Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.

The present invention relates to a shedding device for a weaving machine, in particular jacquard machines with two rods connected at one end to the heald, which can be moved between an upper and lower position, with the flexible holding elements associated with the rods and held at one end in a holder. to hold the rods in an end position, the associated rods and holding elements being provided at the free end with complementarily designed sections which can be brought into engagement with one another, with a deflection device which is arranged between the holding elements and is held on the holder in order to Deflecting the holding elements relative to the rods and bringing the rods and holding elements assigned to one another into and out of engagement.
As is known, a shedding device for a jacquard machine contains two rods which are moved back and forth by assigned knives, are connected at one end to a strand guided over the pulley and have means at the other end to hold the rods in a position, a holding device which can be brought into and out of engagement with the means on the rods, and one
Control device for bringing the bars into and out of engagement with the holding device.
GB-A 2047 755 describes such a device, in which the holding device and control device is combined to form a single unit. This unit, hereinafter referred to as the control device, has two flexible holding elements and an electromagnet which is arranged between the holding elements in order to deflect the holding elements with respect to the electromagnet and to bring the holding elements and the rods into and out of engagement. The holding elements are attached at one end to a holder, from which the electromagnet also projects with an exposed core part. A hook and an opening are provided on the holding element and on the rod.
If a rod is raised by the associated knife during operation, the corresponding holding element will engage with its hook in the opening on the rod and hold the rod back when the electromagnet is de-energized. If, on the other hand, the electromagnet is excited, the holding element is pulled against the exposed core part of the electromagnet, so that the hook on the holding element cannot engage in the opening.
This embodiment essentially has the disadvantage that a relatively strong magnetic field has to be built up in order to pull both holding elements against the core of the electromagnet, whereby the weakening of the magnetic field has to be taken into account, which is caused by the non-synchronous tightening of the holding elements by the electromagnet and thus premature closure of the magnetic circuit on one side of the electromagnet is effected. This requires a high performance of the electromagnet, which results in a stronger and undesirable heating. There are limits to reducing the power consumption of the electromagnet by reducing the air gap, because a certain deflection movement is necessary because of the design of the hook and because the holding elements are made of magnetically hard material due to the spring action and their remanence is relatively large.
The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention, as characterized in claim 1, solves the problem of creating a shedding device of the type mentioned, in which the deflection of the holding elements takes place by a rotational movement of a device, which is brought about by an electric motor, which reduces the power consumption per shedding device and the undesirable heating is reduced.
The advantages of the present invention can be seen essentially in the fact that a relatively low supply voltage is required.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying figures. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a schematically illustrated first embodiment of a shedding device according to the invention and
Fig. 2 is a schematic representation of part of a second embodiment of the shedding device.
The invention in question is described using a double-stroke Offenbach jacquard machine. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the shedding device contains two rods 1 which are arranged at a distance from one another and can be moved back and forth by assigned knives 2. The bars
1 are connected in a known manner at one end to the heddle 3, which is guided via the block and tackle 4 providing the connection to the warp threads. On the other, the free one
End, the rods 1 are provided with an opening 5 and guided in a guide device, not shown.
A holding element 7 is assigned to each rod. The Hal teelemente 7 are at a distance which is substantially equal to the distance between the rods 1, cast at one end in a holder 8 made of plastic and at the other the free end with a hook 9, which in the opening
5 of the corresponding rod 1 can intervene.
Between the holding elements 7, a Auslenkvorrich device 10 is arranged, which consists of an electric motor 11 and a cam 12. The cam 12 is provided with two symmetrically formed cams 13 and befe on the output shaft of the electric motor 11
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the deflection device has two rotatable rollers 14 instead of the cam disk, which are fastened to the ends of a carrier element 15. These rollers 14 can be ball bearings and have the purpose of reducing the friction between the deflection device and the holding elements.
The electric motor 11 can be a synchronous motor or a stepper motor. In order to ensure the smooth running of the motors, a control device (not shown) is provided which contains a device which allows the speed of the motors to be adjusted. Such control devices are known per se and are therefore not described in detail.
The holding elements 7 consist of spring steel and are mounted under prestress, so that the holding elements 7 in the deflected state exert a restoring force in order to pivot the hooks 9 formed at the free end out of the movement path of the rods 1.
