(I)are psychotonic, antiallergic and antihistaminic agents. 150 g. (III Y = Cl) refluxed 18 hrs. with 10 g. (II), evapd., the residue taken up in H2O, adjusted to pH 8-9 with K2CO3 and extd. with benzene or CHCl3 gave 15.3 g. (I, X = Cl) bo.2 = 182 deg.C.
