Emballage pour cigarettes
La présente invention a pour objet un emballage pour cigarettes, caractérisé par le fait qu'au moins une partie de ses faces externes porte un nomogramme indiquant les valeurs correspondantes de monnaies d'au moins deux pays distincts.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention:

L'emballage illustré en fig. 1 est formé par une boîte parallélépipédique comprenant un corps 1 et un couvercle rabattable 2 articulé sur le corps selon une arête de pliage 3.
I1 est d'ores et déjà précisé que cette forme d'exécution n'est cependant pas limitative.
La face dorsale de cette boîte est recouverte par un nomogramme 4 dont le détail apparaît en fig. 2 et qui est destiné à permettre la détermination simultanée de l'équivalence des monnaies de cinq pays différents.
Ce nomogramme comporte dans l'exemple représenté 6 échelles logarithmiques a, b, c, d, e et a2 se rapportant aux monnaies des pays suivants: la Suisse, 1'Autriche, 1'Allemagne, la France et l'Italie.
L'indication des pays auxquels se rapporte chaque échelle logarithmique est donnée au-dessus de l'échelle, d'une part, par l'inscription des initiales minéralogiques correspondantes dans des cases F et, d'autre part, par le tracé des pavillons nationaux de ces pays dans des cases g.
En dessous de chaque case g est donné en outre le nom de la monnaie ayant cours dans chaque pays et à laquelle se rapporte l'échelle logarithmique correspondante du nomogramme.
En considérant ces différentes échelles, on voit par exemple, que 10 francs suisses correspondent sensiblement à environ 60 shillings. à 9,2 marks, à un peu plus de 12 francs français et à environ 1400 lires italiennes.
Ces indications du nomogramme correspondent aux relations de change existant entre les différentes monnaies représentées par les échelles logarithmiques du nomogramme; l'alignement des échelles se trouvant réalisé selon cette même formule de relation de change dont les termes se retrouvent systématiquement sur une droite horizontale, perpendiculaire à l'ensemble des échelles.
Le module d'échelle logarithmique utilisé est identique pour toutes les échelles.
La lecture du nomogramme est bien entendu plus facile si on se sert à cet effet d'un repère rectiligne porté horizontalement au-dessus de ce nomogramme et permettant d'obtenir une vision immédiate des valeurs équivalentes; ce repère peut être constitué par le bord d'une feuille de papier, par une réglette ou de façon très pratique par une cigarette.
C'est encore pour faciliter le tracé de la droite horizontale, perpendiculaire à l'ensemble des échelles que se trouvent reproduits aux deux extrémités du nomogramme, deux échelles identiques sur lesquelles il suffit de choisir deux repères identiques et de les joindre l'un à l'autre par-dessus les autres échelles du nomogramme, pour obtenir une droite sur laquelle les valeurs respectives de chaque monnaie représentée au nomogramme se retrouvent en proportionnalité avec la formule utilisée pour l'alignement.
Ce nomogramme peut être imprimé à demeure sur l'emballage lui-même dès avant son pliage ou, selon une variante particulièrement avantageuse, sur un feuillet auto-collant ou non destiné à être fixé sur l'emballage.
Cette solution permet évidemment une adaptation plus facile du nomogramme à l'évolution du cours des monnaies.
L'emballage décrit présente le très grand avantage de pouvoir mettre à disposition des fumeurs, c'est-à-dire d'un cercle de personnes particulièrement étendu, une tabelle des changes particulièrement simple à consulter.
On peut remplacer les échelles guides disposées à chacune des extrémités latérales du nomogramme par des échelles graduées en unités de longueur.
Cigarette packaging
The present invention relates to a packaging for cigarettes, characterized in that at least part of its external faces bears a nomogram indicating the corresponding values of currencies of at least two distinct countries.

The packaging shown in fig. 1 is formed by a parallelepiped box comprising a body 1 and a hinged cover 2 articulated on the body according to a folding edge 3.
I1 is already specified that this embodiment is not, however, limiting.
The dorsal face of this box is covered by a nomogram 4, the detail of which appears in fig. 2 and which is intended to allow the simultaneous determination of the equivalence of the currencies of five different countries.
This nomogram comprises in the example shown 6 logarithmic scales a, b, c, d, e and a2 relating to the currencies of the following countries: Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France and Italy.
The indication of the countries to which each logarithmic scale relates is given above the scale, on the one hand, by the inscription of the corresponding mineralogical initials in boxes F and, on the other hand, by the outline of the flags. nationals of these countries in boxes g.
Below each box g is also given the name of the currency in use in each country and to which the corresponding logarithmic scale of the nomogram relates.
Considering these different scales, we see, for example, that 10 Swiss francs corresponds roughly to about 60 shillings. at 9.2 marks, just over 12 French francs and around 1,400 Italian lire.
These indications of the nomogram correspond to the exchange relations existing between the various currencies represented by the logarithmic scales of the nomogram; the alignment of the scales being carried out according to this same formula of exchange relation whose terms are systematically found on a horizontal line, perpendicular to the set of scales.
The logarithmic scale modulus used is the same for all scales.
Reading the nomogram is of course easier if a rectilinear reference is used for this purpose carried horizontally above this nomogram and making it possible to obtain an immediate view of the equivalent values; this mark can be formed by the edge of a sheet of paper, by a strip or very conveniently by a cigarette.
It is again to facilitate the drawing of the horizontal line, perpendicular to all the scales that are reproduced at the two ends of the nomogram, two identical scales on which it suffices to choose two identical reference marks and to join them one to the other. the other over the other scales of the nomogram, to obtain a straight line on which the respective values of each currency represented on the nomogram are found in proportionality with the formula used for the alignment.
This nomogram can be permanently printed on the packaging itself before it is folded or, according to a particularly advantageous variant, on a self-adhesive sheet or not intended to be attached to the packaging.
This solution obviously allows easier adaptation of the nomogram to changes in the price of currencies.
The packaging described has the very great advantage of being able to make available to smokers, that is to say to a particularly large circle of people, a table of changes which is particularly easy to consult.
The guide scales arranged at each of the lateral ends of the nomogram can be replaced by scales graduated in units of length.
