Description


  



  Appareil pour souder deux pièces minces en matière plastique
 Le brevet principal a pour objet un procédé de soudure de deux pièces minces en matière plastique, par frottement des pièces l'une contre l'autre, caractérisé en ce que l'on entraîne l'une des pièces dans un mouvement vibratoire parallèlement à l'autre pièce. les deux pièces étant appliquées l'une contre l'autre avec une pression constante pendant toute la durée du mouvement vibratoire.



   Le brevet principal a également pour objet un appareil pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un moteur électrique portant un excentrique, en bout d'arbre, entraînant en vibration la nièce métallique dans la partie en contact avec les pièces   souder    et muni d'aspérités d'accrochage.



     I1    s'est avéré que la répartition des aspérités d'accrochage de la pièce métallique a une influence prépondérante sur la résistance de la soudure.



   La présente invention vise précisément à répartir de façon judicieuse les aspérités sur la pièce métallique.



  Elle a pour objet un appareil pour souder deux pièces minces en matière plastique selon la revendication   II    du brevet principal, caractérisé par le fait que ladite pièce métallique présente une face plane divisée en zones dentées et en zones non dentées dont la surface est en retrait des dents, les zones dentées alternant avec les zones non dentées.



   Lors de la fusion de la matière plastique, par exemple du polypropylène, la matière en fusion viendra s'accumuler dans les zones non dentées séparant deux zones dentées au lieu de fluer à l'extérieur de la soudure en réduisant ainsi la résistance de la soudure.



   Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple une forme d'exécution de l'appareil selon l'invention.



   La fig. 1 en représente une vue transversale en coupe selon I-I de la fig. 2;

 la fig. 3 montre à échelle double la face de travail de la pièce métallique d'entraînement;
 la fig. 4 représente une vue en coupe selon IV-IV de la fig. 3.



   L'appareil représenté au dessin comprend un carter 1 abritant un moteur électrique 2 maintenu par son extrémité 31 dans une pièce 4 du bâti de l'appareil et dans sa partie médiane par un collier 5.



   Le moteur porte en bout d'arbre un excentrique 6 présentant une excentricité d'environ 1 mm par rapport à l'axe du moteur et tournant dans un carré 7 coulissant dans l'ouverture rectangulaire 8 de l'outil proprement dit 9, dont l'extrémité inférieure porte les aspérités destinées à entraîner   l'un    des feuillards en polypropylène par rapport à l'autre.



   L'outil 9 présente dans sa partie supérieure un épaulement 91 s'appuyant sur un ou plusieurs ressorts 10 (fig. 2) s'appuyant lui-même sur une portée de la pièce 4. L'outil 9 traverse la pièce 4 avec un jeu latéral 11 (fig. 1) permettant à l'outil d'osciller lorsqu'il est entraîné par l'excentrique 6.



   Sous la pièce 4 est fixée une plaque de base 12 dans laquelle est sertie la contre-plaque 13 coopérant avec l'outil 9.



   L'outil 9 est abaissé au moyen du levier 14 dont l'extrémité excentrique 15 agit sur un piston 16 par l'intermédiaire d'un fort ressort hélicoïdal 17 dont la force est calculée de telle manière que la pression ne soit pas inférieure à 15 kg/cm2 lorsqu'on appuie à fond sur le levier 14.



   Un deuxième levier 18 agit élastiquement sur un tambour denté 19 coopérant avec une contre-plaque 20 pour l'avancement des feuillards.



   La surface de travail de l'outil est représentée aux fig. 3 et 4. Cette surface est divisée en zones dentées 31 et zones non dentées plus étroites 32, les zones 32 constituant un réseau de rigoles entre les zones dentées. 



   Cette conformation de la surface de travail empêche un écoulement de la matière plastique en fusion en dehors du périmètre de la surface de travail, en permettant à cette matière de fluer dans les rigoles et de   s'y    accumuler.



   Ceci permet d'éliminer les bavures, notamment celles qui se produisent dans le sens de la friction et d'obtenir une meilleure résistance de la soudure car le fluage dans les zones réservées crée, après refroidissement de la matière, une zone de soudure épaisse non détériorée par les dents.



   Dans une variante, les bords du périmètre de la surface de travail de l'outil pourraient être relevés de manière à présenter un bossage affleurant les dents et venant s'appliquer sur les feuillards sans toutefois les endommager, de manière à ce que la matière puisse fluer entre ces bossages et les dents marginales de l'outil de manière à empêcher tout fluage de la matière à   l'exté-    rieur du périmètre de Coutil.



   Il est bien entendu que la surface de travail représentée au dessin n'est qu'une forme d'exécution possible, le principe étant d'alterner des zones dentées et des zones de fluage, les différentes zones de fluage étant de préférence reliées entre elles.

REVENDICATION Appareil pour souder deux pièces minces en matière plastique selon la revendication II du brevet principal. caractérisé par le fait que ladite pièce métallique pré- sente une face plane divisée en zones dentées et en zones non dentées dont la surface est en retrait des dents, les zones dentées alternant avec les zones non dentées.
    SOUS-REVENDICATIONS 1. Appareil selon la revendication, caractérisé par le fait que les zones non dentées communiquent entre elles.
