, when the collar with the unit consisting of cap and clamping disc rotates, run onto the lower edge of the clamping tabs on the saw blade and thus clamp the saw blade, which is supported on the front side of the lifting rod, against the end of the lifting rod.
To center the saw blade, the ring-shaped lifting rod end is provided with a diametrical, V-shaped groove, into which the clamping tabs on the saw blade shaft are pressed. The tool ejector, which also serves to keep the quick-action chuck open, is guided in the interior of the lifting rod in vertical grooves in the inner wall of the rod, so that it is prevented from rotating. At the lower end of the tool ejector, a pair of legs is formed in such a way that the legs are aligned with locking holes in the tensioning disc in the open position of the quick-action chuck and engage in the end face under the action of an ejection spring, thus preventing the tensioning disc from rotating due to the tensioned torsion spring.
Advantages of the invention
The hand tool according to the invention with the features of claim 1 has the advantage that the tool is not only clamped and centered in the axial direction, but also clamped and centered laterally. This ensures that the tool sits absolutely correctly in the quick-change chuck, and that the tool cannot be twisted while working, even when considerable transverse moments occur. When the tool is designed as a saw blade for a hand-held jigsaw, the centering is further improved in that V-shaped grooves are provided both in the front end of the drive element designed as a hollow cylindrical lifting rod and in the clamping jaws, so that even saw blades of different thicknesses are centered very well in the quick-action chuck ,
Advantageous further developments and improvements of the hand-held power tool specified in claim 1 are possible through the measures listed in the further claims.

Description of the embodiment
The hand-held jigsaw shown schematically in FIG. 1 as an example of a hand-held power tool has a machine housing 10 on which a handle 11 for guiding the hand-held jigsaw is formed, the hand-held jigsaw being placed on a workpiece to be sawed with a support plate 12. On the underside of the handle 11 is a switch button 13 which interacts with an electrical switch arranged in the circuit of an electric motor. The electric motor accommodated in the machine housing 10 drives a lifting rod 14, which is axially displaceably guided in the machine housing 10, for a reciprocating lifting movement via a gear mechanism containing an eccentric drive. A quick-action chuck 15 for clamping a saw blade 16 is arranged on the free end of the lifting rod 14 protruding from the machine housing 10.
As can be seen from the enlarged illustration of FIGS. 2 and 3, the saw blade 16 has two clamping tabs 162, 163 projecting transversely from the saw blade shaft 161 for clamping the saw blade 16 in the quick-action chuck 15.
The quick-action chuck 15 is designed in such a way that the saw blade 16 can be inserted into the quick-action chuck 15 without any additional handle or additional aids, and the saw blade 16 is automatically tightened after the saw blade 16 has been inserted. To change the saw blade 16, the quick-action chuck 15 is to be operated with one hand, the saw blade 16 being automatically ejected and the quick-action chuck 15 being held in its open position until a new saw blade is reinserted.
Specifically, the quick-action chuck 15 has a guide sleeve 17, a clamping sleeve 18, a torsion spring 19, two identically designed clamping jaws 20, 21, an ejector 22 and an ejection spring 23. The guide sleeve 19 is pushed onto the end of the hollow cylindrical lifting rod 14 and firmly connected to it, e.g. by welding or soldering. The clamping sleeve 28 is rotatably and axially immovably fixed on the guide sleeve 17 by means of an explosive or expanding ring 24. The expansion ring 24 is held in a circumferential groove 35 machined into the circumference of the guide sleeve 17. The torsion spring 19 engages on the one hand on the clamping sleeve 18 and on the other hand on the guide rod 14.
The clamping jaws 20, 21, which are shown in perspective in FIG. 2, are arranged diametrically opposite one another and received radially displaceably in the guide sleeve 17. They are coupled to the clamping sleeve 18 in such a way that, when the clamping sleeve 18 rotates, they execute a radial displacement movement in the guide sleeve 17 which is directed towards or away from one another, depending on whether the clamping sleeve 18 is rotated in one or the other direction of rotation , For coupling the clamping jaws 20, 21 to the clamping sleeve 18, each clamping jaw 20 or 21 carries a transversely projecting, axially extending guide pin 25, and in the clamping sleeve 18 two diametrically opposed, arcuate slot recesses 26, 27 are incorporated, into which the guide pins Protrude 25.
The depth of the slot recesses 26, 27 is greater than the axial length of the guide pins 25, and the slot width is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the guide pins 25. The two slot recesses 26, 27 are arranged so that their two centers of curvature 28, 29 (i.e. the Centers of their radii of curvature) are offset in opposite directions by an equal eccentricity measure "e" from the diameter line of the clamping sleeve 18 (FIG. 5). If the clamping sleeve 18 is moved clockwise in FIG. 5, the clamping jaws 20, 21 move radially outwards, if the clamping sleeve 18 is moved counterclockwise, the clamping jaws 20, 21 move towards one another.
