Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.
Fig. 1 ein Einsteckschloss in perspektivischer Darstellung ohne Einsatz,
Fig. 2 einen Einsatz von vorne,
Fig. 3 eine Ansicht des Einsatzes gemäss Fig. 2 aus Richtung des Pfeiles A,
Fig. 6 einen Einsatz mit einer anderen Schwenkarretierung.
Fig. 2 und 4).
Fig. 2).
The present invention relates to an insert with a driver rotatable therein according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Locks on toilet, toilet or shower room doors are usually not lockable with a key, but a so-called storage olive is attached to the inside, by means of which the bolt can be pushed forward by a quarter turn. Most of the time, the door is closed or opened by a corresponding color change or lettering. Such toilet locks have a corresponding nut with a square hole in the lock case instead of the cutout for the round or profile cylinder, as is used in the other locks. This means that the manufacturer of the door as well as the lock dealer and lock manufacturer, in addition to the other locks, must always manufacture and have special toilet locks for both "right" and "left" opening doors.
On the one hand, this increases the cost of warehousing and production.
An insert has already become known which can be installed in the cutout for the round or profile cylinder of a commercially available lock case. This insert has a driver, in the pivot of which a square hole is provided, and which can be rotated by means of a commercially available storage olive. Compared to the specially manufactured toilet locks, this known use has the disadvantage that the storage olive can be freely rotated and the user of the toilet can only determine from the position of the olive whether the door is closed or not.
The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention, as characterized in claim 1, solves the problem of creating an insert in a mortise lock with a profile or round cylinder cutout, which has a driver that can only be pivoted in a predetermined working sector of about 90 °.
With the use according to the invention, it is possible on the one hand to use conventional mortise locks with a round or profile cylinder cutout for toilet, toilet and shower room doors and to mount conventional, customary storage olives, the function of which is known to everyone.
The invention is explained in more detail with the aid of an illustrated embodiment. Show it:
1 is a mortise lock in perspective without use,
2 an insert from the front,
3 shows a view of the insert according to FIG. 2 from the direction of arrow A,
4 shows a cross section through the use along lines IV-IV in FIG. 2,
Fig. 5 is a schematic representation of a door top view from the front and
Fig. 6 shows an insert with a different swivel lock.
A mortise lock 1 of known construction consists of a lock case 3, which takes up the mechanics and which is not described in detail, a faceplate 5, which closes the lock case 3 on the front side and openings for the lock latch 7 and a slide latch 9, as well as holes for fastening the mortise lock 1 in a door 11. Holes 13 are provided in the lock case 3 for fastening rosettes or door signs. A nut 15 with a square bore 17 is rotatably guided in the lock case 3 and serves to receive a handle pin on a handle 20 with which the nut 15 can be rotated and the latch 7 can be retracted.
Below the nut 15 there is a round or profile cylinder cutout 19 in which a standard locking cylinder (e.g. from one of the well-known lock cylinder manufacturers such as Kaba, Keso, Dom, etc. or the toilet insert 21 according to the invention) can usually be used.
The insert 21 has a cross-sectional shape which corresponds to the cutout 19 for the locking cylinder — described and illustrated in the example for one from Kaba. In the insert 21 there is a cylindrical bore 23 into which a cylindrical pin 25 with a driver cam 27 projecting radially outwards and with a central square hole 29 can be inserted. The insert 21 has a recess 31 in the cylindrical jacket-shaped section, which contains the bore 23, such that the bore 29 is divided into two bore sections spaced apart from one another. The pin 25 can have a larger diameter in the center such that the periphery of the central pin part is flush with the surface of the insert 21 in the cylindrical section 22.
On the cylindrical portion of the insert 21 there is an extension 33 which is rounded at the bottom and which laterally has a recess 35 which merges into the recess 31 at the top and into which the driver 27 can be fully retracted when it is rotated clockwise in FIG. 2.
In one of the annular sections 37 of the insert 21, which have the bore sections, a groove 39 is provided over an angular range r that increases the radial extent of the bore 23 in this area (see FIGS. 2 and 4). In the pin 25, a piston 43 and a spring 45 which presses the piston 43 out of the bore 41 in the direction of the section 37 with the groove 39 are inserted into a bore 41 as holding means. After the insert 21 has been inserted, the piston 43 rests in the cutout 19 in the groove 39 and limits the pivoting range S of the driver 27.
So that the insert 21 can be inserted into the cutout 19 in the lock case 3 without first opening the lock case 3, the piston 43 can be pushed into the bore 41 against the force of the spring 45 through the semicircular end of the bore 41 by means of a pointed object and thereby be disengaged from the recess 39. As a result, the driver 27 can be pivoted beyond the swivel range S or the region of the recess 39 into the recess 35 in the extension 33. In the pivoted-in position, the driver 27 does not protrude beyond the cross section of the insert 21 (cf. FIG. 2).
In a further embodiment of the invention according to FIG. 6, the recess 39 and the spring-held piston 43 are omitted. To limit the pivoting movement of the driver 27, a fixed stop 51 is attached to the annular sections 37 of the insert 21, which stops the driver 27 from pivoting limited counterclockwise. In order that the insert can be mounted in the lock case 3, the second stop consisting of a cotter pin or pin 53 is not mounted in such a way that the driver 27 can be pivoted clockwise into the recess 35 in the extension 33. After inserting the insert 21 into the lock case 3, the driver is rotated as far as the stop 51 and then the cotter pin or pin 53 is inserted into a bore 55 provided for this purpose.
After inserting the pin or cotter pin 53, the driver can only be rotated in the predetermined swivel range of approx. 90 °.
