Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch die Steckbuchse der Steckkontaktverbindungsvorrichtung mit dem elastischen Spannring;
Fig. 2 eine Ansicht des in die Steckbuchse gemäss Fig. 1 einführbaren Steckers;
Fig. 3 einen Längsschnitt durch eine andere Ausführungsform des elastischen Spannrings;
Fig. 4 eine Stirnansicht des Spannrings gemäss Fig. 3;
Fig. 5 eine Ansicht des in den Spannring gemäss Fig. 3 und 4 einführbaren Steckers;
Fig. 7 eine Stirnansicht zu Fig. 6.

The invention relates to an electrical plug contact connecting device consisting of a plug pin with a socket.
Such connectors are already known. However, the connections that can be achieved are often so loose that they do not meet all requirements and can sometimes lead to loose contacts.
It is the object of the present invention to eliminate this disadvantage and to create a plug contact connection device in which the plug can only be guided by exerting a particularly strong pressure in the socket, so that the plug sits firmly in the socket under all circumstances and Loose contacts are excluded.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a clamping ring made of elastic material is provided in the socket, the inner diameter of which is only so little different from the diameter of the plug pin that it is held securely and firmly by the clamping ring.
The inner side of the clamping ring can be provided with an annular groove which is partially circular in cross-section and into which an annular collar attached to the plug pin engages in the closed position of the contact plug connection.
Some preferred exemplary embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
1 shows a longitudinal section through the socket of the plug contact connecting device with the elastic clamping ring;
FIG. 2 shows a view of the plug which can be inserted into the socket according to FIG. 1;
3 shows a longitudinal section through another embodiment of the elastic clamping ring;
FIG. 4 shows an end view of the clamping ring according to FIG. 3;
5 shows a view of the plug insertable into the clamping ring according to FIGS. 3 and 4;
6 shows a longitudinal section through a further embodiment of the elastic clamping ring, and
FIG. 7 shows an end view of FIG. 6.
The socket shown in Fig. 1 consists of a cylindrical housing 1 to which a line cable 12 is attached to one end. Provided in the housing is a cylindrical recess 11 which extends in the longitudinal direction through the housing and is open at the end opposite the line cable 12. At the end of the recess 11 adjacent to the cable 12, this continues in an extension 13 of smaller diameter. At the open end of the recess 11, the latter has a section 14 with a larger diameter than that of the recess 11. A further section 15 of larger diameter than that of section 14 adjoins section 14 in the direction of the open end of recess 11.
The recess 11 serves to receive an electrical contact, for example in the form of a sleeve 2, from which elastic spring tongues 3 are bent inwardly, which when the plug pin 4a of the in Fig.
Apply the plug 4 shown in FIG. 2 to the plug pin 4a while exerting elastic pressure and establish the electrical contact, the plug pin 4a then lying with its tip in the extension 13 of the recess 11.
In the section 14 of the recess 11 of the housing 1, a clamping ring 5 made of elastic material, for example nylon or neoprene, is attached, the inner diameter of which is somewhat smaller than the outer diameter of the plug pin 4a. The clamping ring 5 is held together with the sleeve 2 for establishing the electrical contact by a locking ring 6 which can be inserted, for example screwed, into the section 15 of the recess 11.
As a result of the difference between the inside diameter of the elastic clamping ring 5 and the outside diameter of the plug pin 4a and the elasticity of the material of the clamping ring 5, considerable pressure must be exerted on the plug 4 when the plug pin 4a is inserted into the socket. As a result, a tight fit of the plug pin 4a in the housing 1 of the socket is achieved, so that the plug pin cannot unintentionally loosen and possibly fall out, as is the case with the known Kontaktsteckver connections. By appropriate selection of the material and, above all, the inner diameter of the clamping ring 5, the pressure required for the insertion of the plug pin 4a can be changed as desired.
The clamping ring 5 shown in Fig. 1 has an essentially cylindrical shape, but other shapes may be more appropriate for certain applications. 3 and 4 show a clamping ring 5a which is provided on its inside with an annular groove 8 which is partially circular in cross section and which is laterally bounded by annular projections 7. The annular groove 7 is intended to receive an annular collar 10 provided on the plug pin 4a according to FIG. With this design, the connector pin is held even more firmly in the connector socket.
6 and 7 show a clamping ring 5b which is provided with longitudinal grooves 9 on its inside. This allows the material of the clamping ring 5 to yield better when the connector pin 4a is inserted and as a result the difference between the inner diameter of the clamping ring 5 and the outer diameter of the connector pin 4a in this embodiment can be even greater than in the embodiments described above.
