BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 eine Hysteresekupplung und
Fig. 2 ein Diagramm.
P
M = EV 2x
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a hysteresis clutch according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Hysteresis clutches are required in apparatus and machines in which silent running and slip occurring in the event of an overload are desired. They consist of a magnet wheel made of a hard magnetic material and a rotor ring made of a semi-hard magnetic material with permanent magnet properties with a low coercive field strength Hc and the highest possible remagnetization losses. The modulation field strength of the magnet wheel should be adapted to this coercive field strength Hc, so that the material of the rotor ring mentioned in the following hysteresis material can be completely magnetized by the rotating field of the rotating magnet wheel.
The properties of hysteresis clutches in comparison to hysteresis motors are described in the magazine ETZ-A, volume 87 (1966), pages 665 to 673, the coercive field strength Hc in operation should not be significantly above the modulation field strength Hma in both.
The invention has for its object to provide a hysteresis clutch, the torque is independent of manufacturing, temperature and aging-related variations in the geometry and material values of the magnet of the magnet wheel and which is particularly suitable for actuators in thermal engineering.
The invention is characterized in claim 1.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing. It means:
Fig. 1 is a hysteresis clutch and
Fig. 2 is a diagram.
1 consists of a magnet wheel 1 with two pairs of poles and a rotor ring 3 separated by an air gap 2. The magnet wheel 1 is driven by an axis 4, while an output shaft (not shown) is fixedly connected to the rotor ring 3. The drive and driven axles can also be arranged in reverse. The width of the magnet wheel is only slightly wider than that of the rotor ring 3 and symmetrical to it. Axial forces can thereby be avoided. The simple shape of the hysteresis coupling enables economical production.
The pole wheel 1 is made of a permanently hard magnetic material with a wide hysteresis curve. It consists of a cylinder made of a plastic-bonded ferrite, which can easily be produced in the desired shape by injection molding.
The rotor ring 3 is made from semi-hard magnetic hysteresis material, for example from a cobalt steel or cobalt vanadium steel with predominantly alternating hysteresis.
This steel has a narrow hysteresis curve and a large specific hysteresis work E.
The mode of operation of the hysteresis clutch according to FIG. 1 is explained on the basis of the diagram in FIG. 2. In this diagram, the specific hysteresis work E is entered in the vertical and the modulation field strength Hrnax of the rotor ring 3 is entered in the horizontal. The modulation field strength Hrnax differentiates between two sections, which are designated A and B. In the first section A, the coercive field strength Hc lies approximately in the middle of the ascending branch of the curve.
In the area of this section A, hysteresis clutches have so far been operated, and in general no control has been made up to the uppermost part of the ascending branch.
In contrast to the usual modulation in section A, the described hysteresis coupling works in section B, i.e. in a flattened area which, depending on the ratio of the specific hysteresis work E to the modulation field strength Hrnax, slightly decreases after the maximum due to a small proportion of rotational hysteresis, above the coercive field strength Hc . In this way it is achieved that the manufacturing, temperature and aging-related scattering of the geometry and material values of the magnet of the magnet wheel 1 have only a minimal effect on the torque of the hysteresis clutch. The entire volume of the rotor ring 3 is remagnetized with each revolution.
The torque M of a hysteresis clutch is calculated from the following relationship
P
M = EV 2x
Here P means the number of pole pairs, E the specific hysteresis work and V the volume of the rotor ring 3 made of the hysteresis material. The number of pole pairs P of the pole wheel as well as the volume V and the modulation field strength Hrnax and thus the hysteresis work E are fixed values for a given hysteresis clutch. According to the invention, a number of pole pairs P2 or P3 is selected, P2 meaning two pole pairs and P3 three pole pairs, with which the hysteresis clutch operates in the above-mentioned region B. With a higher number of pole pairs, e.g.
P4 with four pole pairs or PS with five pole pairs, the hysteresis clutch, as can be seen from FIG. 2, would not work according to the invention, but in the area A of the EHma curve, and the torque would therefore, in addition to other deviations, be particularly strongly influenced by temperature fluctuations.
This behavior would make it practically impossible to use the hysteresis clutch as an overload protection for actuators in heating technology.
