Abstract
The stator (6) of the motor is produced from a non-ferromagnetic material, and there are arranged in its body bearings (10, 11) of the rotor, which is designed in the form of two discs (1, 2) with heteropolar magnet poles facing one another. Arranged in the stray field of the rotor magnets (4) on the periphery of the end faces of the stator winding are toothed rings (14, 15) which form an arrester for stopping the rotor in the event of a deenergised winding of the stator (6). This winding can represent a uniform coil having an oval, triangular or other non-round shape. <IMAGE>
