Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Zähne eines Teiles, insbesondere eines Triebes oder eines Rades für Uhren und Apparate, und einen ein- oder mehrteiligen Profilfräser zur Ausführung des Verfahrens, mit einem Körper, der wenigstens drei Fräserzähne mit je einem Profil aufweist.
Triebe oder Räder für Uhren und Apparate können entweder in einem Teilverfahren oder in einem Abwälzverfahren hergestellt werden.
Beim Teilverfahren wird das zu herstellende Profil der Triebe oder Räder mittels Profil-, Stichel- oder Pignonfräser verfertigt, welche am Werkstück jeweils eine Zahnlücke nach der anderen fräsen.
Beim Abwälzverfahren werden die Profile mittels Abwälzfräser hergestellt, welche im Gegensatz zu den beim Teilverfahren verwendeten Profilfräsern dem Werkstückprofil nicht entsprechen.
Bisher wurden die Profile mit vorwiegend kleiner Zähnezahl, wie insbesondere Triebe, infolge ihrer zu grossen Zahnhöhe hauptsächlich im Teilverfahren unter Verwendung von Profilfräsern hergestellt. Durch den einseitigen Schnittdruck des Profilfräsers auf die Zahnflanken des Werkstückes werden jedoch die Teilungen ungenau ausgebildet.
Die im Wälzverfahren hergestellten Profile der Triebe weisen Hüllschnitte auf, wobei besonders der Zahngrund (die Zykloide bzw. Epizykloide) nicht sauber geführt ist und deswegen nicht genau dem gewünschten Profil entspricht. Bei diesem Verfahren verändern sich die Profile des Werkstückes auch bei der geringfügigen Durchmesserkorrektur.
Jede Zykloide und ähnliche Profile sind auf solche Fehler anfällig.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die oben erwähnten Nachteile durch ein Herstellungsverfahren und einen zur Ausführung des Verfahrens dienenden Fräser zu beseitigen, mit welchem Fräser eine hohe Profilgenauigkeit, insbesondere bei Profilen mit vorwiegend kleiner Anzahl von Zähnen einer grossen Höhe, erreicht werden kann.
Erfindungsgemäss wird dies durch ein Verfahren erreicht, das durch die Verwendung eines an der Welle einer Wälzfräsmaschine angeordneten Profilfräsers gekennzeichnet ist, der das Werkstück mit seinen Fräserzahnprofilen anschneidet und das Profil am Werkstück durch ein stufenweises Abnehmen des Werkstückmaterials im Abwälzfräsen verfertigt, wobei jedes, der Zahnlücke am Werkstück voll oder teilweise entsprechende, Fräserzahnprofil das Werkstück über mehrere Zahnlücken stets umschliesst.
Zur Ausführung des Verfahrens ist der erfindungsgemässe ein- oder mehrgängige Profilfräser dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Fräserzahnprofil so gestaltet ist, dass es mindestens teilweise der Zahnlücke am Werkstück entspricht, und dass jeder Fräserzahn der Teilung des Werkstückes entsprechend ein anderes Profil aufweist.
Die Verwendung dieses Profilfräsers im Abwälzfräsverfahren stellt eine Kombination des Teil- und Abwälzverfahrens dar.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand von Zeichnungen beispielsweise näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

In der Fig. 1 und 2 ist ein Profilfräser dargestellt, der einen Fräserkörper 1 mit zehn Fräserzähnen la aufweist. Die einzelnen Zähne la liegen am Körper 1 in gleichem Abstand voneinander, wobei jeder Zahn la an seinem Umfang mit einem anderen Profil 1b versehen ist. Die Zähne la sind auf dem gesamten Umfang des Fräsers verteilt. Mit 3 ist eine Bohrung im Körper 1 des Fräsers bezeichnet.
Wie aus den Fig. 3-12 ersichtlich ist, ist das Fräserzahnprofil 1b jedes Zahnes la so gestaltet, dass es bei der Bearbeitung eines Werkstückes 2 drei benachbarte Zahnlücken 2b umschliessen kann. Dabei entspricht seine Form mindestens teilweise der Form der Zahnlücke 2b am Werkstück 2.
Die Profilfräser können im Aussendurchmesser und in der Bohrung den Wünschen oder den Bedürfnissen der Kunden angepasst werden.
