Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Darstellung einer Spulmaschine und
Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch die Bremsvorrichtung.
The present invention relates to a braking device on a winder according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Spooling machines for winding threads, in particular synthetic threads, have a spool mandrel, usually overhung, which supports the spool and is mounted in the machine housing. A friction roller, which is used either to drive the spool or to monitor the speed on the surface of the spool, is suspended in a slide that is vertically displaceably attached to the machine housing. The laying device, also called a traversing device, for guiding the thread along the bobbin surface is also arranged on the carriage. The distribution roller and possibly its drive, the laying device and the carriage carrying these two elements are quite heavy, which can generally be held and moved in the guide on the machine housing by means of pneumatic cylinders.
This pneumatic carrying and moving device is fed by the factory compressed air network and is pressurized with compressed air when the machine is in operation. A controller controls the position of the slide and receives commands via appropriate sensors to maintain the pressure of the friction roller against the surface of the spool within a predetermined frame. When changing the bobbin, when either the bobbin mandrel is moved away from the distribution roller, the pneumatics alone have to absorb the entire slide weight. If for any reason the pressure in the factory pneumatic network drops, the carriage slides down without braking and can damage the thread material and / or the spool on the spool.
But even in the event of an emergency stop, there is a risk that the pressure in the system will collapse and the slide will slide downward essentially without braking, or at least transmit its entire weight to the spool.
It is known to prevent the pressure in the pneumatic system from dropping if the pressure in the factory network is reduced by closing the pneumatic supply to the slide. Nevertheless, due to its own weight and due to compression of the compressed air, the slide slides down by a certain amount, which can already damage the spool and / or the spool mandrel.
The invention seeks to remedy this.
The invention, as characterized in the claims, achieves the object of holding the slide in the position before the pressure drop essentially without delay in the event of a pressure drop in the pneumatic supply.
The spring compressed under normal working pressure of the compressed air supply relaxes synchronously with falling pressure and immediately actuates the collet holding the slide. The braking device works with certainty, since the closing of the caliper already begins with decreasing pressure and is already completely closed after falling below a value below the maximum pressure.
The invention is explained in more detail with the aid of an illustrated embodiment. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a winder and
Fig. 2 shows a cross section through the braking device.
In Fig. 1, an automatic winder with a bobbin mandrel 5, a thread laying device 6 of known construction and the machine housing, which contains the drive motors for the bobbin mandrel 5, the laying device and the other units and parts of the controller, is shown. The turret carrying the mandrel S is not shown and also has a known design. The bobbin mandrel 5 is overhung, so that loading with an empty tube or removal of the full bobbin 3 can be done by hand or by an automatic doffer. The laying device 6 and the friction or tachometer roller 7, which is used to drive the spool 3 or to determine the surface speed on the spool 3, are arranged in a carriage 11 which is slidably mounted on the housing 9 of the winding machine 1 in vertical guides 13 is.
The vertical displacement of the carriage 11 takes place by means of pneumatic cylinders 15 arranged inside the machine housing 9 (indicated schematically in broken lines). The pneumatic cylinder or cylinders 15 are designed in such a way that they can lift the carriage 11 off the coil 3. You are also able to press the friction roller 7 with a predetermined force on the coil 3. In other words, the pneumatic cylinders 15 take on only part of the weight of the slide 11; the other part serves as a pressing force on the coil 3.
A braking device 17 is inserted between the carriage 11 and the housing 9. In Fig. 1 the braking device outside the machine housing 9 is shown. However, it is preferably arranged within the housing 9 so that it is protected against dirt deposits.
2, the braking device 17 is shown in detail. Only a section of the upper cover of the machine housing 9 is visible. The carriage 11 is also only shown at the lower end of the device and in sections.
Between the housing 9 and the carriage 11, a brake rod 19 is arranged vertically. The brake rod 19 is loosely guided in the housing 9 through a bore 21 and is held by a screw nut 23, which is seated on a thread 25 on the brake rod 19. A washer 27 is inserted between the screw nut 23 and the housing 9.
