Fussbodensockel
Hierbei zeigen in perspektivischer Darstellung:
Fig. 1 eine Gegenleiste,
Fig. 2 eine Fussboden-Sockelleiste und
Floor plinth
The invention relates to a floor plinth, consisting of an L-shaped skirting board and a counter bar, which is intended to be attached to a wall, the vertical leg of the skirting board having a downwardly directed short leg which is intended to be attached to to attack the counter bar.
In a known embodiment, a floor plinth designed in this way is fastened in that a mating strip designed as a clamp engages around the short leg of the plinth. The counter bar also clasps a holding bar made of wood, for example, which in turn is fastened to the wall by means of nails or screws and thereby holds both the counter bar, which is designed as a bracket, and the skirting board.
This known embodiment has several disadvantages. On the one hand, the counter strip serving as a clamp is designed to be relatively complex, so that its manufacture is laborious and expensive. On the other hand, a separate retaining bar is required to fix the mating bar on the wall, which means an additional and thus losable part in the overall arrangement of the skirting board and holder and further increases the manufacturing costs. In addition, there is additional work in that the retaining strip first has to be cut to size on site.
The invention is therefore based on the object of eliminating these disadvantages and of creating a floor plinth which, while using as few individual parts as possible, enables fast, simple and secure attachment to the wall.
The floor plinth according to the invention is characterized in that the upper edge of the mating strip is offset from the part of the mating strip lying underneath so that it can be clamped over by the short leg of the plinth.
This measure makes it much easier to attach the floor plinth to the wall. It is now sufficient to attach the mating strip to the wall, for example by means of nails, screws or by gluing, and then to push the skirting on from above or to push it on from the side.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Here show in perspective:
Fig. 1 a counter bar,
Fig. 2 a floor skirting board and
3 shows a further embodiment of a floor skirting board and a counter bar in the state mounted on a wall.
The floor skirting board 1 according to Fig. 2 is L-shaped in cross section and has a long leg 3, which ends at its free end in a support edge 4 angled from the wall about 900, which is made of a softer material than the long leg 3 is formed and this is supported on the floor 4 'shown in FIG. The support edge 4 has a lip 5 at its free end. In the same way, the skirting board 1 is provided at its highest point with a lip 6 which, when the skirting board 1 is attached, rests against the wall 7 and keeps dust and moisture away. On the long leg 3, a short, downwardly directed leg 2 running parallel to the leg 3 is also arranged.
The counter strip 8 shown in Fig. 1 has at its upper edge an upwardly and from the wall 7 protruding angle strip 9, which is provided with a toothing on the wall side. In the same way, the short leg 2 of the baseboard 1 has internal teeth 11, which when the baseboard 8 is placed on the mating bar
1 interacts with the toothing 10 of the counter bar 8. The lower edge 12 of the counter strip 8 is bent away from the wall 7 and rests resiliently on the long leg 3 of the baseboard 1 in the vicinity of the bottom 4 '. At this point, the support edge 4 is also formed on the long leg 3 of the skirting board and formed as a rounding on its side facing away from the wall 7.
The long leg 3 of the floor skirting board 1 has, on its side facing the mating bar 8, a downwardly open angle bar 13, which is attached approximately in the middle of the long leg 3 and runs in the longitudinal direction of the skirting board 1. On the mating strip 8, the angle strip 13 of the baseboard 1 is assigned a corresponding angle strip 14, which also runs in the longitudinal direction and is open at the top. The angle bar 14 is molded onto the counter bar 8 at a height suitable for engagement with the angle bar 13 or is produced with it in one operation in another suitable manner.
In the embodiment of the invention according to FIG. 3, the baseboard 1 and mating bar 8 are additionally provided with an angle bar 15 and 16 each, which are arranged in the vicinity of the lower edge. As a result, the resistance of the skirting board 1 to the pressure exerted on it is further increased and the possibility of the skirting board 1 bending towards the wall 7 is avoided.
When attaching the baseboard, the mating strip 8 is first attached to the wall 7 by means of nails, screws or by gluing. The skirting board 1 can now be pressed onto the mating bar 8 from above or, if there is enough space, pushed on from the side. It is only necessary to ensure that the short leg 2 of the baseboard 1 overlaps the angle strip 9 of the counter strip 8, so that the internal toothing 11 of the short leg 2 engages with the toothing 10 of the angle strip 9, and that the angle strip 13 into the Angle bar 14 engages. In the design of the floor skirting board 1 according to FIG. 3, this also applies to the angle bars 15 and 16.
In order to further strengthen the holding of the floor skirting board 1 on the counter bar 8, the angle bars 13, 14 and 15, 16 can be slightly inclined, i.e. be formed at an acute angle to the baseboard 1 or to the counter strip 8. This also increases the clamping effect.
The floor covering 19 is only laid after the floor skirting board 1 has been attached to the mating bar 8 and the support edge 4 adjoining the long leg 3 is thus resting on the floor 4 '. The lip 5 formed on the support edge 4 comes to lie under the floor covering 18 so that the floor skirting board 1 cannot be lifted off from this side either. In the case of the support edge 4 and floor covering 19 made of plastic, these two can be connected in an advantageous manner by welding, which is indicated in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 by means of the weld seam 20.
