State of the art
The invention is based on a holder of an additional device of a hand tool according to the preamble of claim 1. From EP-A-469 356 a holder of an additional device for a rotary hammer is known, which has a clamping part which can be placed on a clamping neck of the rotary hammer and by means of a clamping screw can be firmly tightened. An additional securing of the additional device against turning or shifting in the axial direction is not provided. To tighten or loosen the clamping part, the clamping screw must be tightened or loosened, which requires a suitable wrench.
As a further example of additional devices which can be attached to the clamping neck of handheld power tools, additional handles are known which have a clamping screw which can be actuated via a grip part of the additional handle. Additional tools for tightening or loosening the clamping screw are therefore not necessary. However, the clamping force that can be applied here alone is not sufficient for the secure attachment of heavily used additional devices to the clamping neck.
Furthermore, various mounts of additional devices on the clamping neck of handheld power tools are known on the market, which in addition to the pure bracing of the additional device on the clamping neck of the handheld power tool also provide a positive connection. Assembling and removing the additional devices is labor-intensive and time-consuming with such mounts. These known holders are therefore unsuitable for frequent assembly and disassembly.
Advantages of the invention
The holder according to the invention with the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage over the prior art that it enables a quick assembly and disassembly of the additional device. Additional tools are not required for this. Furthermore, a consistently secure hold of the additional device on the handheld power tool is always guaranteed, even with frequent mounting and dismounting of the additional device.
This is achieved in that the holder is constructed in two parts and consists of a clamping part which remains stationary on the clamping neck of the hand-held power tool and a working part which can be removed and is connected to the additional device. Clamping part and working part are detachably connected to each other via an extremely user-friendly quick coupling, preferably a bayonet connection. The additional device removed from the hand-held power tool is shorter and lighter without the clamping part and is correspondingly more manageable. This is advantageous wherever the work cases change frequently and therefore a change between the basic operating modes of the hand tool and the optional additional operating modes with additional devices attached to the hand tool is often necessary.
The measures listed in the dependent claims allow advantageous refinements and improvements of the holder according to the invention. The design of the coupling between the additional device and the stationary clamping part as a bayonet connection is particularly advantageous. It is also advantageous to provide a detent in the end positions of the clutch, which signals to the operator that the assembly or disassembly position has been reached and therefore counteract incorrect operation and unwanted release of the clutch. A safe and highly resilient coupling is given in particular when sliding slopes are provided which brace the parts to be connected to one another after the attachment of the additional device.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing and explained in more detail in the following description. Show it:

2 is a perspective view of the additional device with holder,

Description of the embodiment
1 shows a chisel hammer with an additional device 2 for needle chiseling, also referred to as a "needle chopper", as an example of a hand tool 1. Such an additional device 2 is used in particular for concrete renovation and has a plurality of steel needles 3 which can be displaced axially relative to a housing 5 and which can be impacted in the axial direction by the hammer mechanism of the chisel hammer 1. However, the structure and function of this additional device 2 are not the subject of this invention. Rather, the additional device 2 is only intended to serve as an example of any additional device 2 that can be attached to a handheld power tool 1.
The handheld power tool 1 shown in FIG. 1 is connected to the additional device 2 via a holder 12. The bracket 12 in turn consists of a clamp holder 14 and a coupling 11.
2 shows the additional device 2 removed from the handheld power tool 1. The clamp holder 14 can be seen, which is used for clamping on a clamping neck 31 (FIG. 3) of the handheld power tool 1 and which can be detachably connected to the additional device 2 via the coupling 11. The coupling 11 is designed as a bayonet connection. The coupling 11 has an annular projection 17a which is fixed on the clamp holder 14 and which forms a fixed coupling part 11a of the coupling 11. A latching sleeve 17b, which is rotatable relative to the housing 5 of the additional device 2, forms a movable coupling part 11b of the coupling 11.
