Description
The invention relates to a building heated with solar energy.
In principle, every above-ground building is heated with solar energy, especially those with windows. Because both the surface of the building and the windows absorb solar energy. However, a building with a large window area has more heat loss than heat gain.
So far, all buildings heated with solar energy have had higher total production costs than those with conventional heating.
The aim of the invention is to reduce both the building costs and the heating operating costs.
This is achieved in that the building heated with solar energy with at least one heat accumulator, thermal insulation and solar energy collectors provides the average thermal insulation of the building through a heat transfer value of less than 0.35 W / ° Km2h of the roof or wall area and the area of the solar energy collectors is more than half the floor area of the building.

Mai 12.00 Uhr 1080 W/m2, It is known that the global radiation of the sun in Zurich on an area perpendicular to the radiation is: 1080 W / m2 on May 1st at 12:00 noon,
am 21. Dez. 12.00 Uhr 930 W/m2. on December 21, 12:00 p.m. 930 W / m2.
It follows that the maximum global radiation is available at around 1000 W / m2. It further follows that solar energy collectors, however high the power 15, cannot gain more than the existing radiation. So the optimal use is in large-scale solar collectors. However, those that cover the entire roof and facade to the south contradict the desire for a window arrangement to the south. It is also not optimal to arrange solar 20 energy collectors outside the building, because it is inexpensive to integrate them in the roof or in the facade.
The example described below shows an acceptable compromise between these requirements. In Fig. 1 25 is a floor plan of a medium-sized family home is shown with living room 1, kitchen 2, solarium 3, bedrooms 4.5, swimming pool 6, terrace 7 and solar energy collectors 8.9. It can be seen that there is enough window area facing south. Solarium 3 is a multi-purpose room with a glass facade and possibly a transparent roof.
Fig. 2 is a section according to I-I in Fig. 1, with a lower floor 10 and upper floors 11 and 12. At 13, the existing ground is indicated. The south side 14 of the roof is designed as a solar energy collector over the entire area. 35 Likewise, the north side 15 can be designed as a collector if it is used as a heat exchanger by means of a heat pump. The solar energy collectors of the basement 10 can be seen at 8.9.
Fig. 3 is a section II-II in Fig. 1, with the swimming pool 6 installed in the basement 40, the solar energy collector 8 and the upper floors 11 and 12.
Diese können einen Querschnitt von 6/10 It can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3 that by omitting a basement, considerable funds can be saved. The excavation is low, the foundations inexpensive. Since a heat store is provided in the building site under the building, which uses the existing building site as storage material, it cannot freeze. Therefore foundation walls are omitted, which otherwise have to reach into the frost-free depth. Operating costs can be kept low if the building is very well insulated. This not only reduces the operating costs, but also the construction costs and the capital service for the heating system. Until 1974, when heating oil was cheap and the environmental 55 protection was neglected, a k-value of 1.2 W / ° K m2h outer wall or roof was considered optimal. A 0.12 W / ° K m2h would be welcomed if the insulation costs were not too high. With reference to Fig. 4.5 it is explained how a k-value of 0.12 W / ° K m2h can be achieved without increasing costs, possibly cheaper than up to -6o. The wall 16 of the basement consists of insulating material such as gas concrete or insulating concrete. The plate 17 of the terrace 7 is arranged above this. This can consist of reinforced insulating concrete with polystyrene granulate. The walls of the upper floor are made of studs. The stands 19, consisting e.g. from 12/20 cm beams, stand on a belt made of gas concrete blocks 18. Crossbars 20 and 21 are attached to the stand 19. These can have a cross section of 6/10

