Fig. 3 die Vorderansicht der erfindungsgemässen Rosette,
Fig. 4 einen Schnitt nach der Linie IV-IV in Fig. 3.

The present invention relates to a rosette for doors that are equipped with a cylinder lock.
In the previously known rosettes of the type mentioned at the outset, it is relatively easy to destroy the cylinder lock by means of suitable tools or machines to such an extent that the locking bars are free and the door can be opened.
It is therefore not too much of a problem for a burglar to open a door provided with a cylinder lock and a standard rose.
The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a rosette of the type mentioned above, which makes it so difficult to forcibly open the door by destroying the cylinder lock that even with the aid of suitable tools, this project can only lead to success with a considerable expenditure of time.
The solution to this problem is, according to the invention, that the rosette consists of a solid inner part and a likewise solid, annular outer part which is freely rotatable with respect to the inner part, but cannot be moved axially.
The advantages achieved with the invention are essentially that on the one hand, due to the massive design of the inner part and the outer part, it is extremely difficult to get to the cylinder lock encompassed by the rosette and that, on the other hand, the rotatable outer part provides further protection against violent destruction of the Cylinder lock is given, since the rotatable outer part makes it extremely difficult to apply a tool, such as a pair of pliers.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawings and is described in more detail below.
Show it:
1 shows a rosette according to the invention fastened to a door in vertical section,
FIG. 2 shows the rosette according to FIG. 1, seen from the support side,
3 shows the front view of the rosette according to the invention,
FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 3.
The rosette 1 according to the invention shown in the drawings consists essentially of an inner part 2 and an outer part 3.
Both the inner part 2 and the outer part 3 are made of solid material, which results in a very solid design of the rosette 1. The inner part 2 is provided with a cylinder lock guide 4 which is advantageously designed to protrude beyond the support surface of the inner part so that the cylinder lock is also encased inside the door leaf 5. To attach the inner part 2 to the door leaf 5, two threaded bores 6 are provided which only partially protrude into the inner part 2, so that these threaded bores 6 cannot be seen from the outside of the inner part.
In order to prevent the fixed rosette 1 from being removed by drilling out the fastening screws 7, hard metal balls 8 are arranged in the threaded bores 6, which can rotate freely and thus make the application of a drill extremely difficult or completely impossible. So that these hard metal balls 8 cannot fall out of the threaded bores 6 during the transport of the rosette 1 according to the invention, the hard metal balls 8 are secured by a threaded insert 9 which is inserted into the inner part 2 after the hard metal balls 8 have been inserted.
The outer part 3 is freely rotatable with respect to the inner part 2, but not axially displaceable, since the inner part 2 is provided on its outer side with a collar 10 which prevents the outer part 3 from being displaced outwards, while the outer part 3 is displaced inwards by the Door leaf 5 is made impossible. This rotatability of the outer part 3 in conjunction with the solid design of both the inner part 2 and the outer part 3 provides very effective protection against violent destruction of the cylinder lock, as it is extremely time-consuming to get to the cylinder lock even with the use of suitable tools.
The optimum protection that can be achieved by a rosette 1 as described above is achieved when both the inner part 2 and the outer part 3 are made of hard metal.
