Abstract

The collapsible broom handle is particularly for a curling broom. It has metal tubes (1, 2, 3) forming the individual sections (I,II,III). These are coupled together by an internal screwthread (11) in the end of the first tube (1) and a cylindrical boss (42) fixed in the other, which is followed by an external thread (41). The boss is a sliding fit inside the first tube. It can be a press-fit and also glued in the second tube (2), having a groove (44) near the rear end for the glue (45). USE - Easy dismantling for transport and acts like a one-piece handle in use, without wobbling.

   BESCHREIBUNG



   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen zerlegbaren Besenstiel, insbesondere für eine Curlingbürste. Eine Curlingbürste ist eine Bürste von hoher Qualität und ist persönliches Eigentum des Spielers. Der Curlingspieler achtet sehr auf die Qualität seiner Bürste, da er mit ihr das Spiel beeinflussen kann. Falls er seine Bürste nicht in einem abschliessbaren Schrank versorgen kann, nimmt er seine Bürste mit nach Hause. Auch zu Auswärtsspielen nimmt er seine Bürste mit.



  Es ist für den Transport praktisch wenn der etwa einen Meter lange Stiel zerlegt werden kann.



   An einen solchen zerlegbaren Stiel werden ebenfalls hohe Anforderungen gestellt, er darf nicht wackelig sein, sondern sich wie ein einteiliger Stiel verhalten. Dies ist von besonderer Wichtigkeit, weil sich der Spieler bei der Steinabgabe teilweise auf den Besenstiel abstützt.



   Die Erfindung stellt sich daher zur Aufgabe einen zerlegbaren Besenstiel zu schaffen, der im zusammengesetzten Zustand ebenso solid ist wie, beziehungsweise dem Benützer das Gefühl eines einstückigen Stieles vermittelt. Er darf nie das Gefühl einer Wackelkonstruktion aufkommen lassen.



   Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe mit einem zerlegbaren Besenstiel, der die spezifischen Merkmale des Patentanspruches 1 aufweist.



   In der beigefügten Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstand dargestellt.



   Figur 1 zeigt die zusammenwirkenden Verbindungsteile und
Figur 2 eine Curlingbürste mit einem zusammengefügten, zerlegbaren Stiel in kleinerem Massstab.



   Der zerlegbare Stiel besteht aus drei Teilen, einen Teil I, der fest mit der Bürste verbunden ist, ein Zwischenstück II und ein Endstück III mit einem Griff. Die Verbindungselemente zwischen den Stielteilen I und II und zwischen den Stielteilen II und III sind gleichartig ausgebildet. Die Stielteile bestehen aus Leichtmetall-Rohrabschnitten. In Figur 1 sind beispielsweise die Verbindungselemente zwischen den Teilen I und II dargestellt. Das Verbindungsende des Rohrabschnittes des Zwischenstückes   list    mit 1, dasjenige des Endstückes II ist mit 2 bezeichnet. Im Innern des Teiles 1 ist ein Innengewinde 11 mit geringer Steigung angebracht.



   Im Rohrende 2 ist ein als Ganzes mit 4 bezeichneter Zapfen befestigt, von dem ein Ende mit einem Aussengewinde 41 und einem daran anschliessenden zylindrischen Schaft 42 aus dem Rohrende herausragt. Der Zapfen ist vorzugsweise einstückig aus Kunststoff hergestellt. Das Zapfenende 43 ist mit Pressitz in das Rohrende eingeschoben. In diesem Zapfenende ist eine Nut 44 ausgespart, die vor dem Einpressen mit einem Zweikomponenten Kleber 45 gefüllt wurde, sodass dieser beim Einpressen auf die Rohrinnenwand gelangt und eine zusätzliche Sicherung gegen ein Lösen des Zapfens darstellt. Der zylindrische Schaft 42 ist so dimensioniert, dass er mit Gleitsitz in den glatten Teil der Innenwand des Rohres 1 einschiebbar ist. Gegebenenfalls kann die Rohrinnenwand zentrisch zum Innengewinde 11 auf die Länge des zylindrischen Schaftes 42 ausgedreht sein.

