BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a locking hook for chains, in particular for side parts of anti-skid chains, according to the preamble of claim 1. From CH-PS 647462 a locking hook of this type is known, in which the holder through an elongated hole in an approximately semicircular outline and in the Receiving opening projecting profile section of the web is formed.
The side hook of the running part of the tire chain, which is hooked into the receiving opening, projects outwards through the insertion opening of the locking hook. The disadvantage of this known locking hook is that it is relatively complicated due to its profile section and is therefore expensive to manufacture. In addition, the securing of the suspended chain link in the lock is cumbersome, since the one leg of the locking hook must be bent so that it lies against the profile section. Unhooking the other chain link is complicated and time-consuming.
The invention is based on the object of constructing a locking hook of this type in a structurally simple manner, wherein nevertheless one suspended chain link is held securely and the other suspended chain link can simply be removed.
This object is achieved with a locking hook of the generic type according to the invention with the characterizing features of claim 1, reference being made to the German DIN standard 5687 with regard to the labeling features of the chain suspended in the locking hook.
As a result of the inventive design of the holder as an open-edged recess in the web of the closure member, a separate profile section is not required, so that the closure hook has a simple, approximately C-shaped configuration. Since the side hook protrudes beyond the recess into the receiving opening, a suspended chain link cannot be unintentionally removed from the locking hook. However, the other chain link can be detached relatively easily because it only moves into the receiving opening up to the height of the hanging opening and then only has to be inclined to lead it out through the hanging opening. Since the chain strand hooked into the side hook does not have to be released beforehand in order to unhook this chain link, opening the side parts having the locking hook is particularly simple.
It is also not possible to unintentionally unhook the chain strand adjoining the side hooks because this chain strand does not have to be attached to the side hooks with an open hook link.
Further features of the invention result from the dependent claims.
The invention is described below with reference to two exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. It shows:
Fig. 1 in a schematic representation of a snow chain, the ends of which are closed via connecting hooks according to the invention and in the chain links of an outer or
Inner part and side hook of a running part of the chain are attached,
2 shows one of the connecting hooks according to FIG. 1 in an approximately true-to-scale representation and in a side view,
3 shows a second embodiment of a connecting hook according to the invention in a representation corresponding to FIG. 2.
Fig. 1 shows a part of a snow chain 1 with each formed as a chain outer and inner parts 2 and 3 and a running part 4 with transverse to the direction 5 of the chain 1 running part sections 6. These sections 6 are with side hooks 7 in the inner and outer part 2 and 3 attached. The chain must be opened over its entire width at a joint 8, so that it can be easily and quickly put on a tire and removed from it again. As a locking part is at one end of the inner and outer parts 2 and 3, a locking hook 9, 9 with an adjacent chain link 10, 10 'of the inner or. connected to the outer part.
To close the chain 1, an end link 10 ", 10" 'of the inner and outer part 2, 3 is hooked into the locking hook 9, 9. In order to keep the butt joint 8 of the chain 1 as small as possible, the side hooks 7 ', 7 "of the adjacent running section sections 6', 6" lying adjacent to it are connected to the locking hooks 9, 9 '.
As shown in Fig. 2, the connecting hook 9 is approximately C-shaped. It has two legs 11, 12 of different lengths. which are connected to one another via a web 13. The legs 11, 12 run parallel and at a distance from the web 13 that corresponds approximately to the thickness d of the suspended chain link 10.
The longer leg 11 is about twice as long as the shorter leg 12 and has the same thickness over its entire length. Its end face 14 runs obliquely such that it has an increasing distance from the leg 12 in the direction of the web 13 from the outer side 19 of the leg. The shorter leg 12 is broadened like a hook at its free end 15, in that its inner side 16 facing the web 13 runs obliquely to the web in the direction of the end face 17 of the leg.
The end face 17 of the leg 12 runs approximately perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the end hook 9 and lies opposite the end face 14 of the longer leg 11 at a distance.
The smallest distance, measured in the plane of the outer sides 19, 20 of the legs 11, 12, between the leg end faces 14, 17 is slightly larger than the cross-sectional thickness of the suspended chain links, which is therefore easy for closing and opening the chain 1 into one of the legs 11 and 12 limited insertion opening 21 can be inserted or moved out of it. The insertion opening 21 opens into a receiving opening 22 which is delimited by the inner sides 16, 23, 24 of the legs 11, 12 and the web 13 and part-circular curved inner sides 25, 26 of the cross web 27, 28 connecting the legs to the web. The outer sides 29, 30 of the transverse webs 27, 28 merge into the outer side 19, 20 of the legs 11, 12 and into the outer side 31 of the web 13 in a partially circular shape.
The transverse webs 27, 28 converge from the web 13 and each enclose an acute angle with a plane containing the outside 31 of the web 13. The part-circular inside 25 of the crossbar 27 forms a bottom of an opening section 33, the receiving opening 22, which is delimited by the leg 11, by the crossbar 27 and the adjoining region of the web 13 and in which the end link 10 "of the outer part 2 lies when the tire chain is mounted. The bottom 25 extends over more than 180 and adjoins the inner side 24, which runs parallel to the outer side 31 of the leg 13. Immediately adjoining the inner side 24 of the web 13, a recess is formed in this way, in which the suspended end member 10 " is secured.
