Pulling and pushing device The invention relates to a pulling and pushing device on a vehicle underbody, in the case of preferably track-bound vehicles, which has the task of transmitting tensile forces to the vehicle underbody by means of a coupling rod. In this case, the device is intended to serve as a safety device by means of which the destruction of parts of the vehicle itself as a result of the impact is to be prevented from being damaged by the impact of a shock.
In the case of rail-bound vehicles, the Zugvor direction is used in particular to transmit tensile forces between the coupled rail vehicles. When maneuvering individual vehicles, however, an impact on the coupling rod representing the pulling device is often unavoidable and, in the absence of suitable measures to intercept the impact, can lead to the destruction of parts of the vehicle substructure.
The aim of the present invention is therefore to arrange the coupling rod connecting the vehicles in a device in such a way that, in addition to transmitting tensile forces, it is also able to absorb impact forces, the strength of which, however, is limited by the installation of a component with lower strength. which is destroyed when a certain impact force is reached.
In pursuit of this aim, the device according to the invention is therefore characterized in that for the limited transmission of compressive forces between the vehicle underbody and the coupling rod, a pressure part designed as a destructive element is arranged, which upon the action of a certain strength increases pressure forces due to the coupling rod exerted impacts are destroyed by deformation, in that the impact energy is destroyed by deformation work while evading the coupling rod articulation point in the direction of pressure, thus preventing the destruction of other vehicle parts.
The shape as well as the material properties of the destructive member can advantageously be selected in such a way that a limit value for the compressive forces to be transmitted without destruction can be determined by these two factors.
In a preferred embodiment according to the invention, the destructive member can preferably have the form of a bushing, which coaxially surrounds the shaft of a flange movable in a coupling rod guide and which is arranged between the coupling rod guide firmly connected to the vehicle and the flange which is longitudinally movable in this guide.
In order to localize the destruction of the bushing on a certain section in the event of a shock, the bushing can also advantageously have reinforced sections with a larger diameter and a smaller diameter central section at the front ends.
The coupling rod transmitting the pressure forces can usefully stand in connection with an approximately rectangular flange via a pivot pin, the flattened end of the coupling rod being able to be accommodated in a likewise rectangular opening in the flange.
This flange gives way in the pressure direction when impacted, the sleeve-shaped pressure part is destroyed, and the flange is advantageously guided in a box-shaped coupling rod guide during this movement.
In a further embodiment, to facilitate this relative movement of the guide and the flange, both of which have an approximately rectangular cross-section, plastic slideways are arranged on the four facing side surfaces. An embodiment of the pulling and pushing device according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the device, FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a cross section along the line II-II in FIG. 2, FIG. 4 shows a longitudinal section through the device As FIG. 1 after a pressure induced destruction of the pressure part.
According to Fig. 1 to 4 is on a strut 1 connected to the car substructure 1 made of section steel a cross-section having a U-shape Kupp bar guide 2 is fixed, which has a rectangular cross section and the coupling rod 3 facing opening at the level of the a bolt 4 formed pivot point of the coupling rod and which is arranged overall symmetrically to the central axis extending through the pivot point.
Through the bolt 4, the coupling rod 3 is rotatably connected to a flange 5 with a rectangular cross-section, the rectangular opening 6 of which surrounds the flattened end 7 of the coupling rod 3 that receives the pivot pin and the side facing away from the opening on the point passing through the pivot Lying on the center axis, it bears a pin 8 provided with a thread at the outer end, which is passed through the U-shaped coupling rod guide 2.
By means of this pin, the flange is fixed by means of a spacer sleeve 9 supported against the coupling rod guide 2 screwing 10 relative to this coupling rod guide in the direction of pulling movement. Tensile forces are on the coupling rod 3, the pivot pin 4, the flange 5 and the pin 8 on the coupling rod gene guide 2 and thus bear on the car substructure.
To transmit the pressure forces initiated via the coupling rod 3, a pressure part 11 is arranged between the flange 5 and the coupling rod guide 2, enclosing the shaft 8 as a bushing, which is intended to yield as a destructive element in relation to the strength after certain pressure forces, as shown in FIG is. In this case, the flange 5, sliding along on the legs of the coupling rod guide, plastic slideways 12, into the U-shaped coupling rod guide.
In order to fix the flange 5 against compressive force components running parallel to the axis of the pivot pin 4, flat plates 13 are firmly arranged between the legs of the U-shaped coupling rod guide adjacent to a side surface of the flange, through which the front end of the coupling rod guide forms a box receives. Here, too, plastic slideways designated by 14 are provided between the flange 5 and the plates 13, so that the flange is guided on four side surfaces.