At the lower end of the brake rod 19, which preferably has a hardened and ground surface, is a further washer 29, which is clamped by a screw 30. The brake rod 19, or the neck 33 of a flange 35 attached to the lower end of the brake rod 19, loosely penetrates the casing of the slide 11. The brake rod 19 penetrates a piston 37 arranged above the flange 35, which is inserted axially displaceably in a bushing 39 is. The bushing 39 can be part of the housing of the slide 11 (cf. FIG. 2); but it can also be an independent element which is screwed onto the housing of the slide 11. A coil spring 43 is clamped between the underside 41 of the piston 37 and the top of the flange 31. Any other spring element can be used as the spring 43.
A seal 45 is provided on the piston 37, which seals the piston 37 to the cylinder 39. The cylinder 39 is closed at the top by a cylinder cover 47, and a compressed air line 53 opens into the displacement 49 between the piston crown 51 and the cover 47. A collar 55 on the cylinder cover 47 projects into a bore 57 in the piston 37. A seal 59 prevents the outlet of air from the piston chamber 49. The two-stage piston 37, the larger diameter of which slides in the piston 39, has a conical axial bore 61. The conical section extends predominantly in the section of the piston part with the smaller diameter. The cylindrical bore 59 adjoins above the conical portion 61, a step preferably being provided between the conical portion and the cylindrical bore 59.
In the conical section 61, a collet 63 with a conical jacket is inserted, which has an axial bore through which the brake rod 19 can be inserted with very little play. The taper of the bore 61 of the piston 37 and the taper of the jacket of the collet 63 are essentially identical.
The collet 63 has a conventional structure and is commercially available. It consists of a plurality of segments which have been produced by axially running cutouts from the base body initially having an unslit jacket. The collet 63 is loosely inserted in the conical bore 61 in the piston 37.
During the winding operation, both the pneumatic cylinder or cylinders 15, which carry the slide 11, and the piston chamber 49 of the braking device 17 are acted upon by compressed air p. The compressed air build-up in the cylinder 15 causes the slide 11 to be pressed onto the coil 3 with a predetermined force. In the braking device, the piston 37 is pressed downward against the force of the spring 43 by building up a compressed air cushion in the piston chamber 49. As a result of the axial displacement of the piston 37 downward, the conical surface 61 of the piston 37 moves away from the jacket of the collet 63. This allows the segments of the collet 63 to deflect radially outwards as a result of their prestressing, and the entire collet 63 slides together with the piston 37 downward.
If the collet 63 has not already loosened from the conical bore 61 during the downward sliding, it does so at the latest when its lower end face 65 abuts the upper end face 31 of the flange 35 and the collet 63 is thereby ejected from the bore 61. The carriage 11 is now freely movable in the vertical direction and can be successively guided upwards in accordance with the coil structure. When changing the spool, the carriage 17 can be lifted off the spool 3 by increasing the pressure. The simultaneous increase in the pressure in the piston chamber 49 does not change the position of the elements of the brake. The brake then remains out of engagement with the brake rod 19 both during the winding process and during the bobbin change.
If the supply of air to the piston chamber 49 is interrupted during the coil change, the brake comes into action, as will now be explained on the basis of a drop in pressure.
If the pressure in the compressed air supply to the machine or the entire factory network drops for whatever reason, or if the machine is shut down by means of an emergency stop, and the pressure in the compressed air supply drops as a result, the force exerted on piston 37 in piston chamber 49 is sufficient no longer to compress the spring 43. As a result, the piston 37, together with the collet 63 located therein, is displaced upwards until the upper end face 67 of the collet 63 strikes the underside 55 of the cover 47, thus pressing the collet 63 into the conical bore 61. The relative movement of the piston 37 and the collet 63 compresses the latter and clamps it on the brake rod 19.
The clamping of the collet 63 thus does not take place only after a complete drop in pressure, but begins already during the drop in pressure. This ensures that the full clamping force of the collet 63 has already been built up before the pressure in the lifting cylinders 15 for the slide 11 has dropped to such an extent that the slide 11 can slide downwards in an uncontrolled manner.