The inside 24 extends to the level of the end face
14 of the leg 11 and merges into an edge section 37 of a U-shaped recess 38 which runs transversely to the longitudinal direction of the locking hook 9 and in which the associated side hook 7 'is suspended with two hook parts 39.
The bottom 40 of the recess 38 runs parallel to the outside 31 of the web 13 and has a smaller distance from the outside 31 than the bottom 25 of the opening section 33 in the region of the web. The depth of the recess 38 is preferably approximately equal to the radius of curvature r of the base 25. On the other hand, the recess 38 is only so deep that the hook parts 39 of the side hook 7 ′ protrude into the receiving opening 22. The receiving opening 22 extends in the longitudinal direction of the locking hook over a rounded edge 42 of the end face 17 of the leg 12 of the locking hook 9 to an edge section 43 which delimits the recess 38 and which lies transversely to the longitudinal direction of the locking hook.
The bottom 40 of the recess merges in a continuously curved manner into the edge sections 37, 43, which in turn continuously curve into the inside 24 and an edge section 44 of the receiving opening 22 which is approximately parallel to the inside 16 of the leg 12. This edge portion 44 is connected to the inside 16 of the leg 12 via the approximately semicircularly curved inside 26 of the cross piece 28. The inner sides 16, 26 and the edge section 44 delimit an opening section 41 of the receiving opening 22. All edges and corners of the locking hook 9 are rounded in order to damage the hooked chain links 10, 10 "and the hooked side hook 7 ', other chain links of the inside and To avoid the outer part 2, 3 and the running part 4. The locking hook can be produced easily and at low cost as a stamped part.
The longer leg 11 is at least about twice as long as the leg 12, but its length is always greater than the difference between the pitch t of the chain 1 and the thickness d of the attached chain links 10, 10 ". The leg 11 becomes the end link 10 "to open or
Close the outer part 2 until it reaches the opening section 33 of the receiving opening 22. This length of the leg 11 ensures that the end link 10 "cannot be unintentionally unhooked from the locking hook 9, since the end link can only move in the linkage structure in such a way that it moves in the longitudinal direction of the connecting hook 9 relative to it the end member 10 "are inclined relative to the locking hook 9, which is only possible if the end member is inclined by hand.
Since the legs 11, 12 run parallel to the web 13 and end at a distance from one another, that is to say none of the legs protrudes beyond the other, the locking hook 9 can be produced with little material expenditure and thus inexpensively. Since the locking hook 9 is not produced together with the chain links of the outer part 2, but as a separate part, it can also be produced independently of them from a different material and subjected to a different heat treatment. The hook parts 39 of the side hook 7 ′ protrude from the recess 38 into the receiving opening 22.
Since the leg 12 widens in the direction of the web 13, the distance between the adjacent hook parts 39 and the rounded edge 42 of the leg 12 is smaller than the cross-sectional thickness of the chain link 10 suspended in the opening section 41, which is thereby secured to the locking hook without additional securing parts . Should the chain link 10 be displaced in the direction of the leg f2 during operation of the tire chain, it strikes the hook parts 39 of the side hook 7 'projecting beyond the recess 38, so that the chain link is additionally secured against unintentional unhooking.
The locking hook 9a according to FIG. 3 differs from the hook 9 according to FIG. 2 in that the web 1 3a consists of two web sections 45 and 45, which are approximately the same length and extend in a V-shape with respect to one another, the outer sides 46 and 47 of which relative to the longitudinal center plane M, which goes through the bottoms of the opening sections 33a and 41a, the hanging opening 22a. have different inclinations. The outer side 46 of the web section 45 opposite the longer leg 1a lies in the exemplary embodiment at an angle of approximately 15 and the other outer side 47 at an angle P of approximately 30 to the plane M.
The legs I I a. 1 2a, the receiving opening 22a with the opening sections 33a, 41a and the inside 24a of the web 13a are of the same design as in the locking hook 9 according to FIG. 2.
The recess 38a is provided in the web section 45 ′ and extends obliquely to the receiving opening 22a. The bottom 40a of the recess 38a lies parallel to the outside 47 of the web section 45 '. The edge section 37a of the recess 38a adjoining the inside 24a of the receiving opening 22a lies obliquely to the longitudinal center plane M and is several times longer than the opposite edge section 43a, which merges into a part-circular inside part 44a of the opening section 41a. Due to the sloping bottom 40a of the recess 38a, a hooked-in side hook lies at an angle to the locking hook 9a.
The locking hook 9a according to FIG. 3 is therefore particularly suitable for chains with running section sections 6 (FIG. 1) which are arranged obliquely to the running direction of the running part 4. These running section sections can be hooked into the locking hook 9a via a side hook without the side hook jamming relative to the locking hook.
