Druckluftpistole
Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch die Pistole und
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt längs der Linie II-II in Fig. 1.
Compressed air gun
The invention relates to a compressed air gun for connection to a compressed air source, in particular for alternately blowing and sucking off the collected particles.
It is known to remove metal and other particles from workpieces with a blow gun; It is also known to provide the mouthpiece of the blowgun with a deflector shield made of solid material or a deflector screen formed from air, and to deflect the particles that are blown up, for example from a cavity, so that the particles cannot cause damage to the worker. Blow guns are still very often used without such a deflector shield or screen, so that particles scattered by the jet of air hit the worker on the arm or hand holding the blow gun and collect there.
The use of the gun to blow clean is particularly dangerous when the jet of the gun hits the worker with high pressure and presses the air into an organ or under the skin. It is known that workers use a suction device (vacuum cleaner) to avoid this hazard. In this case, two devices must be available. Blowing compressed air must not take place at certain workplaces, e.g. B. in the manufacture of instruments, since flying particles and a jet of compressed air can damage an instrument, or in machines that must be protected from particles during storage. In such cases, a suction device is needed to remove the particles. Likewise, a suction device may be required to remove a liquid.
The purpose of the invention is therefore to create a compressed air gun which does not have the disadvantages of existing designs.
The compressed air gun according to the invention for connection to a compressed air source is characterized in that it has at its mouth at least two separate passages which can be alternately connected to the compressed air source, one of which is used to deliver an air jet and the other to produce a suction effect.
An exemplary embodiment of the compressed air gun according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. They represent:
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through the pistol and
FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1.
The mouthpiece 1 is screwed to a blow gun 2, which can also have the design according to German Patent No. 1037225. The gun has a valve 3 and a hose 4 for the supply of compressed air. The passage of the mouthpiece 1 is divided into an inner and an outer chamber 6 and 7 by a transverse wall 5. One end of a pipe section 8 is inserted through the transverse wall 5 and in connection with the chamber 6, while its other end is combined with a blow-out pipe 9 and an ejector nozzle 10. The tube 9 and the ejector nozzle 10 can be closed alternately by means of a valve. This valve is formed by a slotted valve housing 11 and a valve ball 12 made of magnetically influenceable material.
Outside on the mouthpiece 1, above the pipe section 8, a slide 13 with a permanent magnet 14 is slidably attached so that the magnet can be brought into a position directly above the valve 11, 12 or away from it.
The ejector mouthpiece 10 lies in the outer chamber 7. It is bent in its direction from the mouth of the chamber 7 into an expansion tube 15 protruding from the mouthpiece 1, the tube 15 having a collecting bag 16 which is detachably held in place by an O-ring 17 is.
The use and function of the mouthpiece according to the invention is as follows: it is assumed that the slide 13 is in its left limit position shown in FIG. 1 and the valve ball 12 is in the position shown in FIG. By operating the valve 3, compressed air is blown through the gun 2 into the pipe section 8 and through the blow pipe 9 ge. It then emerges from the mouthpiece 1 and blows away accumulated particles. The path of the air flow described is shown by solid arrows in FIG. When the carriage 13 has then been moved into its limit position, the permanent magnet 14 lifts the valve ball 12 so that it lies in front of the inlet of the blow-off pipe 9 and the compressed air blocks the inlet into the pipe section, as shown in FIG. 2.
At the same time, the inlet of the ejector mouthpiece 10 is exposed so that the compressed air flows through the mouthpiece 10 and into the expansion tube 15, with air being sucked in from the chamber 7 and thus causing a suction effect at the mouth of the mouthpiece 1. In this the air flow goes according to the solid arrow in tube 8 and then according to the dashed arrows in FIG. 1.
The advantages achieved with the invention consist in particular in the fact that one no longer needs one apparatus for blowing and one for suction, since the mouthpiece according to the invention fulfills both tasks alternately. In addition, the mouthpiece is convenient to use and easy to manufacture.
The design shown can be modified.
For example, the slide with the magnet can have a different, appropriate displacement path in the mouthpiece or can be replaced by an electromagnet that is attached to the mouthpiece and regulates the valve body. Other types of adjustable valves can also be used, and deflection shields or screens in different shapes can be attached to the mouthpiece 1 or to the exhaust pipe.
