The invention relates to a spacer for concrete reinforcements. Consists of a support body made of plastic for spacing and fixing reinforcing bars in relation to the formwork surfaces.
Spacers for supporting and fixing reinforcing bars have been known for a long time in very many embodiments. One of the most common known designs consists of a solid concrete block with cast metal wires for fastening the reinforcing bars. It is also known to produce these blocks from plastic, wherein they have cavities for material recess, while the metal wire is connected in a suitable manner to the plastic block. e.g. by welding. The disadvantage here is that these plastic blocks do not have sufficient strength and can therefore be damaged or destroyed.
In addition to the known spacers mentioned, spacers made of plastic are also known. which are essentially given a tubular design. In terms of strength, such a design is generally sufficient, but they are usually material-intensive, especially if they are designed with tabs and recesses for receiving the reinforcing bars. This is disadvantageous. that these recesses can only be used for a few diameters of reinforcing bars, so that a different size of the spacer is required for other diameters.
The invention is based on the object of designing a spacer for concrete reinforcement in such a way that the same embodiment of the spacer can be used for all practically occurring diameters and, despite the lowest possible cost of material, sufficient strength to absorb the stresses occurring when laying reinforcement bars and also good stability having.
This problem is solved. that the support body of the spacer has a centrally arranged support pillar. which is provided with at least approximately radially protruding support webs for position stabilization.
The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing with the aid of some exemplary embodiments and is described below. It shows:
Fig. 1 is a side view of a spacer with a wire bracket for connecting the spacer to the or
the reinforcement bars,
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the spacer in Fig. 1 with four radially extending support webs,
3 shows a plan view of a spacer similar to the spacer according to FIG. 1. but with three radially extending support webs, and
4 shows a side view of a spacer similar to that according to FIG. 1, but with the upper edge of the support webs, which has a concave shape, for supporting the reinforcement bars running obliquely and in a straight line.
The spacer according to FIG. 1 has a centrally arranged support pillar 1. Radially extending support webs 7 are connected to the support pillar 1. which have the task of giving the supporting pillar 1 sufficient stability and at the same time guiding the reinforcing iron supported on the supporting pillar 1. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the spacer 4 has support webs 2 connected to the support pillar 1, while in FIG. 3 the spacer has only three support webs 2. Otherwise, however, it is designed exactly the same as the spacer according to FIG. 1. If this appears necessary, more than four support webs 2 can be used.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, xyeisen the support webs 2 on their upper edge a concave shape. which is curved according to the embodiment of FIG. 1 and straight according to FIG. The concave shape of the upper edge of the support webs 2 ungsform curved according to FIG. 1 and straight according to FIG. 4 with a curved transition.
The lower edge of the support webs 2, which together with the anter end face of the support pillar 1 is supported on the Schalungsflä toes, has a support surface 3 at the free end, the support surface 3 and the support surface 4 of the support pillar 1 through a material recess 5 in the Support webs 2 is separated. The support surfaces 3 together with the support surface 4 give the spacer good stability.
In the embodiment of the spacer according to Fig. 4, the basic structure of the spacer is the same as in Fig. 1. The support pillar 1 has radially protruding support webs 2, the support surfaces 3 of the support webs 2 and the support surface 4 ensure the necessary stability of the spacer and the support surfaces 3, 4 are separated by recesses 5 material.
The upper edge of the support webs 2 is also concave and has. similar to FIG. 1, has a curved shape.
In the supporting surface 4 of the supporting pillar 1, as can be seen from FIG. 1. a holding slot 9 is arranged. An identical holding slot 9 is arranged transversely thereto, in which a metallic wire bracket 10 is mounted and whose arms 11, 12 run along the support pillar 1 and protrude upwards. The arms 11, 12 have a wire loop 13 at their end, which makes it easier to connect and twist the arms 11, 12 together. In the holding slots 9 holding cams 14 are expediently arranged. which prevent the wire bracket 10 from falling out.
The retaining bracket can thus be used with or without a wire bracket 10. If, however, it is used, it is also stored in the supporting pillar 1 and held by the retaining cams 14 at the same time. It can, as shown in FIG. two holding slots 9 are arranged, while, for example, only one holding slot is indicated in FIGS. Selbstver hourly several retaining cams 9 can be provided as needed.
Essential for the spacer described is the centrally arranged support pillar 1 which takes the main load and which transfers the load to the formwork surface without changing direction. This gives an embodiment that is particularly advantageous in terms of material. Various materials, e.g. ND polyethylene can be used.
