Abstract

The pantograph for the overhead line for a traction vehicle as in the main patent, includes a protective housing (20) with a vertical pivot arm (28) projecting downwards from it, connected is a horizontal arm (27) also projecting from it, carrying a counter-weight (22). The connection between them includes a lever (27') pivoting on the casting. The horizontal arm has the counterweight (22) supported on it so that it can be adjusted by sliding alont it. The other end has a pivot (18) by which it is connected to the lever (27'). The top of the vertical arm is similarly connected by a pivot (29) to the other end of the lever. The arrangement is designed to reduce oscillation of the pantograph.