Die Voraussetzung dafür ist, dass die Fräsergrösse in einer bestimmten Relation zur Profilgrösse steht. Die Fräser können im Aussendurchmesser von 4-60 mm, mit entsprechenden Bohrungen von etwa 2-22 mm hergestellt werden.
Die Fräserbreite ist hauptsächlich von der Profilgrösse abhängig. Da dieser Profilfräser nur in einer einzigen Stellung zum Werkstück das Sollprofil erzeugen kann, ist eine seitliche Verschiebung des Fräsers nicht möglich. Hingegen können auf einem Fräserkörper mehrere Bearbeitungsstellen nebeneinander angebracht werden. Diese sind jedoch voneinander völlig unabhängig und müssen durch eine entsprechende Lücke getrennt werden.
Die Zähnezahl am Fräser ist keineswegs begrenzt. Es können sowohl 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 oder mehrere Zähne hergestellt werden. Die Mindestzahl beträgt jedoch 3, wobei die Gestaltung des Fräsers mit zehn Zähnen vorteilhaft ist.
Ferner kann der Profilfräser als ein- oder mehrgängiger Profilfräser hergestellt werden. So z. B. mit einem zweigängigen Fräser können in einem Fräserumgang zwei Zähne am Werkstück bearbeitet werden.
Der Profilfräser wird vorzugsweise aus einem Hartmetall hergestellt, jedoch zu seiner Herstellung können auch andere Materialien vorgesehen werden, wie Schnellarbeitsstähle usw.
Der oben beschriebene Profilfräser kann im Prinzip auf jeder Wälzfräsmaschine, die in der Uhrenindustrie oder in dem Apparatenbau verwendet wird, eingesetzt werden.
In der Abwälzfräsmaschine wird der Profilfräser an einer Welle angeordnet, deren Drehachse zu derjenigen des Werkstückes 2 mit Berücksichtigung eines Steigungswinkels senkrecht ist; die Drehzahl des Profilfräsers muss grösser sein als die Drehzahl des Werkstückes 2, wobei die beiden Drehzahlen zueinander synchronisiert sind.
Der Steigungswinkel des Profilfräsers wird entsprechend der Teilung des Werkstückes 2 bestimmt. Dies bedingt eine entsprechende Einstellung des Profilfräsers auf der Wälzfräsmaschine.
Die Fig. 3-12 veranschaulichen im grösseren Massstab die zehn Positionen des Arbeitsvorganges beim Abwälzverfahren mit dem Profilfräser mit zehn Zähnen. Jede Position stellt den Arbeitsvorgang jedes einzelnen Fräserzahnes la mit seinem Profil lb dar. Das Fräserprofil 1b in der Position 1 befindet sich in der Achse x des Werkstückes 2. In den Positionen 2 bis 10 befindet sich das Profil 1b in einer Winkellage zu der Achse x. Die Position 10 stellt dann ein Spiegelbild zu der Position 2 dar.
Der Vorteil des oben beschriebenen Abwälzfräsverfahrens bei der Verwendung des oben beschriebenen Profilfräsers liegt vorwiegend darin, dass Profile mit kleiner Zähnezahl, wie Triebe, die infolge zu grosser Zahnhöhe bisher nicht im Abwälzfräsverfahren hergestellt werden konnten, nun auf diese Art verzahnt werden können. Dabei wird eine höhere Teilgenauigkeit gegenüber dem bisherigen Teilverfahren und eine höhere Profilgenauigkeit des Erzeugnisses infolge des Wegfalles der Hüllschnitte im bisherigen Wälzverfahren erzielt.
Der Vorteil des Profilfräsers liegt in einer geringeren Einrichtzeit auf der Wälzfräsmaschine, wobei der neue Profilfrä ser keine Änderungen an den bestehenden Wälzfräsmaschinen bedingt.
The invention relates to a method for producing the teeth of a part, in particular a drive or a wheel for clocks and apparatus, and a one-part or multi-part profile cutter for carrying out the method, with a body which has at least three cutter teeth each with a profile.
Drives or wheels for clocks and devices can either be manufactured in a partial process or in a generating process.
In the partial process, the profile of the drives or wheels to be produced is produced using profile, burin or pignon milling cutters, which mill one tooth gap after the other on the workpiece.
In the hobbing process, the profiles are produced using hob cutters, which, in contrast to the profile milling cutters used in the partial process, do not correspond to the workpiece profile.
