The invention relates to a method for the dosed delivery of flowable or pourable material by means of a dosing system having a silo and a delivery device connected to the latter.
There are already methods known for the dosed delivery of flowable or pourable material which work according to the so-called differentiation method, that is, in which the measured value indicating the silo content is differentiated. The actual dosing output value obtained in this way is then used, for example, via a controller to regulate a dispensing device.
However, this method leads to very unsatisfactory dosing accuracy if the electronics expenditure is still acceptable.
The object of the present invention is to create a method which does not have the above-mentioned disadvantages of the previously known methods, that is to say is very precise and nevertheless only requires relatively simple electronics.
The method according to the invention is characterized in that an electronic measuring device is used to determine the actual weight of the goods to be dispensed in the silo or in the dispensing device connected to the latter, when the dosing system is started up and each time the silo is refilled The instantaneous value of the actual weight signal is supplied to a computing unit and stored therein, while the goods are being dispensed with the help of an input unit connected to the computing unit and indicating the setpoint of the dosing rate, the respective target weight of the in the silo or, when determining the actual weight, of the in the silo and in the with this connected delivery device continuously calculates the respective target weight of the goods in the silo and in the delivery device connected to the latter,
then forms the difference between the calculated current target weight and the measured current actual weight and uses this value to regulate the output of the output device.
In order to maintain the dosing rate as precisely as possible while the silo is being refilled, it is useful if the difference determined between the target and actual weight is fed into a memory of a control device that regulates the dispensing device, and when the silo is refilled, the one stored immediately before refilling the latter Value used to dispense the goods with the output power adjusted immediately before refilling.
In order to obtain the desired dosing rate as precisely as possible immediately after the dosing system has been put into operation, it is advantageous if the output of the dispensing device is volumetrically pre-controlled with the aid of the input unit indicating the setpoint of the dosing rate.
The invention is explained below, for example, using the scheme shown in the drawing.
As can be seen from the diagram, in the dosing system shown, the storage silo 1 forms a unit together with the delivery device 2, which is connected to it and has a discharge screw, which is pivotably mounted by means of a cutter 3 and supported by means of a load cell 4. The unit consisting of the storage silo 1 and the delivery device 2 is connected to a counterweight 5, which is dimensioned such that only the weight portion originating from the goods in the silo 1 and in the delivery device 2 acts on the load cell 4.
The discharge screw of the delivery device 2 is connected to an electric motor 6 to drive it and to a tachometer 7 to determine its speed.
The desired target value for the discharge rate, for example in tons per hour, is set with the aid of an input unit 8, the latter on the one hand with a computing unit
9 and on the other hand to a speed controller 10 is electrically connected.
When the dosing system is switched on, the nominal value of the discharge rate entered in the input unit 8 means that, thanks to the direct connection 11 of the input unit 8 with the speed controller 10, a volumetrically determined speed of the discharge screw corresponding to the input value is given to the discharge screw 2 and this is pre-controlled.
Since, due to differences in density in the bulk material in the storage silo 1 and other factors, a volumetrically determined speed cannot result in a precisely dosed output power in terms of weight, this speed set in this way only gives an output value from which it is gravimetrically fine-tuned.
The instantaneous value of the actual weight signal amplified by means of an amplifier 12, which is determined immediately after the dosing system is switched on, is fed to the arithmetic unit 9 via the connection 13 and is stored therein. During the discharge process, starting from this actual weight output value, the respective nominal weight of the goods in the storage silo 1 and in the discharge device 2 connected to the latter is continuously calculated with the help of the input unit 8 connected to the arithmetic unit 9 and indicating the nominal value of the dosing rate.
Between the current target weight value calculated in the arithmetic unit 9 and the current actual weight value measured via the connection 14 with the aid of the load cell 4, the difference is formed in the target / actual value comparator 15 and this value is used to fine-tune the speed of the drive motor 6.
If the weight of the one in the storage silo 1
If the good falls below a certain minimum value, the refilling process is initiated with the aid of the logic 16 via the line 18 and at the same time the instantaneous difference value determined in the set-actual value comparator 15 is stored in a memory 17 and fed to the speed controller 10 during the refilling process, so that the The discharge screw of the discharge device 2 continues to rotate during the refilling process, regardless of the changing product weight, at the speed determined immediately before the refilling process is initiated.
When the refilling process is finished, the using the
Load cell 4 certain new instantaneous value of the actual weight signal is stored again in the arithmetic unit 9 and again during the discharge of this actual weight output value, based on the input unit 8 connected to the arithmetic unit 9 and indicating the nominal value of the dosing rate, during the discharge process the respective nominal weight of the silo 1 and located in the discharge device 2
Good calculated and the difference formed in the setpoint / actual value comparator 15 is fed back directly to the speed controller 10.
Depending on the type of material to be dosed, the dispensing device 2 can also be provided, for example, with a conveyor trough, a conveyor belt or, in the case of liquid material, with a regulating valve.
Of course, it is also possible to mount the storage silo 1 so that it can be pivoted by means of a cutter 3, and to support it via three measuring cells.
If the connection between the silo and the dispensing device, for example in the case of liquid material by means of a flexible hose, can be made so flexible that the weight of the silo contents can be precisely determined independently of the dispensing device, then it is sufficient to use the electronic measuring device only the actual weight of the goods to be discharged in the silo is determined, when the dosing system is started up and each time the silo is refilled, the instantaneous value of the actual weight signal is supplied to the computing unit as in the exemplary embodiment described above with reference to the drawing and stored in it, while the goods are being dispensed With the help of the input unit which is connected to the computing unit and which indicates the setpoint of the dosing rate, only the respective setpoint weight of the goods in the silo is continuously calculated,
and then again, as in the embodiment described above, forms the difference between the calculated current target weight and the measured current actual weight and uses this value to regulate the output of the output device.
