PATENTANSPRÜCHE

PATENT CLAIMS
1. A bag with a closable closure that can be opened without damage, characterized in that on the inside of the closure end (9) of the bag, a strip piece (8) that is adhesive on both sides is applied, the free side of which is covered by a removable protective film (5); and that to form an adhesive flap (15) two incisions (11) are arranged next to the lateral edges of the strip piece (8) in the bag such that after the closure end (9) has been folded over twice by a fold width (13) and after the protective film ( 5) the adhesive tab (15) can be brought into a releasable adhesive connection with the bag surface.
2. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that the length of the incisions (11) running parallel to the edges of the strip piece (8) corresponds at least approximately to the fold width (13) of the closure end (9).
3. Bag according to claim 1, characterized in that a further piece of strip (7) is arranged as a bottom reinforcement in the bottom end (10) of the bag.
4. A process for the production of the bag according to claim 1, characterized in that strip sections which are adhesive on both sides and are protected on one side by peelable films are applied at regular intervals, and that in addition to the lateral edges of the strip sections, two incisions are cut into the bag, whereby the length of the incisions corresponds at least approximately to the fold width of the bag closures.
5. The method according to claim 4, characterized in that the band is separated into regular lengths, and that the separating cuts are made through the strip sections in order to divide the latter into a section with associated cuts and a section without cuts.
6. The method according to claim 5, characterized in that the tape lengths are folded and glued to the bag, the sections being worked into the latter without incisions to reinforce the bag bottom.
The invention relates to a bag with a closable closure that can be opened without damage and to a method for its production.
In known paper bags for food or the like, e.g. for breadcrumbs, of which only a part is removed during use and which are closed again after use, the closures are designed so that the closure ends, e.g. can be bent several times using inserted metal rods. Such closures are expensive to manufacture and are not practical to handle. They are particularly labor-intensive when the bag is closed for the first time after machine filling.
Other bags are glued or sealed after filling, but this means that a satisfactory seal can no longer be achieved after repeated use.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a bag in which the aforementioned disadvantages are avoided.
According to the invention, this is achieved in such a way that a strip piece that is adhesive on both sides is applied to the inside of the closure end of the bag, the free side of which is covered by a removable protective film, and that two incisions are arranged next to the lateral edges of the strip piece in the bag to form an adhesive flap that after the closure end has been folded over twice by a fold width and after the protective film has been removed, the adhesive flap can be brought into a releasable adhesive connection to the surface of the bag.
To produce such a bag, a method is proposed which is characterized in accordance with the invention in that strip sections which are adhesive on both sides and are protected on one side by peelable films are applied at regular intervals, and that in addition to the lateral edges of the strip sections, two cuts are made in the bag are, the length of the incisions at least approximately corresponds to the fold width of the bag closures.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. Show it:
1 is a paper tape, on the inside of which adhesive tape sections are glued at regular intervals,
2 the front of a finished bag in a flat state before filling and closing,
3 shows the back of the bag according to FIG. 2 after the end of the bag has been folded over once, the adhesive tab protruding from the top, and
4 shows the back of the bag according to FIG. 2, which has been closed after the end of the closure has been folded over twice, the adhesive flap adhering to the surface of the bag.
For the automatic production of a paper bag with a self-adhesive closure, 3 adhesive strip sections 4 are applied at regular intervals on a paper tape 2 which is moving in the running direction 1 (FIG. 1).
The adhesive strip sections 4 are adhesive on both sides, so that they adhere immediately to the paper tape 2 when they are applied. The free sides of the adhesive strip sections 4 are protected by a peelable film 5. The distances 3 correspond to the paper lengths required to produce the individual bags.
When the paper tape 2 is cut along the dividing line 6, the adhesive strip section 4 is divided into two sections 7 and 8, one section 8 belonging to the closure end 9 of a first bag and the other section 7 intended for the bottom end 10 of a second bag.
Simultaneously with the application of the adhesive strip section 4, two incisions 11 are punched into the paper tape 2 in addition to the lateral edges thereof and parallel to these. The length of these incisions 11 corresponds approximately to the length of the strip section 8 or approximately the fold width 13 of the closure end 9.
The actual adhesive tab 15 is formed by the incisions 11, which consists of the section 8 of the strip section 4 and the paper of the closure end adhering to the section 8.
The further processing of the paper tape in a known and not to be described in detail leads, after the folding and gluing of the bottom end 10 to the block bottom and after inserting the side walls 14, to the finished and stackable flat bag according to FIG. 2. This can be done directly in the automatic process brought to a filling station or stored for later filling.
After filling, the bag can be closed in a few operations by folding the closure end twice, either mechanically or manually.
The first folding over of the closure end 9 by the fold width 13 leads to the adhesive tab 15 projecting upward, as shown in FIG. 3. After removal of the protective film 5, the closure end 9 is folded a second time around the fold line 16, as a result of which the adhesive flap 15 is brought into adhesive connection with the bag surface.
The above-described bag with self-adhesive closure allows the bag to be opened and closed several times without damaging it, as is the case with conventional glued or sealed edge closures.
This is particularly important if the contents of the bag are not used up all at once and the bag is closed again
must be. The self-adhesive closure allows the filling company to quickly close the bag with four hand movements, while glue otherwise has to be applied or additional operations are required with a sealing device. The printing, the faconnage and the attachment of the self-adhesive closure take place fully automatically in one work step, so that there are hardly any additional costs.
The portion 7 of the adhesive strip section 4 remaining in the bottom end serves to reinforce the bottom part of the bag.