So far, the profiles with a predominantly small number of teeth, such as drives in particular, were mainly produced in the partial process using profile milling cutters due to their too large tooth height. Due to the one-sided cutting pressure of the profile cutter on the tooth flanks of the workpiece, however, the divisions are formed imprecisely.
The profiles of the shoots produced using the rolling process have envelope cuts, with the tooth base (the cycloid or epicycloid) in particular not being properly guided and therefore not exactly corresponding to the desired profile. With this method, the profiles of the workpiece change even with a slight diameter correction.
Every cycloid and similar profiles are prone to such errors.
The invention is based on the object of eliminating the above-mentioned disadvantages by means of a manufacturing method and a milling cutter used for carrying out the method, with which milling cutter a high profile accuracy, in particular for profiles with a predominantly small number of teeth of a great height, can be achieved.
According to the invention, this is achieved by a method which is characterized by the use of a profile milling cutter arranged on the shaft of a hobbing machine, which cuts the workpiece with its cutter tooth profiles and produces the profile on the workpiece by stepwise removal of the workpiece material in hobbing, each of which is the tooth gap on the workpiece fully or partially corresponding, milling tooth profile always encloses the workpiece over several tooth gaps.
To carry out the method, the single or multi-start profile cutter according to the invention is characterized in that each cutter tooth profile is designed in such a way that it at least partially corresponds to the tooth gap on the workpiece, and that each cutter tooth has a different profile according to the division of the workpiece.
The use of this profile cutter in the hobbing process is a combination of the dividing and hobbing process.

In Figs. 1 and 2, a profile cutter is shown which has a cutter body 1 with ten cutter teeth la. The individual teeth la are equidistant from one another on the body 1, each tooth la being provided with a different profile 1b on its circumference. The teeth la are distributed over the entire circumference of the milling cutter. 3 with a hole in the body 1 of the milling cutter is designated.
As can be seen from FIGS. 3-12, the milling tooth profile 1b of each tooth 1a is designed so that it can enclose three adjacent tooth gaps 2b when machining a workpiece 2. Its shape corresponds at least partially to the shape of the tooth gap 2b on the workpiece 2.
The profile milling cutters can be adapted to the wishes or needs of the customer in terms of the outside diameter and the bore.
The prerequisite for this is that the cutter size is in a certain relation to the profile size. The milling cutters can be produced with an outside diameter of 4-60 mm, with corresponding bores of around 2-22 mm.
The milling width depends mainly on the profile size. Since this profile cutter can only generate the target profile in a single position relative to the workpiece, it is not possible to move the cutter sideways. On the other hand, several machining points can be attached next to one another on a milling cutter body. However, these are completely independent of each other and must be separated by a corresponding gap.
The number of teeth on the cutter is by no means limited. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 or more teeth can be produced. However, the minimum number is 3, the design of the milling cutter with ten teeth being advantageous.
Furthermore, the profile cutter can be manufactured as a single or multi-start profile cutter. So z. B. with a two-start cutter, two teeth can be machined on the workpiece in one cutter.
The profile milling cutter is preferably made of a hard metal, but other materials can also be used for its production, such as high-speed steels etc.
The profile milling cutter described above can in principle be used on any hobbing machine that is used in the watch industry or in apparatus construction.
In the hobbing machine, the profile cutter is arranged on a shaft whose axis of rotation is perpendicular to that of the workpiece 2, taking into account a helix angle; the speed of the profile cutter must be greater than the speed of workpiece 2, the two speeds being synchronized with one another.
The helix angle of the profile cutter is determined according to the division of the workpiece 2. This requires a corresponding setting of the profile cutter on the hobbing machine.
FIGS. 3-12 illustrate, on a larger scale, the ten positions of the working process in the hobbing process with the profile milling cutter with ten teeth. Each position represents the working process of each individual cutter tooth la with its profile lb. The cutter profile 1b in position 1 is in the axis x of the workpiece 2. In positions 2 to 10, the profile 1b is at an angle to the axis x . Position 10 then represents a mirror image of position 2.
The advantage of the hobbing process described above when using the profile cutter described above is primarily that profiles with a small number of teeth, such as drives, which could not be produced in the hobbing process due to excessive tooth height, can now be toothed in this way. A higher indexing accuracy compared to the previous indexing method and a higher profile accuracy of the product due to the elimination of the envelope cuts in the previous rolling method is achieved.
The advantage of the profile cutter lies in the shorter set-up time on the hobbing machine, with the new Profilfrä ser requiring no changes to the existing hobbing machines.
