Fig. 1 eine als Band ausgebildete Klemmbride in Ansicht in Achsrichtung teilweise geschnitten in offenem Zustand,
Fig. 2 einen Ausschnitt einer Ansicht des Bandes nach Fig. 1 in Richtung des Pfeiles Z,
Fig. 5 einen teilweise geschnittenen Ausschnitt aus Fig. 4.
The invention relates to a device for clamping a hose on a nipple, with a clamp and a clamping device, wherein the clamp is designed as a one-part or multi-part lockable band, which has perforation holes at the outer end and at least one barb at the inner end, which when folded of the tape around the tube hooks into one of the perforation holes, and the tape at its inner end between the end edge and the barb has perforation holes of the same type as those at the outer end and at its outer end, on the side of the perforation holes there facing away from the end edge, a slot having, wherein after the band is folded around the tube at least one portion of the perforation holes of the outer end of the band adjacent to the end edge of the inner end comes to lie in the region of the slot,
and the tensioning device enables the barb to be hooked into the perforation hole of the outer end that corresponds to the assembled state of the clamp, which tensioning device can be placed on the band for assembly and disassembly of the clamp and removed again after assembly or disassembly.
A device for clamping a hose on a nipple is known which has a tensioning device in the manner of a bayonet lock, which is expensive to manufacture and is particularly impractical if the clamp only rarely has to be assembled and disassembled. A device for clamping a hose on a nipple is also known, in which the clamping clamp is tightened by a pliers-like tool, the engagement side of which spreads when the actuation side is pressed together. The tool is placed on the one hand in a perforation hole and on the other hand at the end of the slot. However, this type of tensioning has the disadvantage that the tape thickness is generally always only one millimeter, so that the contact surface for the tool is small.
In addition to compressing the actuating part of the tool, the same must be pressed onto the band with a certain force in the radial direction, with the risk of getting stuck in the elastic hose material or its damage. Furthermore, such an operation requires the full attention of the workforce, and attention to the hooking of the barb in the correct perforation hole inevitably suffers. In such a clamping device, the actuating part must also have a certain length, so that this tool cannot be used in all cases.
In the aforementioned devices for clamping a hose onto a nipple, the clamp has at least one element that is elastically flexible in the circumferential direction of the band, so that no excessive forces have to be overcome during assembly. However, for reasons of cheaper manufacture, for example, it may be desirable to give the band a consistently flat course, the pretension existing in the assembled state of the clamp is only generated by elastic deformation of the hose. During assembly, i.e. when clamping from perforation hole to perforation hole, very considerable forces which cannot be absorbed by the known, attachable and removable clamping device.
It should also be considered that assembly with the known clamping device itself could still take place, whereas dismantling after a certain period of time after the clamp has worked itself into the elastic hose material and now sticks to the hose due to dirt, heat, etc. is easily possible, so that the band or the ear-shaped spring or tensioning elements have to be cut open so that the clamp can no longer be used afterwards.
The aim of the invention is to overcome these disadvantages and to create a clamp that can also be tensioned to a high degree and can be used again and again, the tensioning device being able to be reliably applied even under the most unfavorable spatial conditions, in such a way that it can also be attached and operated can be done from a certain distance from the clamp. For this purpose, the invention is characterized in that on the side of the slot facing away from the end edge of the outer end of the band there is also at least one outwardly facing barb, and that the tensioning device has two hooking elements which can be moved against one another for the purpose of tensioning the band one engages in at least one of the perforation holes of the inner end of the tape and in the other of which the barb of the outer end of the tape hooks.
Thanks to these measures, the tensioning device can be reliably applied to the belt. It remains securely there during tensioning. Furthermore, a large, finely adjustable clamping force can be generated.
According to a particular embodiment, the band can be designed without bulges in order to generate a pre-tension that is present in the assembled state of the clamping bracket practically only by elastic deformation of the hose
A particular embodiment in which the hooking elements of the tensioning device have a lever connected to a gearwheel, which is rotatably connected to a curved short band, the band being adapted to the curvature of the clamp and having a hooking element, is characterized in:
that the two essentially straight flanks of the individual teeth of the gearwheel are approximately parallel to one another and the tooth pitch corresponds to that of the perforation holes and that the belt of the tensioning device has a longitudinal slot for receiving the tongue of the inner end of the clamp belt and at its free end at least one perforation hole, in the effective position of the tensioning device, the perforation hole of the belt of the tensioning device hooks into the barb arranged on the side of the slot facing away from the end edge of the outer end of the belt and, depending on the rotational position of the gear, one or two teeth of the same in one or two Engage perforation holes of the inner end of the tape.
