Abstract
Feeding of a pressure medium from a fixed body into a rotating shaft where the fixed body (1) has a steel pipe (4) directed on the shaft (3) to generate a pressure pulse transmitting stream and the shaft (3) has an arrangement (5, 5', 6, 7) with a deformable valve ring (7) for a channel (8, 5, 5', 2) in the shaft so that, through the impact of the jet emerging from the jet pipe (4) on the valve ring (7), this latter is deformed so that part of the jet can penetrate the channel (8, 5, 5', 2) so that there is a build up of pressure. Specifically the shaft has a rotating capture ring (6), whose outside has an annular capture hopper (5, 5') which opens into an annular collection chamber (8). The deformable valve ring is fitted in this chamber (8) and lies on the base of the capture hopper.
Description
The present invention relates to a device for feeding a printing medium from a fixed body into a rotatable shaft. Such devices are provided for the hydraulic or pneumatic connection of two parts moving relative to one another.
Devices for supplying pressure medium with sliding rings, hydrostatic bearings or sliding shoes are known for a rotating movement of parts with small diameters. All these devices are based on the delimitation of a passage space with the aid of a narrow throttle or sealing gap, the walls of which have a high relative speed to one another. High heat generation through friction and wear and tear in the case of an unclean pressure medium, e. B. oil are disadvantageous phenomena with these types of feed.
The aim of the present invention is to avoid the heating and wear phenomena of the known devices by eliminating the sealing or throttle gaps.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the stationary body has a jet pipe directed at the shaft for generating a pressure pulse transmitting jet and the shaft has an arrangement with a deformable valve ring for a channel provided in the shaft, such that the impact of the jet emerging from the jet pipe Beam on the valve ring this is deformed and thereby causes the penetration of part of the beam into the channel and the build-up of pressure in the channel.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
Figure 1 shows the device for feeding a pressure medium into a rotatable shaft in a section through the shaft axis,
FIG. 2 shows the device of FIG. 1 in a section transverse to the shaft.
A pressure signal is to be fed from a stationary pipe 1 into an axial bore 2 of a rotating shaft 3. To convert the pressure signal in the pipe 1 into a liquid pulse in the form of a jet, a jet pipe 4, which is also fixed, is arranged in an extension of the pipe 1. Guided through the walls 5, 5 of an annular collecting funnel in a two-part collecting ring 6 rotating with the shaft 3, the jet strikes a deformable valve ring 7, which closes the collecting funnel bottom. The impact pressure deforms the valve ring 7 at the point of impact in such a way that part of the jet penetrates through a bulge 10 into an annular collecting chamber 8 and builds up the desired pressure there.
The collecting chamber 8 is connected to the bore 2 of the shaft 3 via radial lines 9, 9, so that the bore 2 is also pressurized. The pressure in the collecting chamber 8 presses the valve ring 7 strongly against the bottom of the collecting funnel 5, 5 'of the collecting ring 6, so that the pressure medium supply is absolutely sealed outside at the point of impact of the jet. The two parts of the collecting ring 6 are held together by screws 11 and sealed with respect to the shaft 3 by O-rings 12, 12 '.
Since there is no direct contact between the fixed and rotating parts, the shaft can be rotated at the highest possible speed.