The clamping jaws 20, 21 each have a fork-shaped opening 30 (FIG. 4), the opening width of which is dimensioned slightly larger than the shank thickness of the thickest saw blade 16 intended for use in the quick-action chuck 15. In the fork base of each opening 30 a V-shaped groove 31 is introduced, the groove flanks 311 and 312 of the upper side of the clamping jaw 20 and 21 facing the lifting rod 14 extend obliquely downward toward the fork opening 30. A similar V-shaped groove 32 is worked diametrically into the annular end face of the lifting rod 14 facing the clamping jaws 20, 21 (FIG. 2). The two fork-shaped openings 30 in the two clamping jaws 20, 21 diametrically opposite one another in the guide sleeve 17 form a slot-like insertion opening for inserting the saw blade shank 161.
When the quick-action chuck 15 is open, i.e. when the two clamping jaws 20, 21 are at the greatest distance from one another by the clamping sleeve 18, the length of the insertion opening is greater than the sum of the width of the saw blade shaft 161 and the height of the two clamping tabs 162 and which protrude from the saw blade shaft 161 163. By turning the clamping sleeve 18, the length of the insertion opening is shortened to the width of the saw blade shaft 161. The clear inner diameter of the lifting rod 14 is made slightly larger than the width of the saw blade shaft 161, so that the inner wall of the lifting rod 14 also assumes a guiding function for the saw blade shaft 161.
The ejector 22 loaded by the ejector spring 23 is guided axially displaceably in the interior of the lifting rod 14, the ejector spring 23 designed as a compression spring being supported on the one hand on the end face of the ejector 22 and on the other hand in the lifting rod 14. When the quick-action chuck 15 is open, the ejector 22 dips between the two clamping jaws 20, 21 and is supported axially on a stop formed in the inside of the guide sleeve 17. The ejector 22 has a diametrical, slot-shaped recess 33 which is congruent with the insertion opening formed by the openings 30 of the two clamping jaws 20, 21 and in the bottom of which a V-shaped groove 34 is formed for receiving the front end of the saw blade shaft 161.
The operation of the quick chuck 15 described above is as follows:
The saw blade 16 is inserted with its saw blade shank 161 with the quick-action chuck 15 open into the insertion opening formed by the two fork-shaped openings 30 of the two clamping jaws 20, 21. The front end of the saw blade shaft 161 lying in the recess 33 of the ejector 22 pushes into the V-groove 34 at the bottom of the recess 33. The further insertion of the saw blade 16 pushes the ejector 22 against the force of the ejection spring 23 into the lifting rod 14 until the ejector 22 releases the two jaws 20, 21. The tensioned torsion spring 19 thus comes into play and rotates the clamping sleeve 18 in such a way that the two clamping jaws 20, 21 move towards one another.
The groove flanks 311 and 312 of the two V-grooves 31 in the clamping jaws 20, 21 engage under the lower edge of the clamping lugs 162, 163 on the saw blade shaft 161 and press the saw blade 16 upwards, as a result of which the upper edges of the clamping lugs 162, 163 into the V-groove 32 can be inserted at the end of the lifting rod 14. The saw blade 16 is thereby clamped with its clamping tabs 162, 163 between the lifting rod 14 and the clamping jaws 20, 23, the V-grooves 31, 32 ensuring that the saw blade 16 is centered. In addition, the ejector 22 presses against the end face of the saw blade shaft 161 under the action of the ejection spring 23, and here too the V-groove 34 ensures centering of the shaft end of the saw blade 16.
If the saw blade 16 is to be changed, the quick-action chuck 15 is to be opened, for which purpose the clamping sleeve 18 must be rotated with one hand while the torsion spring 19 is being tensioned. This rotation of the clamping sleeve 18 moves the clamping jaws 20, 21 radially outward via the pin / slot connections 25, 26 and 25, 27 of the clamping jaws 20, 21 with the clamping sleeve 18, so that the clamping jaws 20, 21 the clamping tabs 162, 163 increasingly release. As soon as the clamping jaws 20, 21 are pulled apart far enough, the ejector 22 pushes the saw blade 16 out and simultaneously moves between the mutually facing fork ends of the two clamping jaws 20, 21, so that the clamping jaws 20, 21 are locked when the clamping sleeve 18 is released and cannot move back again.
The quick-action chuck 15 is in its open position, and a new saw blade can be inserted into the quick-action chuck 15 in the manner described, without any manipulation of the quick-action chuck 15 having to be carried out beforehand. After the saw blade 16 has been moved up, it is then again automatically centered and clamped in the quick-action chuck 15 without any manipulation by the operator.