These measures result in a secure fit of the tensioning device on the belt, turning the lever in the direction towards the outer end of the belt against a certain resistance due to the course of the short belt of the tensioning device this in the circumferential direction by itself the necessary pull of the gear in the radial direction causes.
Another embodiment, in which the two hooking elements of the clamping device are connected to one another via a threaded spindle, is characterized in that one hooking element is guided in a non-rotatable manner in a sleeve with a longitudinal slot and can be moved axially back and forth by means of the threaded spindle, and the other on the sleeve Hooking element is provided in the form of a profile piece, which piece has at least one hole and the first-mentioned hooking element has a hook, wherein in the operative position of the tensioning device the hook hooks into a perforation hole of the inner end of the band and that of the end edge of the outer end of the band opposite side of the slot arranged barbs hooks into the hole of the profile piece.
These measures enable the band to be tensioned for the purpose of assembly and dismantling from a certain distance from the clamp, with almost no space required in the immediate vicinity of the band. For example, when assembling sleeves for cardan shafts of drive axles of motor vehicles, it is possible for the workforce to move freely in the assembly pit under the assembly platform or the assembly lift and, with the described clamping device, which can be of any length, tangentially to the assembly or assembly Approach tape to be dismantled, with a relatively small space radially laterally sufficient for the application and removal of the tensioning device.
Another advantage is that the clamping device, once hooked in and slightly tightened, remains attached to the clamp so that the hands of the working person can be used for any other operation, for example for moving the outer end of the strap onto the barbs of the inner one End of the tape, remain free, after which the spindle can easily be turned with just one hand in the sense of relaxing the tape, while the other hand pushes the outer end of the tape further in the radial direction until the barb firmly into a perforation hole is hooked.
According to a special embodiment, the web adjacent to the end edge of the inner end of the band of the perforation hole adjacent to this end edge can be upset to the outside in order to hold the hook securely on the web when the tensioning device is tensioned without endangering the hose.
With this measure, a reliable gripping of the hook of the tensioning device is ensured and at the same time the risk of the hook damaging the surface of the hose is avoided.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in simplified form.
Show it:
Fig. 1 is a clamp formed as a band in a view in the axial direction partially cut in the open state,
FIG. 2 shows a detail of a view of the band according to FIG. 1 in the direction of the arrow Z,
FIG. 3 shows a section of a mounted clamp consisting of a band according to FIG. 1 with an attached tensioning device,
4 shows an assembled clamp with another tensioning device and consisting of another band, and
FIG. 5 shows a partially sectioned detail from FIG. 4.
In all the figures, corresponding parts have the same reference symbols. In all figures, the thickness of the tape is shown greater than in most real cases for the sake of clarity.
In Fig. 1 one recognizes a clamp 1 designed as a band with an outer end 2 and perforation holes 3 made therein and with an inner end 4 with two barbs 5. When the band 1 is folded around the tube 6 in FIG. 3, the barbs 5 hook into two perforation holes 3 of the outer end 2 of the tape, as can be seen from FIG. The hose 6 surrounds a nipple 7.
The band 1 has at its inner end 4 between the end edge and the barbs 5 perforation holes 8 of the same type as the perforation holes 3 of the outer end 2 and at its outer end 2, on the side of the perforation holes 3 there facing away from the end edge, a slot 9, after the band 1 has been folded around the tube 6, at least a portion of the perforation holes 8 of the outer end 2 of the band 1 adjacent to the end edge of the inner end 4 comes to lie in the region of the slot 9.
Furthermore, a tensioning device 10 is provided, which enables the barbs 5 to be hooked into the perforation holes 3 of the outer end 2 which correspond to the mounted state of the clamp. This tensioning device 10 can be placed on the band 1 for the assembly and disassembly of the clamp and can be removed again after assembly or disassembly.
On the side of the slot 9 facing away from the end edge of the outer end 2 of the same, the band 1 has two outwardly pointing barbs 11 and the tensioning device 10 has two hooking elements 14 and 15 which can be moved against one another for the purpose of tensioning, one of which 14 in at least one of the perforation holes 8 of the inner end 4 of the tape engages and in the other 15 hook the barbs 11 of the outer end 2 of the tape.
The inner end 4 of the band is designed as an outwardly curved tongue 12 which is guided in the slot 9.
The clamping device 10 is provided with a lever 13, with which a gear 14 with straight tooth flanks and the perforation holes 3, 8 corresponding division and with the axis of the lever 13 is fixedly connected.
