Fig.3 eine Draufsicht des Teils nach Fig. 1
The invention relates to a cassette tape recorder for recording and playback by means of a magnetizable recording medium, with a base plate.
The tape recorders most widely used today are equipped with cassettes for ease of use. When inserting the cassette into the tape recorder, it is important that its interaction with the cassette functions properly regardless of deviations in the dimensions. Existing statements leave something to be desired in this regard.
The purpose of the invention is therefore to create a cassette tape recorder which does not have the disadvantages of existing designs.
The cassette tape recorder according to the invention of the type mentioned at the outset is characterized in that it is equipped with a bridge carrying the tape heads, which can be displaced in the horizontal plane practically perpendicular to its longitudinal direction and which partly carries plates that are perpendicular to one another to accommodate the lower front edge of the cassette to guide the cassette when the tape heads are brought into contact with the tape.
In the present device, the arrangement of the audio heads can essentially be on a displaceable, self-adjustable bridge, so that the correct position of the tape of the cassette relative to the audio heads and thus perfect contact between the audio heads and the tape is ensured at all times.
In one embodiment it is provided that the bridge is U-shaped, the legs having bores for receiving an axis of rotation which has a smaller diameter than the bore so that the bridge can assume different positions relative to the axis of rotation in the radial direction.
An exemplary embodiment of the cassette tape recorder according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. They represent:
Fig. 1 is a front view, partially in section, of part of a cassette tape recorder with a support bridge for the tape heads.
Fig. 2 is a side view of the part shown in Fig. 1, partially in section,
FIG. 3 is a plan view of the part according to FIG. 1
1 shows a wide, U-shaped, high, flat bridge 1, the web of which runs horizontally, while the legs 2 and 3, which are arranged parallel to one another, extend downward and are provided with bores 4. An axis of rotation 5, which has a smaller diameter than the bores 4, extends through the bores 4, so that the bridge 1 can assume different positions relative to the axis in the radial direction thereof.
Furthermore, outer support elements 6 and 7 are provided, which are firmly connected to the base plate 13 of the cassette tape recorder and each have elongated holes 8 in which the ends 9 and 10 of the axis of rotation 5 are arranged.
The axis of rotation 5 is therefore radially displaceable in a horizontal plane in the elongated holes 8, so that the U-shaped bridge 1 can assume many different positions.
The axis of rotation 4 is prestressed to the rear in the radial direction by means of leaf springs 11 and 12, one end of which is fastened to the base plate 13, while the other end rests against the ends of the axis of rotation 5.
The bridge is moved by means of one side surface of a cassette 14. For this purpose, two flat, vertically extending and parallel plates 15 and 16 and a plate 17 extending perpendicular to them are provided on the bridge 1. The two plates 15 and 16 thus form a right angle with the third to support the lower front edge of the cassette.
With this arrangement it is achieved that the movable bridge 1, and consequently the audio heads, rest on both sides of the same against the correct position of the cassette or the audio tape.
To facilitate the insertion of the cassette 14, the plates 15, 16 and 17 have projections 18 and 19 on the sides facing the cassette, which are produced, for example, by stamping.
