REVENDICATIONS

CLAIMS
1. Universal fixing collar, characterized in that it comprises two halves fixed to one another using two screws, one of the halves comprising a nozzle provided with a large diameter thread having a gas thread, as well as a metric internal thread of smaller diameter, and by the fact that it still includes removable insulation tabs.
2. Collar according to claim 1, characterized in that the tabs are entirely of elastically deformable insulating material.
3. Collar according to claim 1, characterized in that the tabs comprise a stud of insulating material, as well as a stirrup in a deformable material for their attachment to the halves of the collar.
4. Collar according to claim 1, characterized in that the end piece has two threads, one external and the other internal.
The problem of fixing water or heating pipes and electrical pipes are usually solved by fixing collars. The difficulty lies in the fact that it is necessary to have a large number of different collars, according to their diameter, their fixing, whether they are insulated or not, etc. This requires a large number of collars in stock, therefore immobilization of equipment and often loss of time, the fitter does not have the appropriate collar with him on the site.
The subject of the present invention is a universal fixing collar, characterized in that it comprises two halves fixed to one another using two screws, one of the halves comprising a nozzle provided with a large diameter gas thread as well as a metric internal thread of smaller diameter, and by the fact that it still includes removable insulation tabs.
The accompanying drawing illustrates schematically and by way of example an embodiment and variants of the fixing collar.
Figure 1 is a perspective view partially in section of the fixing collar.
Figure 2 illustrates a collar isolation tab shown in Figure 1.
Figure 3 partially illustrates a variant of the fixing collar.
Figure 4 is a section along line A-A of Figure 3.
Figure 5 is a section along line B-B in Figure 4.
Figure 6 is a partial view of a variant of the fixing collar.
The universal fixing collar illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises two halves 1, 2 each comprising a semi-circular part 3, 3t and two fixing lugs 4,4 '. The tabs 4 of the upper half 1 have a bore 5 while the tabs 4 'of the lower half 2 have threads 6. Screws 7 make it possible to fix the two halves 1, 2 to each other and to grip a tube or pipe.
The lower half 2 has a metric thread 8 made directly in its wall. A nozzle 9 is welded to the outside of the lower half 2, approximately concentric with the thread 8 and has a gas thread 10 of larger diameter.
Thus, the fixing collar 1, 2 can be fixed either using a M10 threaded rod for example or using a 1/2 inch threaded tube for example.
When the collar is fixed using a threaded rod II, a nut 12 and a washer 13 are provided.
The universal collar also includes insulation tabs 14 removably attached to the halves 1, 2 of the collar.
In this embodiment, these tabs each comprise a stud 15 of insulating, elastic or slightly compressible material as well as a fixing bracket 16 whose ends 17 are foldable. These tabs are fixed like jumpers inside the halves 1, 2 and the tabs 17 are bent so as to fix these tabs on said halves 1, 2 of the collar.
The material, generally metallic, malleable, of the stirrups 16, 17 makes it possible to fix and remove the tabs from the collar at will.
Thus, in addition to these two fixing methods, the collar can be used either as a simple collar or as an insulated collar as required. In addition, if necessary, the lugs 14 make it possible to adapt the diameter of a collar to the diameter of the pipe to be fixed.
In the variant of the collar illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, the tabs 14 are constituted by collars entirely of elastically deformable insulating material which can be put on and removed from the halves 1, 2.
In the variant illustrated in FIG. 6, the lower half 3 ′ of the collar has a hole in which a stud 18 is riveted comprising a metric thread 19 and an external gas thread 20. A threaded socket 21 can be screwed onto this stud. In this way, the collar can be fixed either on a metric threaded rod, on an internally gas threaded tube or on an externally gas threaded tube.
