BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a high-performance liquid pump based on the ring-rotor principle.
In particular, the invention is concerned with a high-performance liquid pump, which can advantageously be used as a fluid for the application areas of water as a fluid and water-based hydraulic fluid.
With the ring rotor pumps known on the market, if the basic construction is suitable at all, the absolutely necessary very narrow clearances and gaps for the areas of application - higher pressures and water or water-like fluids - can only be achieved with a high manufacturing effort. This requires increased effort, which, on the one hand, increases the cost of manufacturing the pump and, on the other hand, the necessary tight tolerances with the normal manufacturing options are almost not so inexpensive to manufacture that this type of pump is useful for the use of water or water-like pressure fluids.
It is known that in particular the size of the axial gap between the ring rotor, connection cover and bearing cover resulting from the manufacturing tolerances of the individual parts has a very strong influence on the volumetric and overall efficiency as well as the possible mobile maximum pressure.
Therefore, the known ring-rotor pumps are used almost exclusively with mineral oil as the hydraulic fluid because of its high viscosity.
In order to eliminate these serious disadvantages and to be able to use the ring rotor pump for the application areas of water and water-like hydraulic fluids as a pressure medium and for higher pressure ranges, a high-performance liquid pump according to the ring rotor principle is proposed according to the wording according to claim 1.
It is further proposed that the ring area must be at least the same size or with an excess area compared to the resulting pressure area, which is determined by the size and design of the ring-rotor attachment, and that a compression spring acts in the same force as the excess force caused by the larger area compared to the area arises, and always ensures that the shim lies against the rotor shoulder, which in turn rests against the connection cover.
In a further embodiment of the invention, an annular relief chamber is arranged in front of the shaft sealing ring and is connected to the suction side of the pump via the bore.
The task of the relief chamber is that the pressure = operating pressure inevitably reduced through the gap between the drive shaft and the shim via the leakage liquid, so that only a residual pressure remains that the standard shaft seals withstand. In order to be able to discharge the leakage liquid that is generally generated, a connection to the suction side of the pump is created by means of two ring grooves and the bores via a bore in the shaft and via a relief chamber and a bore.
With the ring-rotor pump according to the invention, it has been possible to work with low-viscosity fluids in addition to the previously required high-viscosity hydraulic fluid use and thus new sensible applications, eg. B. have found medium pressure range in mining, drive units in the food sector, coolant supply with high pressure in machine tools, etc.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the invention is shown, according to which the housing consists of a connection cover 1, a housing ring 2 and a bearing cover 3 (each made of corrosion-resistant material) and carries the ring rotor barrel set 4, consisting of a rotor outer ring 5 and the rotor inner ring 6. This moving set is driven by the drive shaft 7 with wedges 8 and 9. This shaft 7 is mounted in a hydrostatic radial bearing 10 and a ball bearing 11 which is shielded from the hydraulic fluid via the shaft sealing ring 12. The shaft sealing ring 13 is used only for the outer shielding of the bearing 11. The compensating disk 14 is centered in the bearing cover 3 and is in principle applied to the ring rotor running set 4 with the compression spring 15 in the pressure chamber 16.
So that the pressure supplied via the pressure relief chamber 17 and bore 18 can be kept in the pressure chamber 18, the compensating disk 14 is sealed by means of a sealing ring 19 on the outside diameter and a sealing ring 20 on the centering diameter. In order to prevent an axial displacement of the shaft 7, the ball bearing 11 is fixed by means of a collar and retaining ring 21 and is likewise held in its installed position by means of the retaining rings 22 in the bearing cover 3.
The construction according to the invention is characterized by a very simple and, above all, successful solution, namely by a pressure-compensated shim 14, the outer diameter of which is equal to the ring rotor outer diameter 24, and which is held in the bearing cover 3 with a centering collar. On the centering collar and the outer surface of the shim 14, a sealing ring 19 and 20 is arranged. The space 16 between the shim 14 and the bearing cover 3 is supplied with pressure medium via the bore 18 from the pressure relief chamber 17, which is connected to the pressure side of the pump, whereby the shim 14 is pressed against the ring rotor 4 and the ring rotor 4 is placed on the bearing cover 3 becomes. The ring rotor 4 is slidably mounted on the drive shaft 7 in the axial direction.
In order for this interaction to work properly, the correct dimensioning of the surface 25 between the centering collar and the outer diameter of the shim 14 in a certain ratio to the pressurized surface 28, which is determined by the size and design of the ring rotor 4, must be in order for the to be able to keep the efficiency-determining axial gap 27 approximately zero mm. Since this must also be ensured during start-up and in depressurized operation, an additional compression spring 15 is provided. In each operating state, this gives a certain basic force in order to keep the ring rotor 4 free of play in the axial direction.
In a further embodiment of the invention, an annular relief chamber 28 is arranged in front of the shaft sealing ring 12, which is connected to the suction side of the pump via the bore 29.
The task of the relief chamber 28 is that the pressure = operating pressure that occurs through the gap 30 between the drive shaft 7 and the compensating disk 14 via the leakage liquid is inevitably reduced to such an extent that only a residual pressure remains that the commercially available shaft sealing rings withstand. In order to be able to discharge the leakage liquid that generally arises, a connection to the suction side of the pump is created by means of two ring grooves 31 and the bores 32 via a bore 33 in the shaft 7 and via a relief chamber 28 and a bore 29.
