Hilfselementen,
Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht der Einheit nach Fig. 1,
Fig. 4 zwei durch ein Winkelelement verbundene Rotationseinheiten.
Fig. 3 vereinigt.

The invention relates to a manipulator consisting of at least one movement element assembled according to the modular system and an actuating element.
Manipulators, also called robots or handling devices, are particularly used where human work, be it for economic or environmental reasons, is to be replaced.
A manipulator is already known from DE-OS 2202 848, which consists of four types of movement elements which can only be assembled to a limited extent and only in a certain order. Here it is e.g. B. required to erect the vertical support column first.
DE-PS 2 301 423 shows a manipulator which, together with an actuating element, from at least one linear element and a rotary element according to the modular system, i. H. can be put together in any order.
It is an object of the invention to propose the creation of a Mani pulator of the type mentioned, by
Consumers can be assembled themselves in any order, is inexpensive to manufacture and is uncomplicated. In addition, not only a point control, but also a path control should be realizable in a simple manner.
The object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of claim 1. Further advantageous and inventive developments emerge from the dependent claims.
Since the manipulator only has movement elements of one type, such a modular system becomes uncomplicated or easier to understand. By concentrating on just one type, such a modular system can also be produced very economically. With three such units, all points in the room must be approached. Two additional units enable translatory movement. An obstacle can be easily reached. The manipulator is suitable for a point control, but also for a path control, e.g. B. where certain
Lanes must be repeated as with painting work, etc.
The invention is based on one in the

The manipulator 1 according to FIG. 3 is an arbitrary composition of rotation units 2, which can correspond to the given conditions at the consumer. Each Rota tion unit 2 has two disc-shaped parts 3 and 4, which around a common, formed by a bolt 8

At least one fastening point in the form of a bore 20 is provided on the end face 10 and on the side face 21 of each of the parts 3, 4, into which a spacer in the form of a tube 22 can be inserted or screwed.
A bayonet lock is advisable. Instead of the BEFE stigungsstellen representing holes 21 can also
Flange connections are used. In order to achieve universal interchangeability when using flange connections, there is at least one straight, flat surface on the cylinder-shaped side surface 21
26 has been provided. Continuous dovetail grooves can also be milled out on the end face.
Advantageously, clamping connections 25 spanning the side surface (FIG. 3), optionally with internal teeth 30, can also be used.
For strength considerations, different types of rotation units 2 are in a manipulator
Fig. 3 united. The largest version of the Rotationsein unit 2a is screwed to the floor by means of a mounting plate 27, but can also be attached to a side wall or to the ceiling. The Rotationsein unit 2a can also, if the strength allows, by a smaller type, for. B. 2b or 2c to be replaced. A spacer can also be assumed first.
The order of the parts used is therefore not important.
The rotation units are by means of spacers,
e.g. B. tubes 22 connected together. The system includes pieces of pipe of one unit length of different thicknesses. Thicker pipes 28 can be inserted into smaller bores 20 by means of fitting pieces 29. The pipe sections can also be assembled to larger pipe lengths using sockets. It would also be possible to deliver only the fitting pieces 29 or connecting flanges to which the consumer then welds the desired pipe length. It can be advantageous if the spacers are also curved. It is also expedient to fix mutually fitting and longitudinally displaceable metal profiles on each other to the desired length.
Angle pieces 34 are also provided (FIG. 4), which are connected to the end faces of two rotary units 2. They are, like the spacers 22, 28, the fastening plate 27, the fitting pieces 29 and flanges, auxiliary elements.
The manipulator shown in FIG. 3 can use the rotation units 2a (axis of rotation in the Z direction), 2b (axis of rotation in the X direction), 2c (axis of rotation in the X direction) to approach all points in space. A translatory movement can be carried out with the two additional rotation units 2d and 2e. A gripper 35 is connected to the rotation unit 2e via a further rotation unit 2f. The rotation unit 2f and the gripper 35 are integrated with one another and together form an actuating element. If further degrees of freedom are required on the gripper, a set of three smaller dimensioned, perpendicular to each other and operationally connected rotation units can be provided, possibly integrated with the gripper.
Two interconnected longitudinal displacement elements acting at right angles to one another can also be combined as fine positioning elements for adjustment with one or more rotary elements to form a gripper unit.
The simplest version of a manipulator is already provided with a rotary unit and an actuating element. Adding more units of the same type make the modular system ever more versatile.
For heavy versions, bearings such. B. needle bearings, between the contact surfaces of the parts 3, 4 may be provided.
The rotation of a rotary unit with respect to a spacer would be technically solvable, but it is expensive and unnecessary.
A known type of drive control and distance measurement can be used. No further details will be given here. Hydraulic or pneumatic drives can be used instead of a stepper motor.