cm aufweisen. The screws 23 must be corrosion-resistant. The outer skin 25 consists of sheet metal profiles which are screwed onto the crossbars 21 using stainless screws. The crossbars are spaced from 70 to 80 cm, the stands 19 from 1 m to 1.2 m. The ceiling beams 26 are fastened to the stands 19. The inner cladding, e.g. a wooden panel 27, nailed on. The crossbars 20 can advantageously be arranged somewhat closer, e.g. with intervals of 50 to 70 cm. There is a space of approximately 40 cm between the outer skin 25 and the inner lining 27. This is constantly stuffed with plastic bags filled with polystyrene granules when the panels are attached. The plastic bags are not filled to the brim, but only 2/3, which makes them slack. In this way, the intermediate space is easy, quick and almost completely fillable. It is important to ensure that the stand 19 and the crossbars 20, 21 are not completely encased.
Polyester. The spaces 28, 29, 30, 31 between the bags 32 and the wood serve for air circulation (FIG. 6). The air circulation is so low that it does not impair the thermal insulation of the wall, but is sufficient to allow the wood to breathe. The bags 32 form a closed insulating wall and are at the same time a vapor barrier. If necessary, an additional vapor barrier can be arranged at 45, e.g. a plastic film or a roofing felt. 5 and 6 show a wall section through the heat insulation 43 in bags 32. It is advantageous to have the polystyrene granules filled in plastic bags in the prescribed manner directly at the supplier. There are various suitable plastics for the sacks, e.g. Polyester.
The belt made of gas concrete blocks 18 prevents water from entering the housing.
5, the section (VI-VI in FIG. 2) is shown in FIG. 7. The rafters 33 carry the purlins 34 and 35. The solar energy collector 36, which acts like a double roof, is screwed onto the purlins 34. The inner lining 37, e.g. Panel, nailed. As in FIG. 6, the channels 38, 39, 40 serve for air circulation for the ventilation of the wood.
Für die Aussenhaut 25 (Fig. 4) stehen z.B. folgende Materialien zur Verfügung: For the outer skin 25 (Fig. 4) are e.g. the following materials are available:
Stahlblech-Profile, verzinkt und mit Einbrennlack versehen, Sheet steel profiles, galvanized and provided with stove enamel,
Aluminium-Profile, mit Einbrennlack versehen, Aluminum profiles, provided with stove enamel,
Asbest-Zement-Profile oder flache Platten, Asbestos-cement profiles or flat panels,
Glasfaserverstärkte Polyester-Profile und andere Kunststoffe. Glass fiber reinforced polyester profiles and other plastics.
55 All of these materials are available to the architect in a rich selection for design, with different colors, profiles and textures up to imitation brick and wood. These materials can also be used for the interior cladding, although wood paneling, chipboard and plasterboard are also useful here, the latter two of which can still be wallpapered. 55
As can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the thermal insulation 40 in the basement can be on average Im thick in the proposed manner.
In the basement in particular, an interior cladding 5 41 (FIG. 5) made of steel or aluminum sheets is advantageous, which have undercut ribs. Such rolled sheet metal profiles are known commercially under the brands HOLORIB and MONTANA-RIB. These ribs enable frames, furniture or mobile walls to be attached using special nuts. These pre-coated sheets are also a vapor barrier. Once installed, including the color coating with stove enamel, the m2 will stand at around CHF 27.
It makes sense to improve the insulation of the windows in a well-insulated house, since the greatest amount of heat escapes here. However, this is countered by the price of triple-glazed windows. For this reason, quadruple-glazed windows are used even less. In addition, the sealing and cleaning problem of triple and quadruple 20 glazed windows has not yet been solved satisfactorily.
It is therefore proposed to use double or triple-glazed windows with an additional reflective tape, taking into account the following heat transfer values:
2-fach Glas: k = 3,28 W/°K m2 h (2,38 kcal) 25 2-fach Glas mit k= 1,6 do. (1,38 kcal) Double glass: k = 3.28 W / ° K m2 h (2.38 kcal) 25 double glass with k = 1.6 do. (1.38 kcal)
Reflexfolie: Reflective tape:
3-fach Glas mit k= 1,16 do. (1,0 kcal) Reflexfolie: Triple glass with k = 1.16 do. (1.0 kcal) reflective tape:
30 These values are approximate. They depend on the window construction. A reflective film is a device which has a film with an evaporated, reflective metal layer, can be rolled up onto a roller blind, and is guided laterally in strips. Such reflective films are available on the 35 market under the brand name AGERO re-flex-rol.
A further reduction in heat loss is possible by using heat-insulating shutters. Those made of polystyrene or polyurethane 40 foam with an aluminum sheet on both sides are advantageous. They cost about Fr. 50. - per m2 and the 40 mm thick thermal insulation has a k-value of approx. 0.9 W / ° K m2h. Such dimensionally stable layer plates are also advantageous for garage doors.

Assuming a maximum heating capacity of less than 6 kW for the house, it should be able to be heated entirely with solar energy in many areas. This has been achieved so far, but is uneconomical, i.e. the investment costs were still too high.

The proposed wall constructions are therefore cheaper than known ones, although they insulate about 10 times better. The roof costs correspond to the known constructions, also with several times improved thermal insulation.
The entire solar heating system is cheaper than a conventional oil central heating system.
An oil-heated bath oven with bowl burner and hot water boiler serves as a replacement heater. The well-known brand WALMÜ plus 2000 has an output of up to 11.6 kW and can therefore easily cover the heat requirement of up to 6 kW of the proposed house. This stove model costs approx. CHF 600.-, installed approx. CHF 1000.-. It can be used for water heating and room heating at the same time.
A gas-heated bath oven can also be used, with several practical models being commercially available.
