BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates, on the one hand, to a device for producing an elastic glove, with a mold cavity formed between a core that simulates a human hand and two mold parts that enclose it at a distance and are separable from one another, in which, from the direction of separation of the mold parts, between the adjacent mold cavities there is a gap between the fingers and on the other hand a method for producing the elastic glove.
It is known to produce a rubber or plastic glove in a dipping process. In this known method, a shape simulating a human hand is immersed several times in a solution of the glove material, rotated therein, pivoted and dried until the desired material thickness is formed on the surface of the shape. Subsequent post-treatments of the resulting glove are then carried out and the finished glove is then removed from the mold.
A disadvantage of this method is that a uniform or a wall thickness of the glove that is distributed according to the task remains practically inaccessible. Another disadvantage of this method is economic. The manufacturing speed is very slow with the immersion process, so that the glove is relatively expensive to buy.
Furthermore, it is also known to produce an elastic glove made of rubber or plastic by injection molding. The molding tool used for this consists of two molded parts and a core, the position of the thumb being arranged to the side of the other fingers for reasons of demoldability. This has the disadvantage that the glove does not have the ideal anatomical shape, as a result of which the glove is already too large in the area between the thumb and the palm for the rest position of the human hand and consequently causes wrinkles that disturb.
The object of the present invention is to propose a device and a method for producing an economically advantageous, elastic glove with a predeterminable wall thickness and to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages of both the dipping method and the injection molding method with the aid of a device consisting of two molded parts and a core.
The object is achieved by a device.
which is characterized in that the palm assumes a position pivoted about the edge of the hand from the mold cavity for the thumb and encloses an acute angle with the direction of separation of the molded parts and the mold cavity for the thumb is arranged under the palm similar to a relaxed hand, whereby the outer common line of contact of the mold cavities for the thumb and forefinger with the palm encloses an angle between 60 and 110 degrees. This device enables the production of an economically advantageous glove with a predetermined wall thickness. The thumb of the glove made with only two molded parts and a core is anatomically correct, under the palm. Because the thumb is in the right position, you can work in this glove without annoying folds.
There is only the necessary glove material between the palm and the thumb.
The angle between the palm and the direction of separation of the molded parts is advantageously between 20 and 75 degrees.
The cross section of the mold cavities for the fingers can have the shape of an oval ring. The smallest width of the oval ring is advantageously transverse to the direction of separation of the molded parts.
The preferred method for producing the elastic glove is characterized in that an injection molding method is used in which the required volume of the molding compound is injected through at least one nozzle into the closed mold cavity, in which the molding compound is transferred to the solid state, after which the two molded parts removed and the finished glove removed from the core. An elastomer can be used as the molding compound. With the aid of this method, a relatively high production speed can be achieved, so that the production of the glove is economically advantageous.
In the following an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Show it:
Fig. 1 shows a glove with spread fingers in per perspective view
Fig. 2 shows a cross section over the two molded parts used to manufacture the glove and the core in the finger area.
In Fig. 1, an elastic glove 1 with spread fingers 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 is shown. This glove 1 is made from a molding compound with the aid of a device.
The manufacturing process will be described later. The device consists of a core 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 simulating a human hand, which is shown in section in FIG. 2 only by the finger area and two molded parts 12, 13, which are also visible in section in FIG. 2 are.
The molded parts 12, 13 surround the core 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 at a distance, so that between the core 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and the molded parts 12, 13 there is a coherent mold cavity 14 provided for the glove material, 15, 16, 17, 18 arises. The mold cavity has the preselected thickness around the entire core down to the wrist. The thickness of the mold cavity 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and thus also the wall thickness of the glove 1 can be kept in accordance with the designed values by precise machining and fastening of the molded parts 12, 13 and the core 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 will. In the figures, the attachment of the molded parts 12, 13 and the core to one another, and the connection openings to the mold cavity are not shown; these are the usual measures in injection mold construction.
In order to be able to separate the molded parts 12, 13 from the separation direction 21 of the molded parts 12, 13, between the adjacent mold cavities 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 there is a respective one for the fingers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Clearance available.
The core 7 for the thumb 2 is arranged in the shape similar to that of a relaxed hand under the palm 19. This anatomically correct thumb position is achieved when the outer common line of contact 23 of the mold cavities 14, 15 includes an angle B between 60 and 110 degrees for the thumb and for the index finger 3 with the palm 19. The common line of contact 23 is drawn in Fig. 2 with a dot-dash line. The anatomically correct position of the thumb 2 is necessary in order to be able to work in the glove 1 without a disability. In this solution, only the necessary glove material is present between the palm 19 and the thumb 2 of the glove 1, as a result of which disruptive wrinkling can be avoided.
Between the molded parts 12, 13, the palm 19 occupies a position pivoted about the hand edge 20 in the opposite direction to the thumb direction in the mold cavity and forms an acute angle A with the separating direction 21 of the molded parts 12, 13. The position of the palm 19 is indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 2. This relative position between the palm 19 and the direction of separation 21 of the molded parts 12, 13 enables the production of a glove 1 with an anatomically correct thumb position in a two-part form with a core. Depending on the distance between the mold cavities 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 for the fingers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, the angle A between the palm 19 and the separation direction 21 is between 20 and 75 degrees.
The cross section of the mold cavities 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 in the region of the fingers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 can have the shape of an oval ring. If the smallest width of these oval rings is transverse to the direction of separation 21 of the molded parts 12, 13, the inclination of the palm 19 can be made steeper by reducing the angle A.
The elastic glove 1 is produced in an injection molding process. The required volume of the molding compound is first injected into the closed mold cavity 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 through at least one nozzle, not shown. The molding compound is then converted into a solid state in this room. Then the two molded parts 12, 13 are removed and the finished glove 1 is removed from the core 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. The molding compound can be an elastomer, such as. B. natural rubber, chlorinated rubber, polybutadiene, polyurethane or silicone rubber in a sprayable state. In our example bromobutyl rubber was used. The transformation of the molding compound into a solid state depends on the material used and is usually carried out by crosslinking, in our example by vulcanization.
On the surface of the finished elastic glove 1 one can see the illustration of the dividing line 22 drawn in FIG. 1 between the two molded parts 12, 13. The course of this dividing line 22 corresponds to the described illustration of the molded parts 12, 13.
