Fig. 1 einen Axialschnitt durch den Düsenkopf, und
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht des Düsenkopfes.
Process for the production of a continuously blown plastic film tube and nozzle head for carrying out the process
Various constructions and devices are known for the production of a continuously blown film tube:
A vertically operating extrusion system known as a Rotatruder is mounted on a rotatable ceiling and provided with a reversing gear for the reversible drive of the ceiling, which has a turning range of approx. Such systems are expensive, complicated and prone to failure. They also cause great expense. Air, electricity and water connections are specially coupled. Abrasive and pressure seals are subject to great wear and tear.
Another system works with a rotating nozzle head. It has more or less the same disadvantages as the rotary rudder.
Systems are also known in which the extrusion system or the squeezing and pulling-off machine are placed on a gear rim in order to be able to rotate the machine unit as in the case of the rotary rudder. The winding device also makes the rotary movement, so that you either have to follow the film roll or stop the rotary movement in order to be able to make the change.
As with other known systems, the above-mentioned systems also have the following disadvantageous manufacturing phenomenon. During the manufacture of the film tube, oxidation pearls are mainly formed in the interior of the film bubble. This phenomenon is in and of itself a characteristic; it results from the known processes that take place in connection with the temperature of the plasticized mass emerging from the nozzle head on the one hand and the air trapped in the film bubble above the nozzle head on the other hand, as well as with the difference in relation to the composition of the raw materials.
The main reason for the formation of the oxidation lies in the dwell time of the plasticized mass in contact with the nozzle surfaces. As is well known, the plasticized material must flow along the nozzle surfaces. Since all nozzle parts are incorrectly chrome-plated in previous systems and experience has shown that the chrome coating at most ensures the sliding properties of the plasticized compound to a reduced extent, whereas it has been proven that the chrome coating has caused the formation of large oxidation surfaces on the nozzle surfaces in contact with the plasticized compound, measures to remedy this have been necessary imposed this evil, which can consist in
to increase the lubricity of the plasticized mass by a suitable covering of the inner walls of the nozzle and thereby prevent oxidation phenomena on the nozzle walls and at the same time reduce the dwell time of the plasticized mass on the nozzle walls.
The present invention relates to a method for the production of a continuously blown plastic film tube, according to which, in order to shorten the dwell time of the plasticized mass on the nozzle surfaces, the sliding resistance of the nozzle inner surfaces is reduced and the raised mouth edge of the nozzle resting on the inner surface of the bubble Rotation is offset so that the still unconsolidated area of the film tube also rotates.
According to the invention, the nozzle head used to carry out the method has the two-part nozzle core enclosed by a stationary mouthpiece ring, the inner stationary part of which has a rotating, raised mouth part that rests positively on it, the inner surfaces of the nozzle being provided with a plastic coating.
The raised, rotating mouth section of the nozzle core, together with the mouthpiece ring, forms the exit annular gap of the nozzle.
Due to the rotating mouth part of the nozzle, which lies against the inside of the bladder and is elevated compared to the outer ring of the mouthpiece, the formation of oxide pearls is inhibited at their place of origin by the sliding effect of the rotating nozzle part.
The speed of rotation of the inner rotating orifice part of the nozzle is advantageously adapted to the exit speed of the plasticized mass.
The drawing shows, for example, a nozzle head that is used to carry out the method, namely:
Fig. 1 shows an axial section through the nozzle head, and
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the nozzle head.
The nozzle head shown for the production of a continuously blown plastic film tube has a hollow body 1 with a hollow conical mouthpiece ring 2 which is fixed in the head 1. A two-part conical nozzle core 3, 3 'and a bearing body 4 serving as a seat are also arranged in the nozzle head. The hollow conical inner surface of the nozzle ring 2 and the outer surface of the nozzle core 3, 3 'form an annular nozzle 5 which narrows towards the mouth. The disc-shaped mouth part 3' of the nozzle core 3 is positively placed on the latter and rotatable. It forms the inner mouth edge of the nozzle ring gap 5. The inner mouth edge is approx. 2 mm higher than the outer mouth edge of the nozzle ring.
The disk-shaped core part 3 ', which is rotatable with respect to the stationary nozzle core 3 and the stationary mouthpiece ring 2, is held on a drive shaft 9 rotatably mounted axially in the nozzle core 3 in ball bearings 6, 7 of a bearing bush 8 on a conical seat of the latter in a press fit by nuts 10. The bearing bush 8 is screwed into a threaded bore of a bearing lug 11 of the bearing body 4 embedded in the core receiving piece 4 and is braced to the nozzle core by a centering nut 12 screwed onto the other end of the bearing bush 8. 13 and 14 are the bevel gears of a bevel gear arranged in a hollow chamber 15 of the core receiving piece 4, one bevel gear 13 of which is attached to the drive shaft 9, while the other bevel gear 14 is mounted on a shaft at right angles to the shaft 9
16 is attached.
The shaft 16 is in one of the nozzle head
1 and the bearing body 4 are rotatably mounted in a bearing bush 17 penetrating through a matching bore and sealed on the nozzle head 1 by sealing washers 18 with end caps 19. Fastening screws 20 of the end cover enable the sealing washers 18 to be pressed with the shaft 16. A coupling piece 21 for driving the shaft is fastened to the outer end of the shaft 16. 22 is the inlet opening to the ring nozzle 5 for the supply of the plasticized plastic, which is conveyed to the ring nozzle 5 by a screw press (not shown). 23 is the inlet for the compressed air required to support the bladder 24, which enables the direct connection of a compressed air line. The compressed air enters the bladder through an axial bore in the drive shaft 9.
When the system is started up, the plastic material is pressed through the ring nozzle 5 and, under the pressure of the supporting air, forms the bubble 24 above the nozzle head. At the point indicated by the arrows a, at which the plastic material is exposed to the sliding effect of the rotating disk 3 'and the contact zone with the air begins, the formation of oxidation pearls is suppressed by the rotating disk 3'.
The rotating disk 3 'also causes the still unconsolidated film material emerging from the ring nozzle 5 to rotate, which rotation, however, is interrupted in the frost zone in which the film material is cooled and solidified, so that there is no need for a rotatable winding device .
The inner surfaces of the nozzles are expediently provided with a plastic coating, for example with the tetrafluoroethylene known under the trademark Teflon.