In Fig. 3, the additional device 2 is attached to the hand tool 1. A housing 1b of the hand-held power tool 1 forms the clamping neck 31 at its front, tool-side end. Such a clamping neck 31 is known in hand-held power tools and can be used in particular for fastening an additional handle. According to the invention, the clamping neck 31 serves to fasten the clamp holder 14 to the machine housing 1b. The clamp holder 14 has a clamp holder housing 14a which is approximately hollow-cylindrical in shape and forms an approximately tubular, radially projecting extension 14b. A clamping band 22 with radial play is accommodated in the clamp holder 14, which engages around the clamping neck 31, ends 23, 24 of the clamping band 22 overlapping in the region of the extension 14b and thus forming a closed loop.
The two ends 23, 24 of the tensioning band 22 are provided with bores 25, 26 through which a tensioning screw 28 engages. The clamping screw 28 is housed approximately in the middle of the extension 14b. With one end 28a, the clamping screw 28 is fixedly connected to a guide part 27 in a rotationally fixed manner and is guided to be longitudinally displaceable within the extension 14b. A compression spring 29, which is supported on the one hand via the two superimposed ends 23, 24 of the tensioning band 22 on an end-side support surface of the extension 14b, presses the guide part 27 inwards in the direction of a longitudinal axis 2a of the additional device 2. At the other end 28b of the tensioning screw 28 a clamping nut 30 is screwed in, which is accommodated in a rotationally fixed manner in a turning handle 30a.
Screwing in the clamping nut 30 allows the end 28b of the clamping screw 28 to dip deeper into the rotary handle 30a, as a result of which the clamping band 22 is wrapped more tightly around the clamping neck 31.
A securing element 20 is arranged on the inside of the tensioning strap 22 by means of a rivet 21, which engages radially in a recess 32 when the tensioning strap 22 is tightened and positively fixes the clamp holder 14 on the tensioning neck 31. The recess 32 is limited in the axial direction, so that the clamp holder 14 is secured in the axial direction. The recess 32 can additionally be limited in the circumferential direction, so that the clamp holder 14 is also secured in the circumferential direction. A cover 16 closes an assembly opening 16a in the clamp holder housing 14a, through which the tightening strap 22 and the tightening screw 28 can be fitted.
On the tool holder, the annular projection 17a is firmly formed on the tool holder, on which locking cams 19 projecting radially outward are provided. The ring projection 17a has a cylindrical extension towards the inside of the tool, into which a centering collar 8 of the additional device 2 engages without play. The centering collar 8 is formed by an inner housing 6 of the additional device 2. The inner housing 6 is surrounded by a protective housing 5 in a heat-insulating manner.
The movable coupling part 11b, which is designed as a locking sleeve 17b, is secured axially in the tool direction on the centering collar 8 by means of a snap ring 40. In the machine direction, an annular collar 6b on the inner housing 6 prevents the detent sleeve 17b from being pulled off axially. Inwardly projecting locking elements 36 are provided on the locking sleeve 17b, which engage behind the locking cams 19. A ball grid 41 is accommodated in a bore in the annular collar 6b and has a ball which is spring-loaded to the outside and which, in the end positions of the locking sleeve 17b, snaps into corresponding locking recesses 38 recessed therein.
In FIG. 4 it can be seen that on the locking sleeve 17b two mutually opposite locking elements 36 are provided which cooperate with two locking cams 19 also opposite one another (only one of which is shown in FIG. 4). Joining sections 37 are provided between the locking cams 19, through which the locking elements 36 can dive. In Fig. 4 the ball grid 41 is also shown, which is engaged in the locking hole 38. This signals the open position of the clutch 11, in which the locking elements 36 can move axially past the locking cams 19.
The latching cams 19 have bevels 19b on the rear in the circumferential direction (FIG. 2) which, when the latching sleeve 17b closes in the direction of an arrow 50 in FIG. In this case, elastic buffers 43 (FIG. 4) projecting axially from an end face of the inner housing 6 are used to clamp the additional device 2 with the clamp holder 14 without play.
Fig. 5 shows the locking position of the clutch 11, in which the locking cams 19 are engaged behind by the locking elements 36. This position is also indicated by engagement of the ball grid 41 in a locking bore 38.
6 shows how the locking cams 19 are pressed against the buffers 43 in the inner housing 6 of the additional device 2 via the locking elements 36. The snap ring 40 axially secures the locking sleeve 17b.
