Fig. 1 in perspektivischer Darstellung ein Sicherungselement nach der Erfindung;
Fig. 2 im Schnitt das Sicherungselement zusammen mit einer zwei Teile verbindenden Innensechskantschraube im gesicherten Zustand;
Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 2; und

PATENT CLAIMS
Anti-rotation element for hexagon socket screws, characterized by a cylindrical cup (1) with a central hole (7) for the screw bolt to accommodate the screw head to be secured, with at least two plastically deformable tabs that extend in the direction of the shell lines of the cup, one of which ( 5) for engagement in an incision (15) or in a bore can be bent outwards and the other or the other tabs (4) is or are dimensioned such that he or she is deformed to bear against the hexagon socket of the screw head can or can.
In the field of valve manufacturing, countersunk Allen screws are sometimes used to connect parts of the valve. To secure these screws against automatic loosening, a hole is drilled in the direction of a surface line of the screw head, partly in this and partly in the material surrounding the head, and a pin is pressed into this hole. If the fuse thus formed is removed by drilling out the pin, the problem arises when the screw is reused that the two halves of the bore no longer match when tightened again, so that a new hole has to be drilled. This causes the part that surrounds the screw head to suffer.
It is an object of the invention to provide a securing element for hexagon socket screws which is easy to handle and does not require any machining action on the screw or the part surrounding it to loosen and tighten the screw.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a cylindrical cup, dimensioned for receiving the screw head to be secured, with a central hole for the screw bolt, with at least two plastically deformable tabs extending in the direction of the generatrices of the cup, one of which for engagement in an incision or in one hole can be bent outwards and the other or the other tabs is or are dimensioned such that he or she can or can be deformed to bear against the inner edge of the screw head.
This design of the securing element enables it to be assembled in a simple manner. To loosen the element, only the tabs overlapping the screw head have to be bent back without machining being necessary. Without such processing, the screw can be reused, regardless of how tightly it is tightened again.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in the following description with reference to the drawing. Show it:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a fuse element according to the invention.
Figure 2 in section the securing element together with a two-part hexagon socket screw in the secured state.
Fig. 3 is a plan view of Fig. 2; and
4 and 5 view and end face of a striker for driving in the rag into the hexagon socket.
According to FIG. 1, the anti-rotation element consists of a cup 1 with a cylindrical wall 2 and with a bottom 3 having a central hole 7. Three tabs 4 extend from the upper edge of the wall 2 in the direction of surface lines. A fourth, somewhat shorter tab 5 is partially worked out of the wall 2 by two incisions 6. The tab 5 can be easily bent outwards during the manufacture of the securing element 1.
According to FIGS. 2 and 3, a hexagon socket screw 8, using the securing element 1, connects a cover 10 with a flange 11, which is provided with a thread 12 for the screw 8. The cover 10 has a through hole 13 which merges into a cylindrical countersink 14 for receiving the securing element 1 and the screw head 16. At one point the edge of the countersink 14 is interrupted by a radial incision 15 which, for. B. was generated by a grinding wheel.
During assembly, the securing element 1 with the slightly bent tab 5 is first inserted into the countersink 14 such that the tab 5 projects into the radial incision 15. Now the hexagon socket screw 8 is screwed in, the tab 5 is punched into the incision 15 to the bottom with the aid of a mandrel, and then the screw 8 is tightened to the desired dimension. Then the tabs 4 are bent, for example with a screwdriver, over the head 16 of the screw 8 and finally with a mandrel or with a striker, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, hammered into the hexagon socket so that the tabs 4 come into contact with this.
4 and 5 carries at its working end a short hexagon 22 protruding from its flat end face 21, which is well rounded at the lower end and whose wrench size is a little smaller than the wrench size of the hexagon socket screw 8 reduced by two flap thicknesses A pentagonal guide profile 23 protrudes from the end face of the hexagon 22. Two striking surfaces forming sides 24 and 25 of the profile 23 run parallel to two surfaces of the hexagon 22 and jump over it by the thickness of the tab 4. Two further sides 26, 27 of the guide profile 23 likewise run parallel to two sides of the hexagon 22, but at a considerably smaller distance from one another than the corresponding sides of this hexagon.
The fifth side 28 of the profile 23 merges into the end face of the hexagon 22. The end face of the guide profile 23 thus runs obliquely with respect to the flat end face 21 of the striker 20.
When using the striker 20, the surfaces 24 and 25 of the guide profile 23 are placed on two hexagonal surfaces of the hexagon socket screw 8 free of tab 4 and then the tabs 4 bent over the screw head 16 by one or more blows on the striker 20 by means of its hexagon 22 in driven the hexagon socket.
