Description
Infeed nozzle for transporting and reshaping a fleece The invention relates to an introduction nozzle for transporting and reshaping a fleece. In the past, the fleece had to be put together and twisted to a point by hand. The tip is then pushed through a nozzle, which transforms the fleece into a sliver, to the calender rollers, which then pull the material further.
The purpose of the invention is to create a nozzle of this type which automatically draws in the fleece that is fed to the nozzle, deforms it into a sliver and passes it on to the calender rolls.
The insertion nozzle according to the invention is characterized by a hollow body, the wall of which is intended to close the fibers guided through the tapering cavity of the body, one or more openings which are connected to a fluid source and open into the cavity as a transport nozzle Act.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing. The drawing shows the insertion nozzle 1 according to the invention partially in section, which has an inlet part 2 and an outlet part 3 with a central, conically extending material passage 4.
The inlet part 2 with the centrally pressed-in outlet part 3 closes the ring channel 5 and the air outlet 6. The air outlet 6 opens into the conical cavity 4 and forms an angle of approx. 45 'with the central axis of the body. The ring channel 5 stands over a .connection nipple 7 with an air source (not shown) in the connection through the
Connection nipple 7 and the air flowing through the ring channel 5 emerges radially from the ring-shaped air gap 6 . If the fleece is now brought to the inlet of the intake nozzle, the material is transported through the injector effect (TesoLcn and through the air flowing out).
The annular gap is arranged in such a way that the air curtain forms a conical surface with an opening angle to the central axis of 0 to 900. However, it goes without saying that the transport speed increases, < B> the smaller the opening angle is chosen. A constant pressure of the fluid is of course required.
As soon as the fiber material or the sliver is captured by the calender rollers, i. the air supply can be switched off.
It should also be mentioned that instead of the annular gap 6 , several openings, which are distributed around the circumference, can also be made.