A short curved band 15, the radius of curvature of which corresponds approximately to the radius of the hose 6, is pivotably articulated on the lever 13 about the axis of the gear wheel 14 and has two perforation holes 17 at its free end 16, the barbs in the operative position of the clamping device 10 11 of the outer end 2 of the tape hook into the perforation holes 17 of the short tape 15 of the tensioning device 10 and, depending on the rotational position of the gear 14, one or two teeth of the same engage in one or two perforation holes 8 of the inner end 4 of the tape.
When the lever 13 is pivoted in the direction of the arrow X, the outer end 2 of the band moves in the direction of the arrow Y, and the barbs 5 of the inner end 4 of the band can be inserted into the perforation holes 3 corresponding to the desired state of tension of the band 1 of the outer end 2 of the tape are hooked. After this has happened, the lever 13 is pivoted in the opposite direction, the barbs 5 are reliably firmly hooked and the clamping device 10 can be removed. When dismantling, proceed in reverse order.
The band 1 shown has no bulges.
The pretension that exists in the assembled state of the clamp is therefore only generated by the elastic deformation of the hose.
The band 15 of the tensioning device 10 has a slot, not visible in FIG. 3, located between its perforation holes 17 and the gear wheel 14 for receiving the tongue 12 of the inner end 4 of the band.
The mutual spacing of the barbs 11 preferably corresponds to the spacing between adjacent perforation holes 3 and 8 and the barbs 5. In this way, the same tools can be used, which is a cost-saving factor.
The two-part band 101 shown in FIG. 4 corresponds to the band 1 in FIG. 1 at its outer and inner end. The clamping device 110 has a sleeve 18 with a longitudinal slot 19 and a sleeve 18 with a handle 20 rotatable therein 21 axially fixed screw spindle 22, onto which a counterpart 23 guided in an axially movable and rotationally fixed manner in the longitudinal slot 19 is wound. The sleeve 18 carries a nose 24. A U-profile piece 25 is pivotable about a pin 26 which is passed through holes in the legs of the Profilstük kes 25. A second hole 27 in the profile piece 25 enables the clamping device 110 to be adapted to a band of different dimensions. The center piece of the profile piece 25 has two holes 28.
The counterpart 23 has a hook 29 which, in the operative position of the tensioning device 110, hooks into the relevant perforation hole 8 of the inner end 4 of the band 101, and the barbs 11 hook into the relevant holes 28 of the profile piece 25.
The tensioning device 110, once applied to the band 101 and slightly tightened, sits extremely firmly on the mounted band 101 or even just placed around the hose 6 and can then be adjusted extremely finely with just one hand by turning the handle 20 slightly. It can practically be of any length, engages tangentially on the belt 101 and requires space only in a direction tangential to the belt 101, as can be readily seen from FIG. 4.
The web 30 of the perforation hole 8 adjacent to the tongue 12, which is adjacent to the outwardly bent tongue 12 of the inner end 4 of the band, is upset towards the outside. namely in the direction away from the tongue 12 on. This ensures that the hook 29 is reliably seated on the web 30 without the tip of the hook 29 endangering the material of the hose 6.
The band 101 has a total of three bulges 31, 32, 33 arranged on the circumference. which are shown in exaggerated size for the sake of clarity. The loop-shaped bulge 31 is elastically deformable. The bow-shaped bulge 32 can be tensioned and is shown in a non-tensioned state. It has a notch 35 in the region of its apex. which has the shape of an elliptical section in the circumferential direction of the band 101. The tensionable bow-shaped bulge 33 is shown in the tensioned state.
The two parts of the band 101 come together in the region of an eyelet-shaped spring element 38. Each of the tape ends 36 has a perforation opening 37. These perforation openings are made to overlap in such a way that they lie one above the other. The spring element 38 connecting the band ends with a semicircular middle part 39 and two straight end parts 40 is inserted through the perforation openings 37 in such a way that the end parts 36 of the band 10 1 extend in the opposite direction on the outer surface of the tube 6 and the band ends 36 extend when tensioned the clamp, ie of the belt 101 to move towards each other. The middle part 39 of the spring element 38 receives an approximately cylindrical piece 41 made of a rubber-elastic material.
The middle part 39 can, whether it receives the piece 41 or not. have a notch (not shown) in the region of its apex.
The distribution of the bulges 31, 32 and 33 and of the spring element 38 on the circumference of the band 101 is based on the requirements of practice, and in FIG. 4 the arrangement has been made exclusively for reasons of clarity. The tensionable bulge ¯2 e.g. could. with tangential attachment of the clamping device 110. are clamped by a radially acting compressed air pliers. When a bulge is arranged at the outer end 2 of the tape between the perforation holes 3 and the barbs 11. so it is not during clamping, but only after removing the clamping device
