Fig. 1 ist ein Teil-Querschnitt des Ausführungsbeispiels;
Fig. 3 ist ein Teilquerschnitt durch die Ausführungsvariante.

The present invention relates to a reclining furniture frame with transverse slats, the ends of which are connected to the longitudinal parts of the frame by means of an elastic support element. It is the aim of the invention to create a bed frame of this type which is particularly simple and thus inexpensive and also light. This aim is achieved in that the support elements have a resilient central part and an upper and lower connecting head which engages in a bore in a lath or a side part.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, which shows an embodiment and a variant.
Fig. 1 is a partial cross section of the embodiment;
Fig. 2 is a plan view of a detail of the embodiment, with a sectioned support body and
Fig. 3 is a partial cross section through the variant embodiment.
The reclining furniture frame according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has a frame, of which only one side part 1 is shown in section, with which a support strip 2 is glued on the inside. The support strip 2 is provided with holes 3. A lower connection head 4 of a support element 5 made of rubber or another rubber-elastic material engages in each bore 3. An upper connecting head 6 of the support element 5 engages in a bore 7 of a slat 8 of the frame, which is supported at the other end by means of a similar support element on the support strip 2 of the opposite side part of the frame.
The resilient middle part of the support element is located between the two connection heads 4 and 7. This has approximately the shape of an ellipsoid, which has a bore 9 with an axis lying parallel to the side part 1. The bore 9 has approximately the same height throughout and widens from a narrowest point in the middle, where the bore has an approximately circular cross-section, in the horizontal direction towards the bore ends in such a way that the bore ends have an approximately elliptical shape. The lateral load-bearing walls of the support element thus have the greatest thickness in the middle and taper towards the ends, as FIG. 2 in particular shows. The support element thus has good flexibility for tilting movements at right angles and parallel to the side part 1 with a high load-bearing capacity, which gives the slats 8 a high degree of mobility.
The support elements can be designed as molded parts.
They are light and accordingly cheap. They are installed by simply plugging in, without any screwing. The execution of the slats and strips 2 is very simple.
A particular further simplification and reduction of the total weight of the frame is possible if, instead of the glued parts 1 and 2, L-profiles made of bent and glued plywood strips according to FIG. 3 are used, their horizontal, inwardly directed legs with bores for receiving the lower connecting pins 4 the support elements 5 are provided.
