Beschreibung description
The present invention relates to a folding package for elongated products according to the preamble of claim 1.
Folding packs of this type are generally known, in particular for tabular products. When packaging bar-shaped products, such a pack proves to be disadvantageous in view of the fact that the corresponding packaging process is relatively slow.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a folding pack that can be realized by a relatively fast packaging process.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a folding pack having the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.
The advantage of such a folding pack is that it can be manufactured at a relatively high speed with reliable function and tightness, even if the product is not in the form of a sheet but rather in the form of a bar.
Dabei zeigen: The invention is explained in more detail below by describing exemplary embodiments with reference to a drawing. Show:

Fig. 26 eine schematische Darstellung einer solchen Einrichtung. Fig. 26 is a schematic representation of such a device.
1 shows, for example, a chocolate bar 1 with a triangular cross section and a packaging material 2 enveloping it, which is closed along a longitudinal edge by a longitudinal fin 3 with a longitudinal fin seam, the longitudinal fin 3 being folded under the base of the packaging material. Since the length of the wrapping material is greater than the length of the bar 1, enough wrapping material remains at the ends of the bar to fold it and thereby form the ends of the folding pack. Fig. 2 shows how the edges of the wrapping material projecting outwards at a longitudinal edge can be sealed with the aid of sealing members 4 and 5 pressing against each other in the direction of the arrow in order to form the sealed longitudinal fin 3 which is subsequently folded down according to FIG. 3 .
According to FIGS. 4 to 6, in a further method step an end fold is produced in the form of an approximately triangular front fin 6, which runs perpendicular to the end face. The frontal fold results in a fin 7 which extends downward from the base edge 8.
FIG. 7 shows part of the folding pack with a sealed front fin seam 9, which is produced with the aid of sealing members 10, 10 'and 11 shown schematically in FIGS. 8 to 10. The front fin seam 9 preferably extends along the entire length of the front fin 6, for example at the edge thereof.
11, the front fin 6 is then folded over and cross-sealed together with the side fin 7 with a transverse seam 12, preferably parallel to the base edge 8, as shown schematically in FIGS. 11 and 12. In Fig. 13 the sealing members 13 and 14 for sealing the transverse seam 12 are only indicated.
14 clearly shows that the length of the wrapping material is chosen so much greater than the length of the bar-shaped product that at least at one end there is enough wrapping material to form the front fin 6 and the side fin 7. This side fin 7 can be formed particularly easily in the case of bar-shaped products if the product has an elongated flat surface or is arranged, for example, on a cardboard strip, even in the case of otherwise rather irregularly shaped products. The front fin 6 is first folded over by an axis of rotation which extends approximately perpendicularly from an upper corner point of the end face to the area of the base edge 8. In the case of the fin 7, the base edge 8 is the axis of rotation by which it is folded over.
Fig. 14 also shows that the front fin 6 is also folded approximately in the middle to form an approximately triangular cuff 15, and that the front fin 6 extends from the corner point 16 to at least one point 17 of the base edge 8, the Surcharge 15, for example, could not be longer than the height of the bar. To simplify the drawing, the front fin seam, which is located, for example, at a distance from its outermost edge 18, is not shown in FIG. 14. Then the fin 7 is folded over until it rests under the folding pack on the surface of the base.
Die Formkammern, auch Taschen genannt, weisen einen dreieckförmigen Querschnitt auf, der der Form Fig. 18 shows a first folding bike 20 which can rotate step by step to encase a product 21 with a triangular cross section with a wrapping material sheet 22 which, after being cut to size by means of a knife 23, between the product 21 and the folding bike 20 is located. In a first process step for producing the longitudinal fin, the product and, with it, the sheet 22 are inserted into one of the empty mold chambers 24 of the folding bike. In the second process step, the folding bike and with it also the product rotates in such a way that two edges 25 and 26 of the wrapping material lie on one another. In a third process step, these edges 25 and 26 are sealed tight to form the longitudinal seam. In a fourth process step, the longitudinal seam is cooled, and in a fifth process step the wrapped product is passed on to a preferably horizontally arranged transport route in order to form the end folds of the wrapper in further process steps and to complete this by sealing. The mold chambers, also called pockets, have a triangular cross-section that matches the shape

Fig. 18 zeigt, dass dieses Faltrad 20 eine Taschenfläche 28 aufweist, die genau radial und unterhalb des Produktes angeordnet ist. of the product. The two inner side surfaces 27, 28 of the chambers are therefore also called pocket surfaces. 18 shows that this folding bike 20 has a pocket surface 28 which is arranged exactly radially and below the product.
FIG. 19 shows the product provided with a covering, which has only one longitudinal fin 31, as is released from the first folding bike 20 (FIG. 18). 20 to 23 show the various process steps for forming the end folds and seals that close the wrapping. From these figures, the front fin 6, the side fin 7, the lap 15 and the base edge can be seen. These operations are preferably performed on both ends of the product. When the product is sealed in the wrapper, it is brought into a suitable position, as indicated in FIG. 24, in order to pass it on to a second folding bike 41 according to FIG. 25.
The folding bike 41 initially works with a stamp 42, so that in a first method step a cardboard blank 43 is placed between the stamp 42 and one of the mold chambers 44 of the folding bike 41. In a second process step, the cardboard blank 43 is pressed into the corresponding molding chamber with the aid of the stamp. In a second process step, the completely wrapped product arriving from the transport line is inserted into the molding chamber against the cardboard blank, and in further process steps the cardboard blank is also sealed on the side in order to form a cardboard sleeve which is coated with glue and pushed to the removal station. Cold glue and then hot glue are preferably applied to the cardboard blank as a glue coating. 25 also shows that this second folding bike has two pocket surfaces 45, 46 which are arranged symmetrically to the folding bike axis.
Fig. 26 shows a device for producing a folding pack according to the invention with a first folding bike 20 for wrapping with wrapping material, with a transport path 51 for the production of folds and seals at the ends of the folding pack and with a second folding bike 41 for attaching the Cardboard sleeve. This device can also be provided with means to produce, in a manner known per se, tear relief in the form of incisions at the longitudinal edge seam and / or to attach at least one tear strip to one of the end faces.