 

   Beim Zusammenfügen, bzw. Ineinanderschieben und Verschrauben bietet eine so ausgebildete Verbindung eine dreifache Sicherheit gegen eventuelles Wackeln, nämlich durch das Feingewinde, durch den Gleitsitz des Schaftes 42 im Rohr 1 und durch das aufeinander Aufliegen der Rohrstirnseiten 12 und 21.



   Das Endstück III ist an seinem äusseren Ende mit einem Holzgriff 5 versehen, der in das äussere Ende 3 des Endstücks eingepresst und mit Kleber gesichert ist.



   Das untere Ende Stielteiles   list    fest mit dem Deckholz 62 der Bürste 6 verbunden. Das untere Ende ist schräg abgeschnitten und reicht bis zur Sohle 61 der Bürste. Dadurch ist die Verbindungsfläche zwischen dem Deckholz und dem Stielende so gross wie möglich und bildet zugleich eine Sicherung gegen Verdrehen des Stieles bezüglich der Bürste. 



  
 



   DESCRIPTION



   The invention relates to a collapsible broomstick, in particular for a curling brush. A curling brush is a high quality brush and is the personal property of the player. He also takes his brush with him to away games.



  It is practical for transport when the approximately one meter long handle can be dismantled.



   High demands are also placed on such a removable handle, it must not be shaky, but behave like a one-piece handle. This is of particular importance because the player partially leans on the broomstick when delivering the stone.



   The object of the invention is therefore to create a collapsible broomstick which, when assembled, is as solid as it is, or which gives the user the feeling of a one-piece handle. It must never give the feeling of a wobbly construction.



   The invention solves this problem with a collapsible broomstick, which has the specific features of claim 1.



   In the accompanying drawing an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown.

Figure 2 is a curling brush with an assembled, disassembled handle on a smaller scale.



   The removable handle consists of three parts, a part I, which is firmly connected to the brush, an intermediate piece II and an end piece III with a handle. The connecting elements between the handle parts I and II and between the handle parts II and III are of the same design. The stem parts consist of light metal pipe sections. In Figure 1, for example, the connecting elements between parts I and II are shown. The connecting end of the pipe section of the intermediate piece is 1, that of the end piece II is designated 2. Inside the part 1 there is an internal thread 11 with a small pitch.



   In the pipe end 2, a pin, designated as a whole by 4, is fastened, one end of which projects with an external thread 41 and an adjoining cylindrical shaft 42 from the pipe end. The pin is preferably made in one piece from plastic. The pin end 43 is pushed into the pipe end with a press fit. In this end of the spigot there is a groove 44, which was filled with a two-component adhesive 45 before being pressed in, so that it reaches the inner wall of the pipe when it is pressed in and represents an additional safeguard against loosening of the spigot. The cylindrical shaft 42 is dimensioned such that it can be slid into the smooth part of the inner wall of the tube 1 with a sliding fit. If necessary, the inner tube wall can be turned to the length of the cylindrical shaft 42 centrally to the internal thread 11.

 

   When assembling or pushing into one another and screwing, a connection designed in this way offers threefold security against possible wobbling, namely due to the fine thread, the sliding fit of the shaft 42 in the tube 1 and by the tube faces 12 and 21 resting on one another.



   The end piece III is provided at its outer end with a wooden handle 5, which is pressed into the outer end 3 of the end piece and secured with adhesive.



   The lower end of the handle part is firmly connected to the cover wood 62 of the brush 6. The lower end is cut obliquely and extends to the sole 61 of the brush. As a result, the connection area between the cover wood and the end of the handle is as large as possible and at the same time forms a safeguard against twisting of the handle with respect to the brush.

Claims

Zerlegbarer Besenstiel, insbesondere für eine Curlingbürste, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die einzelnen Teile (I, II, III) des Stieles Metallrohre (1, 2, 3) sind, und dass die zusammenwirkenden Verbindungselemente der Rohre jeweils ein, am Ende eines Rohres angebrachtes Innengewinde (11) und einen im Ende des anderen Rohres befestigten Zapfen (4) umfassen, dessen vorstehender Teil die Form eines mit Gleitsitz in das erstgenannte Rohr einschiebbaren zylindrischen Schaftes (42) hat, der in ein Aussengewinde (41) übergeht, das dem Innengewinde des erstgenannten Rohres entspricht.
