BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a combined gas turbine steam system according to the preamble of claim 1.
In a plant of this type, the steam generator downstream of the coal gasification reactor is provided with a superheater in which the steam from the process gas is superheated to approximately 530 to 550 ° C. This steam, which has a pressure of approximately 90 bar, is fed to a steam turbine which also processes the steam generated in the waste heat boiler.
Optionally, both the downstream steam generator and the waste heat boiler can each have an intermediate superheater heating surface, in which partially expanded steam in the steam turbine is reheated before it is further expanded in a low-pressure steam turbine.
The high-pressure steam generation in the downstream steam generator and in the waste heat boiler is favorable in order to achieve the highest possible plant efficiency. Since the process gas mainly consists of carbon monoxide (CO) and contains some hydrogen (H2), nitrogen (N2) and hydrogen sulfide (hin), it is chemically reducing and has a strong corrosive effect in the high temperature range. This means that material problems due to corrosion can arise for the superheater and, if applicable, the intermediate superheater heating surface of the downstream steam generator.
The invention has for its object to improve a system of the type mentioned so that corrosion problems are reduced or even avoided.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
Because only saturated steam is generated in the downstream steam generator, the wall temperatures of the evaporator heating surface of the downstream steam generator remain so low that the inherently corrosive character of the hot process gas has practically no effect. By relocating the overheating from the downstream steam generator to the waste heat boiler, the corresponding heating surface is removed from the corrosive attack of the process gas. There is a gas atmosphere with excess oxygen in the waste heat boiler, in which the risk of corrosion at high temperatures is significantly lower than in the reducing atmosphere of the process gas. The arrangement according to the invention thus increases the operational reliability of the entire system. If the system is equipped with reheater heating surfaces, these too are only placed in the waste heat boiler.
The additional firing means that the thermal energy for the overheating of the saturated steam generated in the downstream steam generator is applied, so that the good system efficiency is maintained.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail in the following description with reference to the drawing, which shows a circuit diagram of a combined system.
The combined system has a turbo group 1, which consists of a gas compressor 2, a gas turbine combustion chamber 3, a gas turbine 4 and an electric generator 5 driven by the latter. The gas compressor 2, the gas turbine 4 and the generator 5 are arranged on a common shaft. At the outlet of the gas turbine 4, an exhaust gas line 6 is connected, which leads to a waste heat boiler 7, in which - viewed in the direction of the exhaust gas stream - an superheater 8, another superheater 8 ', an evaporator 9 and a feed water preheater 10 are arranged. The waste heat boiler includes a steam / water drum 11 to which the superheater 8, the evaporator 9 and the feed water preheater 10 are connected in a known manner. The superheater 8 is connected via a line 12 to a steam turbine 13 which drives an electric generator 14.
The outlet of the steam turbine 13 is connected to the feed water preheater 10 via a condenser 15, a feed pump 16 and a steam-heated preheater 17.
The combined system also includes a coal gasification reactor 20, to which the coal to be gasified is fed via line 21 and compressed oxygen gas via line 22. The reactor 20 is followed by a steam generator 23, the evaporator heating surface 23 of which is connected to a steam / water drum 24. In addition, the water space of the drum 24 is connected via lines 25 to the jacket of the reactor 20, which is cooled in this way. The steam generator 23 is supplied with preheated feed water via a line 27 which branches off from the feed water preheater 10 and opens into the drum 24. The further superheater 8 in the waste heat boiler 7 is connected to the steam chamber of the drum 24 via a line 26, the outlet of which is connected to the line 12 leading to the steam turbine 13.
For further cooling of the process gas generated in the reactor 20, a gas cooler 30 acted upon by cooled process gas and a further cooler 31 are provided behind the steam generator 23, at the outlet of which the process gas has approximately ambient temperature. The cooler 31 is followed in the process gas stream by an absorption device 32, in which hydrogen sulfide contained in the process gas is held. The process gas treated in this way passes via the cooler 30 and a line 33 to the combustion chamber 3, in which it is burned using the oxygen conveyed by the compressor 2. The gases generated in the combustion chamber 3 reach the gas turbine 4 for work.
In the line 6 between the outlet of the gas turbine 4 and the entry of the waste heat boiler 7, an additional burner 35 is provided, in which part of the process gas flowing in the line 33 is burned, which is supplied via a branch line 33 '.
In the operation of the system described, coal in a suitable form and oxygen are supplied to the coal gasification reactor 20, and a process gas is formed which mainly consists of carbon monoxide and contains small amounts of hydrogen, nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide. The gas emerging from the reactor 20 at more than 1000 ° C. is cooled to about 400 ° C. in the steam generator 23. In this way, only saturated steam is produced in the evaporator heating surface 23 ', through which the water from the drum 24 flows in natural circulation. The same applies to the water which flows through the lines 25 and cools the jacket of the reactor 20. After further cooling of the process gas in the coolers 30 and 31, it passes into the absorption device 32, in which it is freed from the hydrogen sulfide.
The process gas cleaned in this way is then burned in the combustion chamber 3 and in the additional furnace 35, the quantity burned in the additional furnace being between 10 and 40% of the quantity burned in the combustion chamber 3. With the gas generated in the combustion chamber 3, electric current is generated in the generator 5 with the help of the gas turbine 4. The resulting exhaust gas passes through the additional firing 35 into the waste heat boiler 7, in which it is first cooled from about 600 ° C. to 475 ° C.
During this cooling, both the steam generated in the evaporator heating surface 9 of the waste heat boiler and the steam generated in the downstream steam generator 23 are overheated, specifically in the superheaters 8 and 8 '. The two superheated steam quantities flow to the steam turbine 13, with the aid of which electrical current is generated in the generator 14. At the evaporator heating surface 9, the gas cools down to approximately 322 ° C., after which it leaves the waste heat boiler 7 at approximately 1200 ° C. after further cooling at the feed water preheater 10.
According to another embodiment of the system, the superheaters 8 and 8 'are combined to form a common heating surface by connecting the line 26 to the inlet of the superheater 8. Furthermore, it is possible to let the two steam generators work according to the forced circulation or forced passage principle instead of the natural circulation principle.
The step-by-step cooling of the process gas can be further expanded by the fact that an admixture of process gas takes place between the outlet of the reactor 20 and the inlet of the steam generator 23, which gas is removed between the cooler 31 and the absorber device 32.
