Toy figure, in particular a doll, with articulated attachment of the limbs and the head The invention relates to a play figure, in particular a doll, with an articulated attachment of the limbs and the head by means of ball joints.
In the case of dolls, the arms and legs have so far been fixed in the position of use with the help of elastic cords. Because of the elasticity of these cords, they can be moved back and forth. If the cords break, the arms and legs fall off. The doll is then unusable and needs to be repaired.
It has also been proposed to push a plate-like disc, which is attached to the ends of the arms or legs, through an opening in the doll's interior. However, it is disadvantageous that only a circular movement of the limbs is possible.
Another proposal is to let a more than hemispherical joint head in a more than hemispherical socket. If this proposal is applied to the arms and legs of dolls, the joint sockets are formed on the body of the dolls, while the joint heads are arranged on the arms and legs. It is disadvantageous that the arms and legs are molded on when a more than hemispherical joint head is formed, while the joint heads are arranged on the arms and legs.
It is disadvantageous that the arms and legs experience a strong constriction when a more than hemispherical joint head is formed, which gives the arms and legs an unnatural appearance. In addition, these constrictions make it difficult to dress the dolls.
To remedy this, according to the inven tion, the training is made such that the limb and the head on their protruding into the body the end pieces each have an inwardly open, more than a hemisphere large, spherical segment-shaped joint socket and into this from inside a more than a hemisphere large, spherical segment-shaped joint head is embedded, which sits on a carrier located inside the body. In this way the advantage can be achieved that the arms and legs and also the neck area adjoining the head can be shaped very naturally.
At the same time, the limbs and the head are perfectly fixed in such a way that they can be moved naturally in all directions.
The inventive proposal is advantageously implemented in such a way that a common carrier is provided for the joint heads of the arms and the head on the one hand and for the two legs on the other hand. The common support for the legs can be attached to the lower body wall with the help of a cross bar.
The joint socket is expediently embedded in the end pieces of the limbs and the head in such a way that it is connected to the end piece with the aid of a cup-like widening connection ring. In this way, the insertion of the joint head into the joint socket is made easier, as well as the dismantling of the joint that may be necessary.
Another feature of an embodiment is that the edge of the end piece has a flanging that is wider than the clear width of the associated body opening. This prevents the end pieces from being inadvertently detached from the body. On the other hand, the mobility of the limbs and the head is guaranteed in all directions.
The end pieces are advantageously spherical gestal tet, in such a way that their diameter is slightly larger than the clear width of the associated body opening. In this way it is reliably prevented that the limbs and the head can slide unnaturally far into the body.
Finally, an important characteristic of an embodiment is that the spherical joint heads are made of rigid material, while the joint sockets are made of elastic material.
The arms and legs as well as the head are therefore advantageously made of PVC using the centrifugal method, in each case in one piece with their end pieces and with the joint sockets located therein.
It is advisable to make the doll's body out of impact-resistant hard plastic.
The support for the joint heads of the arms and the head can be made in one piece with them.
The support for the joint heads of the legs can experience a posture at the bottom of the doll's body.
Further details emerge from the following description of a preferred embodiment and with reference to the drawing, which illustrates this embodiment example in a schematic representation.
A longitudinal section through a doll is shown. The doll essentially consists of the body a, the legs b and c, the arms d and e and the head f.
The arms and legs have at their body-side ends the spherical end pieces g, the diameter of which is greater than the inside diameter of the associated body opening h.
The joint sockets i, which are more than hemispherical and are connected to the end pieces g by means of the connecting rings k, which are cup-like and expand inward, are incorporated into the end pieces g, preferably in one piece. At their edge, these have a flange 1 to the outside, which is wider than the clear width of the associated body opening h.
As a result of the training explained, the end pieces g can neither slip into the doll's body nor fall out of it.
The joint heads m, which are spherical, are inserted into the joint sockets i. They are advantageously made of a rigid material such. B. hard plastic, while the limbs and head are formed from resilient mate rial, preferably thermoplastic.
The joint heads m for the arms and the head sit on the common support n, which consists of a transverse rod for the joint heads of the arms and a strut for the joint head of the head that engages in the middle.
The joint heads of the legs are arranged on the joint support o, which is curved. This can be held by means of the strut p in the lower area of the doll's body.
In addition to the advantages already mentioned, the invention brings the progress that the limbs and the head remain in a given posture until this is changed by the playing child. There is no automatic falling back into an initial position.
