Fig. 1 eine komplette neuerungsgemässe Biegelehre,
The invention relates to a continuously adjustable bending jig for strip and wire material.
Tape or wire material is used in particular when objects, for example pipes or the like, are suspended from ceilings or walls. As a rule, this tape or wire material is only trimmed on site when the objects are assembled. In particular, it is pre-bent for the objects to be fastened immediately before assembly, since pipes, for example, usually have to be looped around.
These activities to be carried out on site must be carried out with considerable care, since the quality of the fastening is particularly affected by this activity. Certain optical requirements also play a role here.
It is therefore understandable that this pre-bending of the strip or wire material, which must be carried out with great care, takes a considerable amount of time. With a large number of suspensions, this can be a real disadvantage.
The invention is based on the object of creating an aid with which it is possible to pre-bend strip and wire material with the minimum expenditure of time and with the accuracy required.
According to the invention, the object is achieved by at least three longitudinally displaceable longitudinal profiles that can be locked in any desired position, at least two of which have a bending stop. Such a teaching enables the distances to be measured only once in the case of mass fastenings and the bending gauge, which is set to the required dimensions, can be used as often as desired.
The locking of the individual longitudinal profiles of the bending jig with respect to one another can take place in any desired manner, for example by means of ordinary machine screws or also by means of wing screws that can be adjusted without special tool expenditure. The setting of the bending gauge can be simplified if a measuring scale is applied to the longitudinal profiles. If a gauge is often used for pipes, for example, there is also the option of entering the lengths that are required for wrapping around the most common pipe dimensions directly on the longitudinal profiles.
In order not to have to provide the longitudinal profiles with special guide means, they can expediently be telescopically displaceable into one another. This arrangement also creates extremely simple possibilities for locking the individual parts of the teaching.
In order to keep the number of movable individual parts as low as possible, the bending stops can preferably be firmly connected to the longitudinal profiles. The longitudinal displaceability of the bending stops with respect to one another can take place sufficiently in this embodiment via the longitudinal profiles themselves.
In the case of a bending gauge designed in particular for strip material, the bending stops can advantageously be designed as U-profiles. The recesses of the bending stops can be matched to the most common tape dimensions.
In order to transfer the bending points fixed relative to one another quickly and with sufficient accuracy to the strip or wire material to be bent, one of the longitudinal profiles can expediently carry a spacer stop. This distance stop enables the material to be bent to be pushed in a simple manner with one end in the teaching against this stop in order to then bend it.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the longitudinal profiles are designed as square tubes.
These do not require any separate guide or twist locks.
funds. In addition, dimensions or labels can be attached particularly easily to square tubes, for example by means of a printed adhesive film or by embossing a dimension scale. A flange can also be easily attached to a square tube so that the gauge can be clamped in a vice or similar holding device and the person familiar with the assembly has both hands free to bend, which saves a considerable amount of time.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings showing them for example, namely show:
1 shows a complete bending gauge according to the innovation,
2 shows an example of a suspension using strip material,
3 shows the bending gauge according to the invention of FIG. 1 with the strip material pre-bent for the application shown in FIG.
A bending jig can be seen in FIG. 1, which consists in particular of three longitudinal profiles 1, 2, 3 which can be telescoped into one another. The longitudinal profiles 1, 2, 3 can be mutually locked by means of wing screws 4, 5 known per se, which in the case shown are held in the profiles 2, 3 designed as square tubes by means of the thread. The profiles 2, 3 also each have a bending stop 6, 7, which has a U-shaped shape, so that the teaching is particularly suitable for receiving strip material. As a longitudinal limit for the objects to be bent, the profile 1 has a distance stop 8 which, as shown by way of example, is designed in the form of the bent end.
The application example according to FIG. 2 shows a pipe 11 which is suspended from a ceiling 13 by means of a band designated overall by 12. While one end 12a of the band 12 bent at right angles is fastened to the ceiling 13 by means of a bolt 14, a part of the band wraps around it

12b of the band 12 is fastened to the support part 12c of the band 12 by means of a clamp 15 known per se. In such an application, as can be seen from FIG. 2, the bending gauge according to the invention can be of considerable help. Since tubes, such as the tube 11 shown in FIG. 2, can have very considerable lengths, a larger number of suspensions are often required.
For each individual suspension, however, it is essential that the ceiling distance D is precisely adhered to, which means that the hinges required for the suspension are always on the same
Places need to be bent.
This ceiling distance D according to the requirements can be transferred to the bending gauge, in particular special according to FIG. 3, by means of a single operation. In addition, that will

Scope of the tube 11 to be suspended corresponds. With a bending gauge set in this way, the band 12 only needs to be inserted into the bending stops 6, 7 and pushed against the distance stop 8. To complete the assembly-ready band 12, the ends 12b, 12c only need to be bent almost at right angles.
