Abstract
The plastics container contains and issues multiple doses of a bulk powdered or liq. soap prod. It comprises a flexible plastics body with a dispensing hole hermetically closed in the delivery state. The body is made in a single piece with a closure (3) placed on a collar (2c) surrounding the dispensing hole. In the transition region between the collar and closure is a zone formed by an annular groove with a reduced cross section. This zone allows the undoing of the closure by hand. The closure has a moulded plug on the side opposite the collar also in the delivery state whose outer dia. corresponds to the inner dia. of the collar. The plug can be forced or screwed into the collar, after loosening the closure after a rotation of 180 deg. for replugging.
Description
Fig. 2 ist die dazugehörige Schnittdarstellung und
The present invention relates to a plastic container according to the preamble of the independent claim.
There are numerous liquid and powdered bulk goods in the retail trade, which are shipped and sold in sealed plastic packages and consumed in portions after the package has been opened for the first time. Many of these packs can only be closed again to an inadequate extent or with the help of separately provided closure members.
It is the object of the present invention to propose a plastic container which is absolutely liquid and dust-tight at the time of its dispatch or sale and whose closure cap is not only easy to loosen but can be reused after each partial removal of the package contents to seal the package opening.
The invention is defined in the characterizing part of independent claim 1. Preferred embodiments result from the dependent claims.
An exemplary embodiment of the plastic container according to the invention is described below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
1 is a simplified perspective view of the upper part of a package used to hold a liquid detergent before it is opened for the first time,
Fig. 2 is the associated sectional view and
3 and 4 show the packs after opening and reclosing, likewise on the basis of a perspective and sectional view.
A container body designated by 1 consists of one or more soft-elastic plastic foils welded on the edge and has a pouring nipple 2 with a closure 3 at one corner. The pouring nipple 2, with its fastening arms 2a / 2b extending on both sides, is fused to the inner surfaces of the adjacent film wall and only projects outwards with its molded neck 2c.
The fastening arms 2a / 2b are provided in a known manner with ribs 2d, which contribute to achieving an absolutely tight connection.
The neck 3c is followed by the closure 3, which forms a single part with the pouring nipple 2 and is offset from the same by an annular groove 4, which represents an annular zone of weakened material cross section.
The closure 3 has, as the sectional view according to FIG. 2 clearly shows, two cylindrical, tubular sections 5 and 6, the pipe section designated 5 serving as a sealing plug being still firmly connected to the pouring nipple neck 2c and the opposite one being designated 6 , protrudes freely upwards and has a small annular bead 7 on its circumference, in the upper free edge region thereof. The outer diameter d of the plug section 6 corresponds approximately to the inner diameter of the pipe section 5, so that the plug section 6 can be inserted and screwed into the pipe section 5 in a tight and sealing manner.
Before the contents of the pack are first removed, the closure 3 is separated from the pouring nipple 2 by turning the handle 8; the closure device 3 can then be used for reclosing the pouring opening by being placed in the opposite position, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, on the pouring nipple.
The annular bead 7 is intended to improve the desired tightness and can optionally cooperate with an annular groove provided on the inner wall of the pipe section 5. It would also be possible to attach an external thread to the sealing plug section 6 and a corresponding internal thread in the pipe section 5, so that the sealing device could be screwed into the pouring nipple.
