BESCHREIBUNG

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a flexible foam insulating tube with associated fastening clamp.
Foam insulation pipes are used extensively today as heat insulation for heating or cooling pipe systems. Since the foam itself is very sensitive to impact and other environmental influences, the foam insulation pipes are provided with an outer protective film or the foam insulation pipes are wrapped with protective films after being applied to the lines.
The wall thickness of the foam insulation pipes used is designed according to the desired insulation efficiency and surrounds the conduit to be insulated evenly on all sides. Due to the new heating system ordinance (HVO), which came into force in June 1982, the thermal insulation of pipes must have certain thicknesses at a certain lambda value (X). This also applies to the false ceiling area, but only to the cold side. An example of this is the
Ceiling from the basement to the living area. According to the heating system regulation, there must be insulation to the basement, but not to the living room.
The object of the present invention is therefore a flexible
To provide foam insulation pipe that takes into account the thermal insulation regulations for false ceilings, i.e. that the insulation efficiency is greater, for example, in the basement than in the living area.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the inner cavity of the foam insulating tube is arranged eccentrically with respect to the tube wall, so that the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical inner cavity is offset parallel to the
Longitudinal axis of the pipe wall runs. To make sure that the thicker side of the foam insulation tube actually goes to the colder side during a later installation, e.g. B. to the basement side, comes to rest, the foam insulating tube according to the invention is at least somewhat flattened on this side.
So that the foam insulating pipe with the conduit located therein remains in the desired position, it is clamped into the fastening clamps which are fixed at a distance to the basement ceiling and which correspond in shape to the flattened pipe half.
The present invention thus relates to a flexible foam insulating tube with associated fastening clamp, which is characterized in that a) the inner cavity of the tube is arranged eccentrically with respect to the tube wall, so that the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical inner cavity runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tube wall, b) the part of the pipe coming to rest on the support is flattened and c) the shape of the fastening clamp bracket corresponds to that of the flattened pipe half, so that the flattened pipe half ensures firm hold of the foam insulating pipe after being pressed into the fastening clamp bracket
According to the invention, the advantage is additionally achieved
that despite compliance with the statutory thermal insulation regulations, lower screed heights are achieved with a lower overall height of the heat-insulated piping systems.
The foam insulating tube preferably has an outer protective jacket, which in particular consists of an abrasion-resistant film, for example one made of polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride or polyacrylonitrile. Of course, the protective jacket can also be formed by coextrusion or by quenching the foaming mixture on the molding tool. The outer protective sheath is important because, before the screed is poured, a large number of craftsmen walk over this insulation and there is a high risk of damage.
The foam insulating tubes according to the invention are preferably longitudinally slotted, the longitudinal slot being able to have any position parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tube. The longitudinal slot can completely or partially penetrate the wall of the foam insulating tube. In the case of only partial penetration, the slot can be cut open or torn open before assembly. The longitudinal slot is preferably provided on the underside of the foam insulating tube and in particular extends perpendicularly in the radial direction from the support side to the longitudinal axis of the foam insulating tube.
When using the foam insulation tubes according to the invention, they are either pulled over the tubes to be insulated in an unslotted state, or the longitudinally slotted foam insulation tubes are opened, folded into the tubes to be insulated and sealed with an adhesive tape.
The foam insulation tube itself can consist of any desired foam plastic. It preferably consists of a polyethylene. Instead of flexible plastic foams, it is of course also possible to use rigid foams, although it is then advantageous if the foam insulating tube is slit longitudinally in the manner described in German Patent 12 66 485. The foam insulating tubes according to the invention made of rigid, preferably rigid polyurethane foams with corresponding longitudinal slots can be produced, for example, in accordance with the procedure described in German Patent 12 66 485.
The flexible foam insulating tubes are preferably extruded according to the invention. The flattened side of the foam insulation tubes can be produced directly during the extrusion, or the tubular extrudates can be sawn off or milled off on the desired side.
According to a particularly preferred procedure, the extrusion tool is designed in such a way that a double foam insulating tube is extruded, the two foam insulating tubes being arranged mirror-invertedly opposite one another along a mirror plane. After the extrusion, the two connected insulating tubes are then separated. In this way, waste is avoided, as is the case with sawing or
Milling is the case.
The mounting clamps have a shape that corresponds to the flattened tube half. The width of these mounting clamps is about 2 to 3 cm, so that they can be attached to the ceiling by means of screws or the like. In practice, appropriate nails are shot in the ceiling. The clamps themselves are made of plastic, e.g. Polyvinyl chloride, or metal, e.g. As aluminum, both the plastic and the metal can be rigid or flexible. The mounting clamps are preferably also extruded and then cut to the desired width.
The invention is further explained on the basis of the figures, which represent a particularly preferred embodiment, but without restricting it. At the end of the description there is a compilation of the reference symbols used in the figures.
