Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer zylindrischen, erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung;
Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch die Vorrichtung nach Fig. 1;
Fig. 3 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer quaderförmigen, erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung;
Fig. 4 einen Querschnitt durch die Vorrichtung nach Fig. 3;
Fig. 5 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer torusförmigen, erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung;
The invention relates to a device for generating heat according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Conventional heating elements are known to have poor efficiency.
The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention has for its object to provide a device for generating heat, which has an improved efficiency compared to conventional heating elements.
The invention achieves the stated object with a device which has the features of claim 1.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the dependent claims.
The advantages achieved by the invention can essentially be seen in the fact that, thanks to the device according to the invention, which does not use conventional heating resistors but uses direct heating by light waves, up to 80% in electricity costs can be saved. The light is projected directly onto the inner walls of the metal container. Through continuous operation with low and low voltage, the power source used can be used even more optimally.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of the partially schematic representation of various exemplary embodiments.
Show it:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a cylindrical device according to the invention.
FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the device according to FIG. 1;
3 shows a perspective illustration of a cuboid device according to the invention;
FIG. 4 shows a cross section through the device according to FIG. 3;
5 shows a perspective illustration of a toroidal device according to the invention;
Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the device according to the invention in the form of a composite unit.
The device according to the invention shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially consists of a cylindrical metal container 1 which is closed on all sides and in which an electric lamp 2 is arranged, which can be connected to the power supply via electrical connections 3.
The metal container 1 is preferably made of aluminum; however, it can also be made from another reflectable metal, the interior of the metal container being expediently lined with an aluminum layer. The wall thickness of the metal container 1 is typically between 1 and 3 mm, preferably between 1.5 and 2.5 mm.
Any incandescent lamp is suitable as lamp 2, but in particular also gas discharge lamps (for example noble gas fluorescent tubes) and metal vapor lamps (for example fluorescent lamps).
The device according to the invention shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 differs from the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 only in the outer shape of the metal container 1, which is cuboid here.
As shown in FIG. 5, the metal container 1 can also have a toroidal shape, which offers advantages in terms of shape and design in certain applications.
Finally, a device according to the invention is shown in FIG. 6, in which a plurality of metal containers 1, which enclose a lamp 2, are enclosed in a larger metal container 11, so that a combination effect occurs.
The efficiency of the device according to the invention can be further increased by the fact that the electric lamp 2 arranged in the metal container 1 is surrounded by a liquid, preferably water or glycerin.
In conventional heaters, the heating elements are repeatedly heated up and then fall back into the cold state. The heating of the heating elements causes a high resistance with the corresponding power consumption. The direct use of light waves in continuous operation with low resistance and optimal use of the combination effect allows a better use of the heat produced.
Application example 1
A room with a content of 42 m 3 was kept at a constant temperature of 22 ° C. for 4 months with a conventional heater with an output of 1800 watts (heating element heating).
A room of the same size was kept at the same temperature in the same time period using a 225 watt device according to the invention.
The device according to the invention here consisted of a container 11 (FIG. 6) with nine metal containers 1 (FIG. 3). The container 11 had the external dimensions 65 x 50 x 4 cm and thus had a volume of 13,000 cm 3 and a surface area of 7,420 cm 2.
Example of use 2
A device according to the invention according to FIG. 6 with the external dimensions 40 x 25 x 4 cm was operated with cascade connection (thermostat-controlled) in a container measuring 100 x 80 x 50 cm with an output of 20 watts. The temperature measured directly on the device was 50 °, the temperature measured in the container 35 °.
The same device was operated without a cascade connection with an output of 80 watts, with temperature values of 90 ° directly on the device and 49 ° for the room temperature.
