REVENDICATIONS

CLAIMS
1. Agitator for mechanical and thermal treatment, in particular for poorly liquid food products, agitator formed by an axis (1) driven by a motor (2) and carrying blades (7), characterized in that the axis (1 ) is formed of a double cylinder (6, 61, 62) carrying blades (7), this double cylinder (6) being terminated at its upper part by a dispensing head (7a), received free to rotate in a sleeve cylindrical (8), in rotation, and comprising an annular supply chamber (12) and an annular reception chamber (19), these two chambers being connected to a circuit (9) of heat transfer fluid, the head (7a) being provided with passages (13, 18), communicating respectively the internal volume and the external volume of the double cylinder (6) with the heat transfer fluid circuit (9).
2. Agitator according to claim 1, characterized in that the head (7a) of the axis (1) is provided with a flange (3) fixed to a corresponding flange (4) carried by the axis (5) of the motor (2).
The invention relates to a mechanical and thermal treatment stirrer, in particular for the treatment of poorly liquid food products, consisting of blades mounted on the axis of a motor.
Agitators are already known for treatment tanks provided with a rotary central axis provided with propellers making it possible to spray the products onto the double walls of the tank to heat or cool the products. It is therefore necessary that there is a heat exchange between the product and the tank, and that the treatment tank is double-walled for the circulation of the coolant for cooling or heating the product.
However, these treatment tanks have been shown to be ineffective, in particular for working extremely thick products and which therefore do not promote heat exchange.
The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks and proposes to create a treatment stirrer, in particular for relatively thick and not very fluid food products, making it possible to facilitate and significantly improve heat exchanges.
To this end, the invention relates to a treatment agitator, in particular for food products of the type comprising a propeller mounted on the axis of a motor, characterized in that the axis is formed by a double cylinder carrying blades, this double cylinder being terminated at its upper part by a distribution head, received freely in rotation in a cylindrical sleeve, in rotation, and comprising an annular supply chamber and an annular reception chamber, these two chambers being connected to a circuit of heat transfer fluid, the head being provided with passages communicating respectively the interior volume and the exterior volume of the double cylinder with the heat transfer fluid circuit.
The present invention will be better understood using an embodiment of a treatment agitator according to the invention, shown diagrammatically, by way of nonlimiting example in the single appended figure which is a sectional view of the agitator showing the axis and the attachment of a blade
According to the figure, the agitator consists of an axis 1 connected to a drive motor 2 via a flange 3 fixed at its upper end and associated with a flange 4 carried by the axis 5 of the motor 2.
The main part of axis 1 consists of a double tube 6 carrying the blades 7 forming a helix (a single blade is shown in the figure).
In its upper part, below the flange 3, the agitator 1 comprises a supply core 7a, housed in a sleeve 8, fixed in rotation, ensuring the distribution and collection of the heat transfer fluid passing through the circuit 9 through an exchanger 10.
The heat transfer fluid circulates in the direction of the arrows, that is to say that it enters through the nozzle 11 of the distributor sleeve 8, to arrive in a peripheral enclosure 12 into which the orifice (s) 13 of the central duct 14 open. of the double cylinder 6. The heat transfer fluid then enters through the orifice 15 in the blade 7 subdivided into two chambers 71, 72 by an intermediate partition 73, so as to exit through the orifices 16 opening into the external chamber. l7 of the cylinder 6. From there, the heat transfer fluid rises to pass through the orifice 18 in the annular chamber 19 and, from there, in the nozzle 21 connected to the circuit 9.
In general, the chambers 14 and 17 of the double cylinder 6 should not communicate; these chambers are therefore closed and separated each in the lower part of the cylinder 6 by a partition 22.
In reality, the length of the agitator and in particular of the double cylinder 6 depending on its use, several stages of blades forming helices can succeed one another along the axis. Likewise, the shape of the blades is not necessarily identical. Some blades can be intended to treat the material at the center of the tank, others at the wall of the tank, etc.
The connection between the core 7a of the axis 1 and the corresponding surface of the fixed sleeve 8 is sealed by seals 23.
According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the head 7a is produced by machining, while the double cylinder 6 is constituted by two coaxial tubes 61, 62 welded to the head 7a.
It is also possible to extend the head 7a by tube elements corresponding to the position of the tubes 61, 62 and to terminate the outer element with a flange, the inner element with a shoulder, and to provide the double cylinder 6 d 'an outer flange, the inner tube 62 being connected to the outer tube 61 by spacers not shown.
According to the uses of the agitator according to the invention, the assembly constituted by the axis 1 provided with its blades 7, as well as the motor 2 and the distributor sleeve 8, is generally fixed to the lifting or tilting cover of the tank in which treatment takes place.
