False threading device The present invention relates to a device for false threading of yarn, wherein the thread running through is in frictional contact with a false thread tube and is withdrawn from the tube via thread guides around or through which the thread is guided.
False twisting processes using rotating twisting tubes that have enlarged outlet ends and are made of a material that has a high coefficient of friction compared to the yarn are relatively new.
The principles of such a process are, with particular reference to the bulking of yarns from synthetic polymer filaments, the devices required for this also being described, in British patents <B> 791051 </B> and <B> 801335 </B> described and claimed.
A specific difficulty that arises more with frictional false twisting than with false twisting using conventional spindles and thread-limiting pins or rollers is the so-called twisted blooming, which is understood to mean the occurrence of occasional yarn sections that are still undesirable after twisting and back-twisting with false twisting, have lagged rotation.
Such twisted bleeding, which is randomly distributed both in yarn from the same treatment point and in yarns from different treatment points, shows up as undesirable streaking (darker streaks) after processing, e.g.
It has been found that a critical portion of the residual rotation caused by a rotation limiter attached near the outlet end of the frictional false-twist tube used for the bulging can actually lead to the prevention of double bleeding, which is caused by the formation of stripes in resulting woven or knitted fabrics without noticeably affecting the bulk of the yarn. The extent of the rotation limitation is critical, since too little does not negate the twisted bleeding, while too much can have the effect that the bulk of the yarn is practically canceled.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a device in whose operation the disadvantages described above do not occur.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that a fixed pin serving as a rotation limiter is attached to the outlet end of the frictional false twisting tube in such a way that the yarn in an arc with a contact angle of 45-180 'around the pin can be guided around that the physical contact between the thread and the pin takes place immediately after the thread has left the contact point with the outlet end of the twist tube.
Preferably the pin is cylindrical and has a hard, wear-resistant surface. Ceramic surfaces as well as glossy and matt chrome-plated surfaces proved to be satisfactory.
An angle of the contact arc of 60-100 'is preferred, since within this range the bleeding is reduced without damaging the yarn or its individual filaments and without reducing the construction in the case of frictional false twisting.
The dimension begins below <B> 601 </B>. to rise rapidly in twin blood, so that below 45 'the extent of the improvement is no longer acceptable. Above <B> 100 ', </B>, for example between <B> 100 </B> and <B> 150' </B>, the yarn tension is such that single filaments running alone tear, which is usually undesirable. Above <B> 180 ', </B> in particular when the pin <B> (360') </B> is completely wrapped, the yarn tension becomes so high that the bulk is completely removed.
Immediately after is understood to mean that the fixed pin should be attached as close to the outlet end of the twisted tube as possible, but that it does not come into contact with it, and that the thread can still easily be drawn into the twisted tube and around the pin is. A distance of as little as <B> 3.2 </B> <U> mm </U> turned out to be satisfactory; a distance of <B> 76 </B> mm was found to be relatively ineffective in reducing cerebral bleeding.
The diameter of a cylindrical pin is not very critical within a realistic range, but small diameters, for example <B> 1.6 </B> mm, larger ones of, for example, <B> 9.5 </B> mm are preferred.
In the following, the device described Vorrich is explained with reference to the drawing, for example. In the drawing, the yarns Y, and <U> Y, </U> are slightly separated from one another by a heating means (not shown, which are used to fix the twist) by the yarn guides <B> 1 </B> and <B > 3 </B> are fed to the inlet ends of two counter-rotating twisted tubes <B> 5 </B> and <B> 7 </B>. As shown, the yarns run diagonally through the hollow twisted tubes, and at each end thereof are in touching contact with a sleeve made of polyurethane, with <B> 9 </B> and <B> 11 </B> being the outlet ends.
After the bushings of the outlet ends <B> 9 </B> and <B> 11 </B>, the yarns partially run around fixed cylindrical pins <B> 13 </B> and <B> 15, </B> which act as a rotation limiter, the contact angle of the arcs being, for example, <B> 901 </B>. Both yarns are then led together around the circumference of the take-off roller <B> 17 </B>, after which they can either be plied or twisted or wound up separately.
The following example illustrates the operation of the device described in practice.
<I> Example </I> A yarn of <B> 70 </B> made from 20 single filaments of polyhexamethylene adipamide was applied to the device described in British patent specification <B> 850 079 </B> with <B > 608 </B> m / min puffed wrongly twisted. The twisted tube was driven at 20 <B> 000 </B> rpm and its inlet and outlet ends were made of polyurethane with Shore hardness <B> 92 '</B> or <B> 88', < / B> with an inside diameter of <B> 23.8 </B> mm, which expanded to <B> 50.8 </B> mm.
The heating means attached in front of the twisting tube was heated to <B> 225 ° C </B> and the yarn was fed to the twisting zone through feed and take-off rollers so that a feed delay of <B> 3.3 0/9 < / B> resulting in a yarn tension of <B> 19 g </B>. The yarn tension after the twisted tube was <B> 50 g. </B>
At a distance of <B> 3.2 </B> mm from the outer periphery of the polyurethane end piece of the twin tube, a cylindrical, matt chrome-plated pin of <B> 1.6 </B> mm diameter was attached so that the thread on the way to the take-off roller, made an arc around the pen with a contact angle of <B> 90 '</B>.
The yarn thus produced was satisfactorily bulked and showed no thread bleeding expressed by streaking in a weft-knitted fabric.
